I Will Exalt You, My God and King 1 UST This is a psalm of David. My God and king, I will proclaim that you are very great; I will praise you now and always. BSB BSB: A Psalm of praise. Of David. I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever.
2 UST I will bless you every day; I will praise you forever. BSB BSB: Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.
3 UST Yahweh, you are great, and people should praise you very much; no one can fully understand how great you are. BSB BSB: Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.
4 UST People of every generation will tell the next generation about what you have done; they will tell about your mighty deeds. BSB BSB: One generation will commend Your works to the next, and will proclaim Your mighty acts—
5 UST I will think about how very glorious and majestic you are, and I will think about your wonderful deeds. BSB BSB: the glorious splendor of Your majesty. And I will meditate on Your wondrous works.
6 UST People will talk about how powerful your awesome deeds are, and I will proclaim how great you are. BSB BSB: They will proclaim the power of Your awesome deeds, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 UST People will celebrate how very good you are, and they will sing joyfully about how righteous you are. BSB BSB: They will extol the fame of Your abundant goodness and sing joyfully of Your righteousness.
8 UST Yahweh acts kindly and mercifully; he does not quickly become angry, and he faithfully loves us very much. BSB BSB: The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion.
9 UST Yahweh is good to everyone, and he acts mercifully toward everything that he has made. BSB BSB: The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 UST Yahweh, all the creatures that you have made will praise you, and the people who are faithful to you will bless you. BSB BSB: All You have made will give You thanks, O LORD, and Your saints will bless You.
11 UST They will tell others about how gloriously you rule as king and about how powerful you are, BSB BSB: They will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,
12 UST so that all people will know about your mighty deeds and about how gloriously and majestically you rule. BSB BSB: to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 UST You will never stop ruling as king; you will rule throughout every generation. BSB BSB: Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful in all His words and kind in all His actions.
14 UST Yahweh sustains people who are in difficult circumstances, and he helps those who are struggling. BSB BSB: The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 UST All creatures look to you expectantly, and you give them food when they need it. BSB BSB: The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in season.
16 UST You give generously and satisfy the desire of every living thing. BSB BSB: You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
17 UST Yahweh does everything rightly; indeed, he acts faithfully in all that he does. BSB BSB: The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds.
18 UST Yahweh is ready to help everyone who asks him for help when they do that sincerely. BSB BSB: The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.
19 UST He gives those who deeply respect him what they need. He responds to them when they call for help, and he rescues them. BSB BSB: He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.
20 UST Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he destroys wicked people. BSB BSB: The LORD preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 UST I will always say things to praise Yahweh; I want all people always to praise him because he is so holy. BSB BSB: My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever.
