1 ULB Aconteció que cuando Jesús terminó estas palabras, salió de Galilea, y vino a la frontera de Judea, más allá del Río Jordán. BSB BSB: When Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 ULB Grandes multitudes le seguían, y allí Él los sanaba. BSB BSB: Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.
3 ULB Los Fariseos vinieron a Él para probarle y le dijeron: "¿Es permitido que un hombre se divorcie de su esposa por cualquier razón?" BSB BSB: Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
5 ULB ¿Y qué también Él dijo: 'POR ESTA RAZÓN UN HOMBRE DEJARÁ A SU PADRE Y A SU MADRE Y SE UNIRÁ A SU ESPOSA, Y LOS DOS SE CONVERTIRÁN EN UNA CARNE'? BSB BSB: and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
6 ULB Entonces ya no son dos, sino una carne. Por lo tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, no dejen que nadie lo separe". BSB BSB: So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
7 ULB Ellos Le dijeron: "Pues, ¿por qué Moisés NOS ORDENABA A NOSOTROS QUE DEMOS UN CERTIFICADO DE DIVORCIO PARA LUEGO MANDARLA LEJOS? BSB BSB: “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
9 ULB Yo les digo que cualquiera que se divorcie de su esposa, excepto por inmoralidad sexual, y se casa con otra, comete adulterio; y el hombre que se casa con una mujer divorciada, comete adulterio". BSB BSB: Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
11 ULB Pero Jesús les dijo: "No todos pueden aceptar esta enseñanza, sino solamente aquellos que se les permite recibirla". BSB BSB: “Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given.
13 ULB Entonces Le trajeron unos niños para que Él pusiera sus manos sobre ellos y orara; pero los discípulos los rechazaron. BSB BSB: Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 ULB Pero Jesús les dijo: "Permitan a los niños venir a Mí, y no se los impidan, porque el reino de los cielos les pertenece a ellos." BSB BSB: But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
15 ULB Y Él puso Sus manos sobre ellos, y luego salió de allí. BSB BSB: And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.
16 ULB Entonces, un hombre vino a Jesús y dijo: "Maestro, ¿qué cosa buena tengo que hacer para tener vida eterna?" BSB BSB: Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?”
17 ULB Jesús le dijo: "¿Por qué me preguntas lo qué es bueno? Solo Uno es bueno, pero si tú deseas entrar en la vida, guarda los mandamientos." BSB BSB: “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18 ULB El hombre le dijo: "¿Cuáles mandamientos?" Jesús dijo: "NO MATARÁS; NO COMETERÁS ADULTERIO; NO ROBARÁS; NO DIRÁS FALSO TESTIMONIO; BSB BSB: “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness,
19 ULB HONRA A TU PADRE Y A TU MADRE; Y AMA A TU PRÓJIMO COMO A TI MISMO." BSB BSB: honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 ULB El muchacho le dijo:" Todas esas cosas yo he obedecido; ¿qué más necesito?" BSB BSB: “All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?”
21 ULB Jesús le dijo: "Si tú deseas ser perfecto, ve, vende lo que tienes y dalo a los pobres, y tendrás tesoros en el cielo. Después ven, y sígueme." BSB BSB: Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22 ULB Pero cuando el joven oyó lo que Jesús dijo, se fue triste, porque él tenía grandes posesiones." BSB BSB: When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
23 ULB Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: "A la verdad les digo, es difícil que un hombre rico entre al reino de los cielos. BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 ULB Otra vez les digo, es más fácil que un camello entre por el ojo de una aguja, que un rico entre al reino de Dios." BSB BSB: Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 ULB Cuando los discípulos oyeron esto, se quedaron sorprendidos y dijeron: "¿Quién podrá ser salvo? BSB BSB: When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 ULB "Jesús los miró y dijo: "Para la gente esto es imposible, pero para Dios todo es posible." BSB BSB: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 ULB Entonces Pedro contestó y le dijo: "Mira, nosotros dejamos todo para seguirte a Ti; entonces, ¿qué tendremos nosotros? BSB BSB: “Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?”
28 ULB Jesús les dijo: "A la verdad les digo, ustedes que me han seguido, en el nuevo nacimiento, cuando el Hijo del Hombre se siente en el trono de Su gloria, ustedes también se sentarán sobre doce tronos, juzgando las doce tribus de Israel. BSB BSB: Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 ULB Todos aquellos que dejado sus casas, sus hermanos, sus hermanas, su padre, su madre, hijos, o su tierra por causa de Mi nombre, recibirán cien veces más y heredarán la vida eterna. BSB BSB: And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
30 ULB Pero muchos que son primeros ahora serán últimos, y muchos que son últimos serán primeros. BSB BSB: But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
