2. 2EWEYehowa agbugbɔ Yakob ƒe atsyɔ̃ nɛ, eye wòanɔ abe Israel tɔ ene. Togbɔ be futɔwo gblẽ wò, Yakob ƒe anyigba, eye woha wò waingblewo hã.BSBBSB: For the LORD will restore the splendor of Jacob like the splendor of Israel, though destroyers have laid them waste and ruined the branches of their vine.
3. 3EWEFutɔwo ƒe asrafowo ƒe akpoxɔnu biã dzẽe, eye wodo awu dzĩ. Tasiaɖamŋugawo le dzo dam gbe si gbe wobla akpa na aʋawɔwɔ, eye kalẽtɔwo le woƒe akplɔwo nyem le yame.BSBBSB: The shields of his mighty men are red; the valiant warriors are dressed in scarlet. 8. 8EWENinive le abe ta si ƒe tsi le sisim ene. Ne woado ɣli be: “Mitɔ, mitɔ,” la, ame aɖeke manye kɔ akpɔ megbe o.BSBBSB: Nineveh has been like a pool of water throughout her days, but now it is draining away. “Stop! Stop!” they cry, but no one turns back.

10. 10EWEWoɖi gbɔlo dua keŋkeŋ, wohae eye woɖe amae. Amewo ƒe dzi gbã, klowo le ƒoƒom kpakpakpa, ameti blibo la le dzodzom nyanyanya, eye ŋkume sia ŋkume afu tititi.BSBBSB: She is emptied! Yes, she is desolate and laid waste! Hearts melt, knees knock, bodies tremble, and every face grows pale!
11. 11EWEAfi ka dzatawo ƒe do la le azɔ? Afi si wonyia dzataviwo le, afi si dzatatsu kple dzatanɔ kple dzatavi ɖia tsa le vɔvɔ̃manɔmee ɖe?BSBBSB: Where is the lions’ lair or the feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and lioness prowled with their cubs, with nothing to frighten them away?
12. 12EWEDzatatsu léa nu si ade viawo kple dzatanɔ nu; etsɔa nuléleawo yɔa eƒe mlɔƒe kple eƒe dowo me fũu.BSBBSB: The lion mauled enough for its cubs and strangled prey for the lioness. It filled its dens with the kill, and its lairs with mauled prey.
13. 13EWEYehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la gblɔ be: “Metso ɖe ŋuwò; matɔ dzo wò tasiaɖamwo, eye wò dzataviwo atsi yi nu. Nyemagblẽ ame aɖeke ɖe anyigba dzi nàgada adzoe o, eye womagase wò ame dɔdɔwo ƒe gbe le teƒe aɖeke azɔ o.”BSBBSB: “Behold, I am against you,” declares the LORD of Hosts. “I will reduce your chariots to cinders, and the sword will devour your young lions. I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voices of your messengers will no longer be heard.”
