1. 1PR38Herran käsi tuli minun päälleni ja vei minut pois Herran hengessä ja laski minut keskelle laaksoa. Ja se oli täynnä luita.BSBBSB: The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones.
2. 2PR38Ja hän kuljetti minua ympäri niitten ohitse; ja katso, niitä oli hyvin paljon laakson kamaralla, ja katso, ne olivat hyvin kuivia.BSBBSB: He led me all around among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, and indeed, they were very dry.
3. 3PR38Niin hän sanoi minulle: "Ihmislapsi, voivatkohan nämä luut tulla eläviksi?" Mutta minä sanoin: "Herra, Herra, sinä sen tiedät".BSBBSB: Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones come to life?” “O Lord GOD,” I replied, “only You know.”
4. 4PR38Niin hän sanoi minulle: "Ennusta näistä luista ja sano niille: Kuivat luut, kuulkaa Herran sana.BSBBSB: And He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
5. 5PR38Näin sanoo Herra, Herra näille luille: Katso, minä annan tulla teihin hengen, ja te tulette eläviksi.BSBBSB: This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will come to life.
6. 6PR38Minä panen teihin jänteet, kasvatan teihin lihan, vedän yllenne nahan ja annan teihin hengen, ja te tulette eläviksi. Ja te tulette tietämään, että minä olen Herra."BSBBSB: I will attach tendons to you and make flesh grow upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath within you so that you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
7. 7PR38Minä ennustin, niinkuin minua oli käsketty. Ja kävi humahdus, kun minä ennustin; ja katso, kuului kolina, ja luut lähenivät toisiaan, luu luutansa.BSBBSB: So I prophesied as I had been commanded. And as I prophesied, there was suddenly a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8. 8PR38Minä näin, ja katso: niihin tulivat jänteet ja kasvoi liha, ja päälle vetäytyi niihin nahka; mutta henkeä niissä ei ollut.BSBBSB: As I looked on, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
9. 9PR38Niin hän sanoi minulle: "Ennusta hengestä, ennusta, ihmislapsi, ja sano hengelle: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Tule, henki, neljästä tuulesta ja puhalla näihin surmattuihin, että ne tulisivat eläviksi."BSBBSB: Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath that this is what the Lord GOD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, so that they may live!”
10. 10PR38Minä ennustin, niinkuin hän oli minua käskenyt, ja niihin tuli henki, ja ne tulivat eläviksi ja nousivat ylös jaloillensa: ylenmäärin suuri joukko.BSBBSB: So I prophesied as He had commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet—a vast army.
11. 11PR38Ja hän sanoi minulle: "Ihmislapsi, nämä luut ovat koko Israelin heimo. Katso, he sanovat: 'Meidän luumme ovat kuivettuneet, toivomme on mennyttä, me olemme hukassa'.BSBBSB: Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’
12. 12PR38Sentähden ennusta ja sano heille: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä avaan teidän hautanne ja nostan teidät, minun kansani, ylös haudoistanne ja vien teidät Israelin maahan.BSBBSB: Therefore prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘O My people, I will open your graves and bring you up from them, and I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
13. 13PR38Ja siitä te tulette tietämään, että minä olen Herra, kun minä avaan teidän hautanne ja nostan teidät, minun kansani, ylös haudoistanne.BSBBSB: Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.
14. 14PR38Ja minä annan teihin henkeni, niin että te tulette eläviksi, ja sijoitan teidät omaan maahanne. Ja te tulette tietämään, että minä olen Herra: minä olen puhunut, ja minä sen teen, sanoo Herra."BSBBSB: I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”
15. 15PR38Ja minulle tuli tämä Herran sana:BSBBSB: Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
16. 16PR38"Sinä, ihmislapsi, ota puusauva ja kirjoita siihen: 'Juudalle ja häneen liittyneille israelilaisille'. Ota sitten toinen puusauva ja kirjoita siihen: 'Joosefille; Efraimin ja kaiken häneen liittyneen Israelin heimon sauva'.BSBBSB: “And you, son of man, take a single stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Judah and to the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Joseph—the stick of Ephraim—and to all the house of Israel associated with him.’
17. 17PR38Ja pane ne lähekkäin, pääksytysten, niin että ne tulevat yhdeksi sinun kädessäsi.BSBBSB: Then join them together into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.
18. 18PR38Kun sitten kansasi lapset sanovat sinulle näin: 'Etkö selitä meille, mitä sinä tällä tarkoitat?'BSBBSB: When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these?’
19. 19PR38niin puhu heille: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä otan Joosefin sauvan, joka on Efraimin kädessä, ja häneen liittyneet Israelin sukukunnat, ja minä asetan ne yhteen Juudan sauvan kanssa ja teen niistä yhden sauvan, niin että ne tulevat yhdeksi minun kädessäni.BSBBSB: you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them together with the stick of Judah. I will make them into a single stick, and they will become one in My hand.’
20. 20PR38Ja kun sauvat, joihin olet kirjoittanut, ovat sinun kädessäsi, heidän silmäinsä edessä,BSBBSB: When the sticks on which you write are in your hand and in full view of the people,
21. 21PR38niin puhu heille: Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: Katso, minä otan israelilaiset pois pakanakansojen keskuudesta, minne vain he ovat kulkeutuneet, kokoan heidät joka taholta ja tuon heidät omaan maahansa.BSBBSB: you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land.
22. 22PR38Minä teen heidät yhdeksi kansaksi siinä maassa, Israelin vuorilla, ja yksi kuningas on oleva kuninkaana heillä kaikilla. Eivätkä he enää ole kahtena kansana eivätkä enää jakaantuneina kahdeksi valtakunnaksi.BSBBSB: I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms.
23. 23PR38Eivät myöskään he enää saastuta itseänsä kivijumalillaan, iljetyksillään eivätkä millään rikkomuksillansa, vaan minä vapautan heidät kaikista asuinpaikoistaan, joissa ovat syntiä tehneet, ja puhdistan heidät. Ja he ovat minun kansani, ja minä olen heidän Jumalansa.BSBBSB: They will no longer defile themselves with their idols or detestable images, or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all their apostasies by which they sinned, and I will cleanse them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.
24. 24PR38Minun palvelijani Daavid on oleva heidän kuninkaansa, ja heillä kaikilla on oleva yksi paimen. Ja he vaeltavat minun oikeuksieni mukaan ja noudattavat minun käskyjäni ja pitävät ne.BSBBSB: My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.
25. 25PR38He saavat asua maassa, jonka minä annoin palvelijalleni Jaakobille ja jossa teidän isänne ovat asuneet. Siinä saavat asua he, heidän lapsensa ja lastensa lapset iankaikkisesti, ja minun palvelijani Daavid on oleva heidän ruhtinaansa iankaikkisesti.BSBBSB: They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live there forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.
26. 26PR38Minä teen heidän kanssansa rauhan liiton-se on oleva iankaikkinen liitto heidän kanssansa-istutan ja runsaasti kartutan heidät ja asetan pyhäkköni olemaan heidän keskellänsä iankaikkisesti.BSBBSB: And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary among them forever.
27. 27PR38Minun asumukseni on oleva heidän yllänsä, ja minä olen heidän Jumalansa, ja he ovat minun kansani.BSBBSB: My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.
28. 28PR38Ja pakanakansat tulevat tietämään, että minä olen Herra, joka pyhitän Israelin, kun minun pyhäkköni on heidän keskellänsä iankaikkisesti."BSBBSB: Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is among them forever.’”
