Finnish Bible 1933/1938Berean Standard Bible

1. 1PR38Voi minua, sillä minun käy niinkuin hedelmänkorjuussa, niinkuin viinisadon jälkikorjuussa: ei ole rypälettä syödäkseni, ei varhaisviikunaa, jota minun sieluni himoitsee.BSBBSB: Woe is me! For I am like one gathering summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster to eat, no early fig that I crave.
2. 2PR38Poissa ovat hurskaat maasta, eikä oikeamielistä ole ihmisten seassa. Kaikki he väijyvät verta, pyydystävät verkolla toinen toistansa.BSBBSB: The godly man has perished from the earth; there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; they hunt one another with a net.
3. 3PR38Pahantekoon molemmin käsin! Sitä taidolla tekemään! Päämies vaatii, tuomari maksusta tuomitsee, ja mahtava puhuu julki sielunsa himon; senkaltaista he punovat.BSBBSB: Both hands are skilled at evil; the prince and the judge demand a bribe. When the powerful utters his evil desire, they all conspire together.
4. 4PR38Paras heistä on kuin orjantappura, oikeamielisin pahempi kuin teräväokainen aita. Sinun tähystäjäisi ilmoittama päivä, kosto sinulle, tulee. Silloin he joutuvat sekasortoon.BSBBSB: The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is sharper than a hedge of thorns. The day for your watchmen has come, the day of your visitation. Now is the time of their confusion.
5. 5PR38Älkää uskoko ystävää, älkää luottako uskottuun; vaimolta, joka sylissäsi lepää, varo suusi ovet.BSBBSB: Do not rely on a friend; do not trust in a companion. Seal the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms.
6. 6PR38Sillä poika halveksii isää, tytär nousee äitiänsä vastaan, miniä anoppiansa vastaan; ihmisen vihamiehiä ovat hänen omat perhekuntalaisensa.BSBBSB: For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
7. 7PR38Mutta minä panen toivoni Herraan, odotan pelastukseni Jumalaa: minun Jumalani on minua kuuleva.BSBBSB: But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
8. 8PR38Älkää iloitko, minun viholliseni, minusta: jos minä olen langennut, niin minä nousen; jos istun pimeydessä, on Herra minun valkeuteni.BSBBSB: Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will arise; though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.
9. 9PR38Minä tahdon kantaa Herran vihaa, sillä minä olen tehnyt syntiä häntä vastaan, siihen asti että hän minun asiani toimittaa ja hankkii minulle oikeuden. Hän tuo minut valkeuteen, minä saan nähdä hänen vanhurskautensa.BSBBSB: Because I have sinned against Him, I must endure the rage of the LORD, until He argues my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me into the light; I will see His righteousness.
10. 10PR38Minun viholliseni saavat nähdä sen, ja häpeä on peittävä heidät, jotka sanovat minulle: "Missä on Herra, sinun Jumalasi?" Minun silmäni saavat ilokseen katsoa heitä: silloin he joutuvat tallattaviksi kuin katujen loka.BSBBSB: Then my enemy will see and will be covered with shame—she who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will see her; at that time she will be trampled like mud in the streets.
11. 11PR38Tulee päivä, jolloin sinun muurisi rakennetaan; sinä päivänä on raja oleva kaukana:BSBBSB: The day for rebuilding your walls will come—the day for extending your boundary.
12. 12PR38sinä päivänä tullaan sinun tykösi Assurista ja Egyptin kaupungeista, kaikkialta, Egyptistä aina Eufrat-virtaan, merestä mereen, vuoresta vuoreen.BSBBSB: On that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, even from Egypt to the Euphrates, from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
13. 13PR38Ja maa tulee autioksi asukkaittensa tähden, heidän töittensä hedelmäin takia.BSBBSB: Then the earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants, as the fruit of their deeds.
14. 14PR38Kaitse kansaasi sauvallasi, perintölaumaasi, joka erillänsä asuu metsässä, keskellä Karmelia. Käykööt he laitumella Baasanissa ja Gileadissa niinkuin ikiaikoina ennen. -BSBBSB: Shepherd with Your staff Your people, the flock of Your inheritance. They live alone in a woodland, surrounded by pastures. Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
15. 15PR38"Niinkuin sinun lähtösi päivinä Egyptin maasta minä annan hänen nähdä ihmeitä". -BSBBSB: As in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show My wonders.
16. 16PR38Sen näkevät pakanakansat ja saavat häpeän kaikesta väkevyydestänsä. He panevat käden suullensa, heidän korvansa menevät lumpeen.BSBBSB: Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their might. They will put their hands over their mouths, and their ears will become deaf.
17. 17PR38He nuolevat tomua kuin käärme, kuin maan matelijat. Vavisten he tulevat varustuksistansa, lähestyvät väristen Herraa, meidän Jumalaamme; he pelkäävät sinua.BSBBSB: They will lick the dust like a snake, like reptiles slithering on the ground. They will come trembling from their strongholds in the presence of the LORD our God; they will tremble in fear of You.
18. 18PR38Kuka on Jumala, niinkuin sinä olet, joka annat pahat teot anteeksi ja käyt ohitse perintösi jäännöksen rikosten? Ei hän pidä vihaa iäti, sillä hänellä on halu laupeuteen.BSBBSB: Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance—who does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in loving devotion?
19. 19PR38Hän armahtaa meitä jälleen, polkee maahan meidän pahat tekomme. Kaikki heidän syntinsä sinä heität meren syvyyteen.BSBBSB: He will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast out all our sins into the depths of the sea.
20. 20PR38Sinä osoitat Jaakobille uskollisuutta, Aabrahamille armoa, niinkuin olet vannonut meidän isillemme muinaisista päivistä asti.BSBBSB: You will show faithfulness to Jacob and loving devotion to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers from the days of old.
