Finnish Bible 1933/1938Berean Standard Bible

1. 1PR38Rukoilkaa Herralta sadetta kevätsateen aikana: Herra tekee ukkospilvet ja antaa heille sadekuurot, antaa kasvit joka miehen pellolle.BSBBSB: Ask the LORD for rain in springtime; the LORD makes the storm clouds, and He will give everyone showers of rain and crops in the field.
For idols speak deceit and diviners see illusions; they tell false dreams and offer empty comfort. Therefore the people wander like sheep, oppressed for lack of a shepherd.
3. 3PR38Paimenia kohtaan syttyy minun vihani, ja johtomiehiä minä rankaisen; sillä Herra Sebaot pitää huolen laumastansa, Juudan heimosta, ja asettaa sen ikäänkuin kunniaratsuksensa sodassa.BSBBSB: “My anger burns against the shepherds, and I will punish the leaders. For the LORD of Hosts attends to His flock, the house of Judah; He will make them like His royal steed in battle.
4. 4PR38Siitä on lähtevä kulmakivi, siitä kiinnityspaalu, siitä sotajousi, siitä lähtevät käskijät kaikki.BSBBSB: The cornerstone will come from Judah, the tent peg from him, as well as the battle bow and every ruler together.
5. 5PR38Ja he ovat niinkuin sankarit, jotka polkevat katujen lokaa sodassa. He sotivat, sillä Herra on heidän kanssansa; ja häpeään joutuvat hevosilla-ratsastajat.BSBBSB: They will be like mighty men in battle, trampling the enemy in the mire of the streets. They will fight because the LORD is with them, and they will put the horsemen to shame.
6. 6PR38Minä teen väkeväksi Juudan heimon ja autan Joosefin heimoa. Minä saatan heidät kotiin, sillä minä armahdan heitä, ja he tulevat olemaan, niinkuin en minä olisi heitä hyljännytkään. Sillä minä olen Herra, heidän Jumalansa, ja kuulen heidän rukouksensa.BSBBSB: I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them, and they will be as though I had not rejected them. For I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.
7. 7PR38Efraim on oleva niinkuin sankari, ja heidän sydämensä on iloitseva niinkuin viinistä. Heidän lapsensa näkevät sen ja iloitsevat; heidän sydämensä riemuitsee Herrassa.BSBBSB: Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.
8. 8PR38Minä olen viheltävä heille ja kokoava heidät, sillä minä lunastan heidät, ja he lisääntyvät, niinkuin lisääntyivät ennen.BSBBSB: I will whistle for them to gather, for I have redeemed them; and they will be as numerous as they once were.
9. 9PR38Kun minä sirotan heidät kansojen sekaan, muistavat he minua kaukaisissa maissa; ja he lastensa kanssa saavat elää ja palata takaisin.BSBBSB: Though I sow them among the nations, they will remember Me in distant lands; they and their children will live and return.
10. 10PR38Minä tuon heidät takaisin Egyptin maasta ja kokoan heidät Assurista; minä vien heidät Gileadin maahan ja Libanonille, eikä heille ole riittävästi tilaa.BSBBSB: I will bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon until no more room is found for them.
11. 11PR38Hän käy ahdistuksen meren lävitse, hän lyö meren aaltoja, ja kaikki Niilivirran syvyydet kuivuvat, Assurin ylpeys painuu alas, ja Egyptin valtikka väistyy pois.BSBBSB: They will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves of the sea; all the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will depart.
12. 12PR38Mutta heidät minä teen väkeviksi Herrassa, ja hänen nimensä on heidän kerskauksensa, sanoo Herra.BSBBSB: I will strengthen them in the LORD, and in His name they will walk,” declares the LORD.
