2. 2GAXIsraa'eliin akka durraa jiddeerti; deebiteelle hin kaatu; lafuma ifii keessatti gatante; nami isii ol kaasulle hin jiru.BSBBSB: “Fallen is Virgin Israel, never to rise again. She lies abandoned on her land, with no one to raise her up.”
3. 3GAXGoottaan Mootiin Waan Maraa, «Qachaan guddichi Israa'elii ka loltoota kuma duula baase, isaan keessaa loltoota dhibba qofatti isaaf hafa. Qonnaan bultooti bowaaf, worri boochisulle wiiccifatiisaaf hin waamaman.BSBBSB: Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the Lord, says: “There will be wailing in all the public squares and cries of ‘Alas! Alas!’ in all the streets. The farmer will be summoned to mourn, and the mourners to wail.
17. 17GAXOorruu woyni'ii mara keessatti wiiccifati bowaa hin te'a; ani isin adabiisaaf odduu teessan waan dabaruuf, tun marti isin irratti hin teeti» jedha.BSBBSB: There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst,” says the LORD.
