2. 2GAXInni namaaf hin dhage'u; gorsa namaa hin fudhatu; Mootii Waan Maraatitti hin addatu; gara Waaqa ifiille hin dhikaatu.BSBBSB: She heeded no voice; she accepted no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she has not drawn near to her God.
3. 3GAXQondaaltoti isaa akka neenqa dhangaa dhowuu ti; abbootiin mura'aa ta isaalle akka yayyii galgalaa ta womaa boruuf hin hamburannee ti.BSBBSB: Her princes are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves, leaving nothing for the morning.
4. 4GAXRaagoti isaa koorameeyyi'i; isaan worra hin addatanne; hayyooti isaa waan woyyuu te'e batteessan; seeralle hin dassan.BSBBSB: Her prophets are reckless, faithless men. Her priests profane the sanctuary; they do violence to the law.
5. 5GAXMootiin Waan Maraa balchichi ammoo isa keessa jira; inni dokonkora hin qabu; inni ganama mara muraa dhuga'aa mura; guyyuma guyya'aan hin dadhabu; dabaaleyyiin ammoo qaanii hin beekanu.BSBBSB: The LORD within her is righteous; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the unjust know no shame.
6. 6GAXMootiin Waan Maraa, «Ani gosa biyya adda addaa balleesseera; Xelleephoo isaanii diigeera; karaa isaanii akka nami tokkolle irra hin ideenne duwwaa godheera; qachooti isaaniille onee ka nami tokkolle keessa hin jirre te'aneeran.BSBBSB: “I have cut off the nations; their corner towers are destroyed. I have made their streets deserted with no one to pass through. Their cities are laid waste, with no man, no inhabitant.
7. 7GAXAni, ‹Dhugumaan qachaan Yerusaalemii na hin sodaata; adabbii tiyyalle hin fudhata; worri achi keessa jiranulle ijjumaa hin badanu; adabbiin tiyya martille isaan hin dhaqqaddu› jedheeraayyu; qachaan sun ammoo ammalle hujii hantuu san hujiisaaf dharraa qaba.BSBBSB: I said, ‘Surely you will fear Me and accept correction.’ Then her dwelling place would not be cut off despite all for which I punished her. But they rose early to corrupt all their deeds.
8. 8GAX«Tanaaf ani Mootiin Waan Maraa, ‹Guyyaa ani dhugaa baasiisaaf ka'u sanitti na eegadha'a! Ani gosa biyya lafaa wolitti qabiisaaf, mootummootalle wolitti raree, aarii tiyya ta bobeettu maraayyuu isaan irratti dhangalaasiisaaf murteeffadheera; biyyi lafaa martinuu hinaaffaa tiyya ta akka ibiddaatiin hin gubatti› jedheera.BSBBSB: Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “until the day I rise to testify. For My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My indignation—all My burning anger. For all the earth will be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.
9. 9GAX«Yennaa san ani kolbaa gosa biyya adda addaa mara maqaa kiyya akka waamanu, harka wol qabatanee akka ana tajaajilanu dubbii qullittii akka dubbatanu isaan hin godha.BSBBSB: For then I will restore pure lips to the peoples, that all may call upon the name of the LORD and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.
10. 10GAXKolbaan tiyya worri bittinnowe, na waaqonfatiisaaf, lagoota Itoophiya'aa gamaa, kennansa naaf hin fidan.BSBBSB: From beyond the rivers of Cush My worshipers, My scattered people, will bring Me an offering.
11. 11GAXGuyyaa sanitti ani worra koora ifiititti gammadu odduu teessanii waan baasuuf, isin waan na yakkitane san maraaf hin qaanottanu; gaara kiyya woyyicha irrattille haganaa achi ifi hin saaddanu.BSBBSB: On that day you will not be put to shame for any of the deeds by which you have transgressed against Me. For then I will remove from among you those who rejoice in their pride, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.
12. 12GAXKolbaa gad ifi qadduu fi ta hin koorre, ta ana Mootii Waan Maraatitti addattu ammoo isin oddu'utti hin hambura;BSBBSB: But I will leave within you a meek and humble people, and they will trust in the name of the LORD.
13. 13GAXIsraa'elooti worri hafane haganaa achi hin yakkanu; dharalle hin dubbatanu; namalle hin sobanu; isaan nyaatanee hin irkatan; ka isaan sodaachisulle hin jiru» jedhe.BSBBSB: The remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or speak lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths. But they will feed and lie down, with no one to make them tremble.”
14. 14GAXEe gumii Xiyoonii, faarfadha'a; ee kolbaa Israa'elii iyya'a! Ee kolbaa Yerusaalemii, gadhaa tokkochaan gammadaan ilillisa'a!BSBBSB: Sing for joy, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem!

17. 17GAXMootiin Waan Maraa Waaqi keeti si woliin jira; hunni isaa injifannoo sii kenniti; inni guddoo sitti hin gammada; jaalala ifiitiin jiruu teeti hin haaressa; inni faaru'uun si'itti hin gammada» hin jedhan.BSBBSB: The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”
18. 18GAXMootiin Waan Maraa ammalle, «Akka kolbaa guyyaa jilaa gammadduu, si gammachiisa. Ani muraa isin irratti ba'aa teete isin irraa hin kaasa.BSBBSB: “I will gather those among you who grieve over the appointed feasts, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.
19. 19GAXAni yennaa sanitti worra isin cunqursu maraayyuu hin adaba; worra naafa hin fayyisa; worra bittinnowelle wolitti hin qaba. Qaanii isaanii gara ulfinnaa jijjiiree, biyyi lafaa duudiin isaan hin leellitti.BSBBSB: Behold, at that time, I will deal with all who afflict you. I will save the lame and gather the scattered; and I will appoint praise and fame for the disgraced throughout the earth.
20. 20GAXYennaa sanitti ani wolitti isin qabee, biyya teessanitti isin hin galcha; boojuu teessan, adoo isin ilaaltanuu isiniif hin deebisa. Ani kolbaa gosa adda addaa ta lafa irraa mara oddu'utti, ulfinnaa fi leellisa akka dhaggattanu isin hin godha» jedha.BSBBSB: At that time I will bring you in; yes, at that time I will gather you. For I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your captives before your very eyes,” says the LORD.
