1. 1GMVEኖሄ ናይታ፥ ሴሜ፥ ካሜኔ ያፌቴ ዬሌታይ ሃይሳፌ ካሊ ጻፌቲዳይሳ፤ ꬋይሳ ሃꬃፌ ጉዬ ኢስታስ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ዬሌቲዳ።BSBBSB: This is the account of Noah’s sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who also had sons after the flood.
2. 2GMVEያፌቴ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ጎሜሬ፥ ማጎጌ፥ ማዳዬ፥ ያዋኔ፥ ቱባሌ፥ ሜሼኬኔ ቲራሴBSBBSB: The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.
3. 3GMVEጎሜሬ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ኣሽኬናዜ፥ ኢራፋቴኔ ቶጋርማ።BSBBSB: The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.
4. 4GMVEያዋኔ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ኤሊሼ፥ ታርሴሴ፥ ኪቲሜኔ ኤሮዴ።BSBBSB: And the sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittites, and the Rodanites.
5. 5GMVEሃይታንታፌ ኣባ ዶናን ዲዛ ኣሳይ ዉሪ ባ ቢታን ቢታን፥ ባ ቃላን ቃላን፥ ባ ቆሞን ቆሞኒኔ ባ ካዎቴꬃን ካዎቴꬃን ሻኬቲዴስ።BSBBSB: From these, the maritime peoples separated into their territories, according to their languages, by clans within their nations.
6. 6GMVEካሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ኩሼ፥ ጊብጼ፥ ፑጼኔ ካናኔ።BSBBSB: The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
7. 7GMVEኩሼ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ሴባ፥ ሃዊላ፥ ሳቢቴ፥ ኤራኢሜኔ ሳቢቴካ። ኤራኢሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ሳባኔ ዳዳኔ።BSBBSB: The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
8. 8GMVEኩሼይ ናሙሩዴ ዬሊዴስ፤ ናሙሩዴይ ቢታ ቦላን ኮይሮ ዎልቃማ ኦላንቻ ጊዲዴስ፤BSBBSB: Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.
9. 9GMVEጎዳ ሲንꬃንካ ኢዚ ዎልቃማ ሻንካንቻ ጊዲዴስ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ፥ «ናሙሩዴ ማላ ጎዳ ሲንꬃን ዎልቃማ ሻንካንቻ ጊዳ» ጌቴቴስ።BSBBSB: He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; so it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.”

11. 11GMVEኢዚ ሄ ቢታፌ ኣሶሬ ቢዲ ናናዌ፥ ኤራሆቦቴኔ ካላሄ ካታማታ ኦꬂዴስ፤ ቃሴ ናናዌፔኔ ካላሄፔ ጊዶን ዲዛ ኤሬሴኔ ጌቴቲዛ ጊታ ካታማካ ኦꬂዴስ።BSBBSB: From that land he went forth into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah,
12. 13GMVEጊብጼይ ሉዲሜታ፥ ኣናሜታ፥ ላሃቤታ፥ ናፍቱሄታ፥ ጳጺሮሴታ፥ ካሲሉሄታኔ ፊሊስጼሜታ ዬሊዳ ካፍቶሬታ ኣዋ።BSBBSB: Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,
13. 15GMVEካናኔይ ባ ባይራ ናዛ ሲዶና፥ ኬጼታ፥ ያቡሴታ፥ ኣሞሬታ፥ ጌርጌሴታ ኣዋ፤BSBBSB: And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
14. 17GMVEቃሴካ ሂዌታ፥ ኣርቄታ፥ ሲኔታ፥BSBBSB: the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
15. 18GMVEኣርዋዴታ፥ ጻማሬታኔ ሃማቴታ ኣዋ። ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ካናኔ ዜሬꬃቲ ቢታ ቦላ ላሌቲዳ።BSBBSB: the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans were scattered,
16. 19GMVEካናኔ ቢታ ዛዋይ ሲዶናፔ ዶሚዲ ጌራሬኔ ጋዛራ ካንꬂዲ፥ ሶዶሜኔ ጋሞራ፥ ኣዳማኔ ጻቦይሜ ካንꬂ ቢዲ ላሻኤሬ ጋኬስ።BSBBSB: and the borders of Canaan extended from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
17. 20GMVEካሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ባ ቆሞን ቆሞን፥ ባ ቃላን ቃላን፥ ባ ቢታን ቢታኒኔ ባ ካዎቴꬃን ካዎቴꬃን ጻፌቲዳይቲ ሃይታንታ።BSBBSB: These are the sons of Ham according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
18. 21GMVEሴሜስ ናይቲ ዬሌቲዳ፤ ኢዚ ያፌቴስ ባይራ ኢሻኔ ኤቦሬ ናይታ ኡባስ ማይዛ።BSBBSB: And sons were also born to Shem, the older brother of Japheth; Shem was the forefather of all the sons of Eber.
19. 22GMVEሴሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ኤላሜ፥ ኣሶሬ፥ ኣርፋኪሲዴ፥ ሉዴኔ ኣራሜ።BSBBSB: The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.
20. 23GMVEኣራሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ኡጼ፥ ሁሌ፥ ጌቴሬኔ ሜሼ።BSBBSB: The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.
21. 24GMVEኣርፋኪሲዴይ ሼላሄ ዬሊዴስ። ሼላሄይ ኤቦሬ ዬሊዴስ።BSBBSB: Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
22. 25GMVEኤቦሬስ ናምኡ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ዬሌቲዳ፤ ቢታን ዲዛ ኣሳይ ኢዛ ዎዴን ሻኬቲዳ ጊሻስ ኢሳ ሱንꬂ ፔሌጌ ጌቴቲዴስ፤ ኢዛ ኢሻዛ ሱንꬂ ዮቂጻኔ ጌቴቴስ።BSBBSB: Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.
23. 26GMVEዮቂጻኔይ ናይታ ዬሊዴስ፤ ኢስቲካ ኣልሞዳዴ፥ ሼሌፌ፥ ሃጻርማዌቴ፥ ዬራሄ፥BSBBSB: And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
24. 27GMVEሃዶራሜ፥ ኡዛሌ፥ ዲቂሌ፥BSBBSB: Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
25. 28GMVEኦባሌ፥ ኣቢማኤሌ፥ ሳባ፥BSBBSB: Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
26. 29GMVEኦፊሬ፥ ሃዊላኔ ዮባቤ፤ ሃይታንቲ ዉሪካ ዮቂጻኔ ኣቱማ ናይታ።BSBBSB: Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
27. 30GMVEኢስቲ ዴኢዳ ቢታይ ኣርሼይ ሞኪዛ ባጋራ ዲዛ ዙማ ሜሼፔ ቢዲ ሳፋሬ ጋኬስ።BSBBSB: Their territory extended from Mesha to Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
28. 31GMVEሴሜ ኣቱማ ናይቲ ባ ቆሞን ቆሞን፥ ባ ቃላን ቃላን፥ ባ ቢታን ቢታኒኔ ባ ካዎቴꬃን ካዎቴꬃን ጻፌቲዳይቲ ሃይታንታ።BSBBSB: These are the sons of Shem, according to their clans, languages, lands, and nations.
29. 32GMVEሃይታንቲ ባ ቆሞን ቆሞኒኔ ባ ካዎቴꬃን ካዎቴꬃን ጻፌቲዳ ኖሄ ኣቱማ ናይታ ዜሬꬃታ፤ ꬋይሳ ሃꬃፌ ሲሚን ካዎቴꬃቲ ሃይታንታፌ ቢታ ኡባ ቦላ ላሌቲዳ።BSBBSB: All these are the clans of Noah’s sons, according to their generations and nations. From these the nations of the earth spread out after the flood.
