1. 1GMVEኤፍሬሜይ ኢስራኤሌ ዴሬዛ ጊዶን ቦንቼቲ ዲዛ ጊሻስ ኢዚ ሃሳይሺን ኣሳይ ኡባይ ኮኮሬስ። ጊዶ ኣቲን ባኣሌስ ጎይኒዳ ጊሻስ ቆሂዴስ፤ ሃይቂዴስ።BSBBSB: When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling; he was exalted in Israel. But he incurred guilt through Baal, and he died.
2. 2GMVEሃኢካ ናጋራ ቦላ ናጋራ ጉጂዳ፤ ባንታ ጪንጫቴꬃን ሚስሌታ ባስ ጊግሲዳ፤ ቢራፔ ኤቃ ጾሳታ ባንታስ ሜꬊዳ፤ ሄይቲ ዉሪካ ኣሳ ኩሼን ኦሴቲዳይታ፤ ሃይታ ሃ ኣሳታ ጊሻስ፥ «ኣስ ያርሾ ሂስቲ ሺሼቴስ፤ ማራ ሚስሌን ኦሴቲዳ ኤቃ ጾሳታ ዬሬቴስ» ጌቴቲዴስ።BSBBSB: Now they sin more and more and make for themselves cast images, idols skillfully made from their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. People say of them, “They offer human sacrifice and kiss the calves!”
3. 3GMVEሄሳ ጋሶን ኢስቲ ዎንታ ማላዶ ሻራ ማላ ጮ ቲምኢ ጋና፤ ማላዶ ጻዛ ማላካ ጮ ዎꬊ ꬋያና፤ ዎይኮ ባንጋ ቡኪዛ ባሌፔ ጎቴ ጫርኮይ ኤፊዛ ሱላ ማላ ጊዳና፤ ዎይኮ ኬꬃፌ ኬዚዲ ቤቲሼ ጮ ꬋይዛ ጩዋ ማላ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: Therefore they will be like the morning mist, like the early dew that vanishes, like chaff blown from a threshing floor, like smoke through an open window.
4. 4GMVEጎዳይ፥ «ኔና ጊብጼፔ ኬሲዳይ ታና ጎዳ ኔ ጾሳ፤ ኔስ ታፔ ኣቲን ሃራ ጾሲ ዴና፤ ኔና ኣሺዳይ ታፔ ኣቲን ሃራ ጾስ ጊዴና።BSBBSB: Yet I am the LORD your God ever since the land of Egypt; you know no God but Me, for there is no Savior besides Me.
5. 5GMVEባዞ ቢታን ካꬂኔ ሃꬂ ባይንዳሶን ኔና ኢሻልሳ ዎꬃዲስ።BSBBSB: I knew you in the wilderness, in the land of drought.
6. 6GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ታ ሚዚን ኢስቲ ካሊዳ፤ ካሊዲ ኦቶሬቲዳ፤ ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ታና ባሊዳ።BSBBSB: When they had pasture, they became satisfied; when they were satisfied, their hearts became proud, and as a result they forgot Me.
7. 7GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ታኒ ኢስታ ቦላ ጋሞ ማላ ያና፤ ማሄ ማላ ኦጌ ቦላ ዛማዳ ኡታና።BSBBSB: So like a lion I will pounce on them; like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
8. 8GMVEኢዚ ማራቲ ቦንቄቲዳ ዛርዶ ማላ ታ ኢስታ ሾጫናኔ ፑዜሬꬃና፤ ታ ኢስታ ጋሞ ማላ ፑዜሬꬃ ሚታና፤ ዎራ ዶኣ ማላ ዱሴሬꬃና።BSBBSB: Like a bear robbed of her cubs I will attack them, and I will tear open their chests. There I will devour them like a lion, like a wild beast tearing them apart.
9. 9GMVE«ኢስራኤሌ ዴሬዞ! ኔ ታ ቦላ ዴንዲዳ ጊሻሲኔ ኔና ማዲዛ ታናራ ኔ ኤቄቲዳ ጊሻስ ኔ ꬋያና፤BSBBSB: You are destroyed, O Israel, because you are against Me—against your helper.
10. 10GMVEኔ ታና፥ ‹ታስ ካዎኔ ሃላቃታ ኢማ› ጋዳሳ፤ ሂስቲን ሃኢ ኔና ኣሻና ካዎይ ኣዋን ዲዜ? ኔ ካታማታን ዲዛ ሃላቃቲ ኡባይ ሃኢ ኣዋን ዲዞ?BSBBSB: Where is your king now to save you in all your cities, and the rulers to whom you said, “Give me a king and princes”?
11. 11GMVEታ ሃንቄታሼ ኢንቴስ ካዎ ኢማዲስ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ታኒ ቦሻንካ ኢዛ ሻራዲስ።BSBBSB: So in My anger I gave you a king, and in My wrath I took him away.
12. 12GMVE«ኤፍሬሜ ቆሆይ ዶሬቲዴስ፤ ኢዛ ናጋራይካ ማዝጋቤን ጻፌቲዴስ።BSBBSB: The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is stored up.
13. 13GMVEሚጻይ ኦይኪዳ ማጫሳ ማላ ኢዛ ቦላ ሜቶይ ያና፤ ኢዚ ጊዲኮ ኣꬎ ኤራቴꬂ ባይንዳ ኤያ ና፤ ዬሌቲዛ ዎዴይ ጋኪን ባ ኣዬይ ኡሎፔ ዬሌታናስ ኮዮንታ ና ማላ።BSBBSB: Labor pains come upon him, but he is an unwise son. When the time arrives, he fails to present himself at the opening of the womb.
14. 14GMVEታኒ ኔና ዱፎ ዎልቃፌ ኣሻና፤ ሃይቆፔካ ዎዛና። ሃይቆ! ኔ ዎꬊዛ ዎልቃይ ኣዋን ዲዜ? ዱፎዞ! ኔኒ ኣስ ꬋይሲዛ ዎልቃይ ኣዋን ዲዜ? ታኒ ኢዛስ ቃꬌቲኬ።BSBBSB: I will ransom them from the power of Sheol; I will redeem them from Death. Where, O Death, are your plagues? Where, O Sheol, is your sting? Compassion is hidden from My eyes.
15. 15GMVEኢዚ ባ ኢሻታ ጊዶን ዱሬ ጊዲኮካ ጎዳፔ ኪቴቲዳ ጫርኮይ ኣርሼይ ሞኪዛ ባጋራ ባዞ ቢታፌ ዴንዲዲ ያና። ፑልቶይ ቶኣና፤ ሃꬃ ኦላይካ ሜላና፤ ኢዛስ ዲዛ ኣልኦ ኣቆታይ ሚንጃ ኬꬃፌ ቦንቄታና።BSBBSB: Although he flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will come—a wind from the LORD rising up from the desert. His fountain will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will plunder his treasury of every precious article.
16. 16GMVEሳማሪያ ኣሳይ ባንታ ጾሳ ቦላ ማካሊዳ ጊሻስ ባንታ ቆሆ ቶካና፤ ማሻንካ ሲፌታና፤ ቄሪ ናይቲ ቢታ ቦላ ዲንጬታና፤ ቃንꬃራ ዲዛ ማጫሳታ ኡሎይ ዳኬታና» ጌስ።BSBBSB: Samaria will bear her guilt because she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.
