1. 1GMVEኢስራኤሌ ኣሳዉ! ኡፋዬቶፍቴ! ሃራ ካዎቴꬃታ ማላ ኡፋይስ ኖጮጩ ጎፒቴ! ኣይስ ጊኮ ኢንቴ ኢንቴ ጾሳስ ኣማኔቲቤኬታ ካꬃ ባሌ ኡባን ላይማቴꬃስ ኢሚዛ ዋጋ ዶሲዴታ።BSBBSB: Do not rejoice, O Israel, with exultation like the nations, for you have played the harlot against your God; you have made love for hire on every threshing floor.
2. 2GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ሃይሳፌ ጉዬ ኢንቴ ካꬃ ባሌፔ ካꬅ፥ ዎይኔ ጉምኢዛሶሆፔ ዎይኔ ኡሹ ዴሜኬታ። ኦራꬃ ዎይኔ ኡሺካ ኢንቴስ ፓጫና።BSBBSB: The threshing floor and winepress will not feed them, and the new wine will fail them.
3. 3GMVEኢስራኤሌ ዴሬይ ጎዳይ ኢስታስ ኢሚዳ ቢታን ኡቴና። ኤፍሬሜይ ዱጌ ጊብጼ ሲማና፤ ኣሶሬካ ቢዲ ቱኒዳ ካꬅ ማና።BSBBSB: They will not remain in the land of the LORD; Ephraim will return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Assyria.
4. 4GMVEሄን ጎዳስ ዎይኔ ኡሹ ያርሻናስ ዳንዳዬቴና፤ ኢስታ ያርሾይካ ጎዳ ኡፋይሴና። ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢስታስ ያርሾዚ ሾቻ ካꬅ ጊዳና፤ ኢዛ ሚዛ ኡባይ ቱናና። ሄ ካꬃዚ ጮ ጋፋስ ሚዛ ካꬅ ጊዳና ኣቲን ጎዳ ኬꬅ ያርሾስ ሺቄና።BSBBSB: They will not pour out wine offerings to the LORD, and their sacrifices will not please Him, but will be to them like the bread of mourners; all who eat will be defiled. For their bread will be for themselves; it will not enter the house of the LORD.
5. 5GMVEሂስቲን ኢንቴ ዱማ ዱማ ባኣሌ ጋላሳታኒኔ ጎዳ ባኣሌ ጋላሳታን ኣይ ኦꬄቲ?BSBBSB: What will you do on the appointed day, on the day of the LORD’s feast?
6. 6GMVEኢስቲ ባሻፌ ኣታናስ ቤቲኮካ ጊብጼይ ኢስታ ሺሻና፤ ሜምፒሳ ጌቴቲዛሶን ኢስታ ሞጋና፤ ኢስቲ ሃሪዳ ቢራይ ዉሪካ ሻራፋ ማይኢ ኣታና፤ ኢስታ ዱሳሶ ኡባ ኣጉንꬂ ላታና።BSBBSB: For even if they flee destruction, Egypt will gather them and Memphis will bury them. Their precious silver will be taken over by thistles, and thorns will overrun their tents.
7. 7GMVEቃጻያና ዎዴይ ጋኪዴስ፤ ፒርዳ ጋላሲካ ጋኪዴስ፤ ሄሳ ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳይ ኤሮ። ኢንቴ ኦꬂዳ ናጋራይ ዳሮ ጊዲዳ ጊሻሲኔ ኢንቴ ሞርኬቴꬂ ጊታ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ናቤይ ኤያ ማላ፥ ጾሳ ኣያናይ ኢዛ ቦላ ሼምፒዳዴይ ጎሻ ማላ ቆዴቲዴስ።BSBBSB: The days of punishment have come; the days of retribution have arrived—let Israel know it. The prophet is called a fool, and the inspired man insane, because of the greatness of your iniquity and hostility.
8. 8GMVEናቤይ ጾሳራ ጊዲዲ ኤፍሬሜ ናጊዛዴ፤ ጊዶ ኣቲን ኢዛ ኦጌ ኡባን ዎጺማዴይ፥ ኢዛ ጾሳ ኬꬃን ኢጾይ ኢዛ ናጌስ።BSBBSB: The prophet is Ephraim’s watchman, along with my God, yet the snare of the fowler lies on all his paths. Hostility is in the house of his God!
9. 9GMVEኢስራኤሌ ኣሳይ ካሴ ጊቢኣ ዎዴ ዲዛ ኣሳ ማላ ኬሂ ቱኒዴስ፤ ጾሲ ኢስታ ቆሆዛ ቆፒዲ ኢስታ ናጋራ ጊሻስ ኢስታ ቃጻያና።BSBBSB: They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah; He will remember their guilt; He will punish their sins.
10. 10GMVEጎዳይ፥ «ታኒ ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳ ዴሚዳ ዎዴ ታስ ባዞ ቢታን ዎይኔ ሚꬃ ኣይፌ ዴሚዳ ሚሳቲዴስ። ታኒ ካሴ ኢንቴ ኣዋታ ቤኢዳ ዎዴ ታስ ኮይሮ ካጺዳ ባላሴ ሚꬃ ኣይፌ ቤኢዳ ሚሳቲዴስ። ኢስቲ ባኣሊ-ፔኦሬ ጋኪዳ ዎዴ ባንታናቴꬃ ዬላቺዛ ኤቃ ጾሳስ ዱማሲዳ። ኢስቲካ ሄ ባ ሲቂዛ ኤቃ ጾሳ ማላ ቱኒዳ።BSBBSB: I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the firstfruits of the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal-peor, and consecrated themselves to Shame; so they became as detestable as the thing they loved.
11. 11GMVEኤፍሬሜ ቦንቾይ ካፎይ ፒራꬊዛ ማላ ፒራꬊ ꬋያና፤ ሃይሳፌ ጉዬ ና ቃንꬃቴꬂ፥ ሻራይኔ ና ዬሎይካ ዴና።BSBBSB: Ephraim’s glory will fly away like a bird, with no birth, no pregnancy, and no conception.
12. 12GMVEና ዬሊዲ ዲቺኮካ ኢስቲ ꬎማና ጋካናስ ታ ኢስታ ዎꬋና። ታ ኢስታፌ ታ ኣይፌሶ ዛሪዳ ዎዴ ኢስታስ ኣዬ ኣና!BSBBSB: Even if they raise their children, I will bereave them of each one. Yes, woe be to them when I turn away from them!
13. 13GMVEኤፍሬሜይ ጺሮሴ ማላ ሎኦ ጋዴን ቶኬቲን ቤኣዲስ፤ ሃኢ ጊዲኮ ኤፍሬሜይ ባ ናይታ ሼምፖ ዎꬊዛይታስ ኣꬂ ኢማና።BSBBSB: I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre, planted in a meadow. But Ephraim will bring out his children for slaughter.
14. 14GMVEጎዳዉ! ኔ ሃ ዴራስ ኣይ ኢማኔ? ኣዉጫዪዛ ኡሎኔ ሹላ ꬋንꬅ ኢማ!BSBBSB: Give them, O LORD—what will You give? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that dry up!
15. 15GMVE«ኢስቲ ጌልጌላን ኦꬂዳ ኢታቴꬃ ጋሶን ታ ኢስታ ኢጻዲስ፤ ኢስቲ ኦꬂዳ ኢታ ኦሶ ጊሻስ ታ ኬꬃፌ ታ ኢስታ ጎዳና፤ ሃይሳፌ ጉዬካ ታ ኢስታ ዶሲኬ፤ ኢስታ ካሌꬂዛይቲ ኡባይ ማካላንቻታ።BSBBSB: All their evil appears at Gilgal, for there I hated them. I will drive them from My house for the wickedness of their deeds. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.
16. 16GMVEኤፍሬሜይ ሾጬቲዴስ፤ ኢስታስ ጻጶይካ ሜሊዴስ፤ ኢስቲ ኢሻሎን ዲቺዳ ናይታ ታ ዎꬋና» ጌስ።BSBBSB: Ephraim is struck down; their root is withered; they cannot bear fruit. Even if they bear children, I will slay the darlings of their wombs.
17. 17GMVEኢስቲ ኣዛዜቶንታ ኢጺዳ ጊሻስ ታ ጾሲ ኢስታ ዬጊ ኣጋና፤ ኢስቲካ ካዎቴꬃታ ጊዶን ጮ ቶይላታና።BSBBSB: My God will reject them because they have not obeyed Him; and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
