1. 1GMVE«ሄኮ ታኒ ባና ኦጌ ባሳና ኣስ ታፔ ሲንꬃራ ዬዳና፤ ኢንቴ ኮይዛ ጎዳይ ኢንቴ ቆፖንታ ጾሳ ኬꬅ ጋኪ ዎꬋና፤ ኢንቴ ኡፋይሳን ናጊዛ ጫቆ ቃላ ኪታ ኤኪ ዪዛ ታ ኪቲዳዴይ ያና።BSBBSB: “Behold, I will send My messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple—the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight—see, He is coming,” says the LORD of Hosts.
2. 2GMVEኢዚ ያና ጋላሳ ቴቃና ዳንዳይዛይ ኦኔ? ኢዚ ቆንጪዛ ጋላስ ኢዛ ሲንꬃን ኤቃናስ ዳንዳያናይ ኦኔ? ኢዚ ጮጬ ታማ ማላ ዎይኮ ማይኦ ሜጪዛ ሳሙና ማላ፤BSBBSB: But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner’s fire, like a launderer’s soap.
3. 3GMVEቢራ ታማን ሴሪሲዲ ሎኤꬂ ጌሺዛ ኣሳ ማላ ኡታና፤ ሌዌ ናይታ ዎርቃ ማላኔ ቢራ ማላ ጌሻና፤ ሄሳፌ ጉዬ ጎዳስ ያርሾ ሺሺዛ ጺሎ ኣሳቲ ዳና።BSBBSB: And He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the LORD in righteousness.
4. 4GMVEሄ ዎዴ ዩሁዳኒኔ ዬሩሳላሜን ሺቂዛ ያርሾይ ካሴ ኣꬊዳ ዎዴ ማላ ጎዳ ኡፋይሲዛ ያርሾ ጊዳና።BSBBSB: Then the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will please the LORD, as in days of old and years gone by.
5. 5GMVE«ሄሳ ጊሻስ ታ ኢንቴኮ ፒርዳና ያና፤ ሙሬኒዛይታ፥ ላይማቲዛይታ፥ ዎርዶ ማርካ ማርካቲዛይታ፥ ዎርዶ ጫቆ ጫቂዛይታ፥ ኦሶ ኦሲሲዲ ሚሻ ዲጊዛይታ፥ ኣምኤታኔ ዪኦ ናይታ ዴቺዛይታ፥ ቤቴ ኣሳታስ ፒርዳ ቱጪዛይታ፥ ታስ ባቦንታይታ ቦላ ማርካታናስ ታ ኤሌሳይስ» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ።BSBBSB: “Then I will draw near to you for judgment. And I will be a swift witness against sorcerers and adulterers and perjurers, against oppressors of the widowed and fatherless, and against those who defraud laborers of their wages and deny justice to the foreigner but do not fear Me,” says the LORD of Hosts.
6. 6GMVE«ታኒ ላሜቶንታ ጾሳ፤ ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴኖ ያቆቤ ናይቶ! ኢንቴ ꬋይቤኬታ» ጌስ ጎዳይ።BSBBSB: “Because I, the LORD, do not change, you descendants of Jacob have not been destroyed.
7. 7GMVE«ኢንቴ ካሴ ኢንቴ ኣዋታ ዎዴፔ ዶሚዲ ታ ኣዛዞታፔ ሃኪዴታ፤ ኢስታካ ናጊቤኬታ፤ ሃ ታኮ ሲሚቴ ታኒካ ኢንቴኮ ሲማና፤ ኢንቴ ጊዲኮ፥ ‹ኑኒ ኔኮ ዋኒ ሲሚኖ?› ጌታ» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ።BSBBSB: Yet from the days of your fathers, you have turned away from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD of Hosts. “But you ask, ‘How can we return?’
8. 8GMVE«ኣሲ ጾሳ ሚሽ ካይሶቲ ኤሪዜ? ኢንቴ ጊዲኮ ካይሶቴታ፤ ኢንቴ ቃሴ፥ ‹ኑ ኣይ ካይሶቲዶኒ?› ጊዲ ኦይቺቴ፤ ኢንቴ ኣስራታኔ ማባ ታፔ ካይሶቲዴታ።BSBBSB: Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you ask, ‘How do we rob You?’ In tithes and offerings.
9. 9GMVEኢንቴ ኢስራኤሌ ኣሳይ ኡባይ ታ ሚሽ ካይሶቲዳ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ቃንጌቲዳይታ።BSBBSB: You are cursed with a curse, yet you—the whole nation—are still robbing Me.
10. 10GMVEታ ኬꬃን ሚዛ ካꬂ ዳና ማላ ኢንቴካ ታና ሃይሳን ፓጫናስ ኣኔ ታማፌ ኢሲኖ ኡባ ሃ ታ ጎታራን ጌልꬂቴ፤ ታ ኢንቴስ ሳሎ ማስኮቴ ዶዮንታ ኣጊኮኔ ኢንቴስ ዎꬂዛሶይ ꬋያና ጋካናስ ታ ኢንቴስ ኣንጃ ፓላሂሶንታ ኣጊኮ ቤያንዴታ» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ።BSBBSB: Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD of Hosts. “See if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing without measure.
11. 11GMVEታ ኢንቴ ጊሻስ ኢንቴ ቢታን ሞኪዛ ካꬃ ቆሂዛ ሚሻቲ ኢንቴ ካꬅ ሞንታ ማላ ታ ሃንቃና፤ ኢንቴ ካꬃይካ ሜቴቴና፤ ኢንቴ ጋዴ ጊዶን ኢንቴ ቶኪዳ ዎይኔ ሚꬃይ ኣይፌይ ባይንዳ ጮ ሜላ ዴና፤BSBBSB: I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your land, and the vine in your field will not fail to produce fruit,” says the LORD of Hosts.
12. 12GMVE«ሄሳፌ ካሊዲ ኢንቴ ዴሬይ ካሎ ቢታ ጊዲዳ ጊሻስ ሃራ ዴሬይ ዉሪካ ኢንቴና ኢንቴ ኣንጄቲዳ ዴሬታ ጊ ጼይጋና» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ።BSBBSB: “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight,” says the LORD of Hosts.
13. 13GMVE«ኢንቴ ታ ቦላ ጻላቴꬃ ቃላ ሃሳይዴታ» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ። «ኢንቴ ጊዲኮ፥ ‹ኔ ቦላ ኑ ኣይ ሃሳይዶኒ?› ጌታ።BSBBSB: “Your words against Me have been harsh,” says the LORD. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we spoken against You?’
14. 14GMVEቃሴካ ኢንቴ፥ ‹ጾሳስ ኦሶይ ሃዳ፤ ኢዛ ኣዛዞታ ናጎይኔ ሜꬌቴꬃ ጎዳ ሲንꬃን ሙዞቲዛ ኣሳ ማላ ዴኦይ ኑና ኣይ ማዲዴ?BSBBSB: You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What have we gained by keeping His requirements and walking mournfully before the LORD of Hosts?
15. 15GMVEሃኢ ኑ ኦቶራንቻቲ ኣንጄቲ ዲሺን ኢታ ኦꬂዛይቲ ዱሬቲሺን ጾሳ ፓጪዛይቲ ኬሲ ኤኪ ኣቲሺን ቤዮስ› ጌታ» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ።BSBBSB: So now we call the arrogant blessed. Not only do evildoers prosper, they even test God and escape.’”
16. 16GMVEሄ ዎዴ ጎዳስ ባቢዛ ኣሳቲ ባ ጋርሳን ኢሶይ ኢሳራ ሃሳዬቲዳ ጎዳ ጾሲካ ኢስቲ ጊዛይሳ ሎኤꬂ ሲዪዴስ፤ ጎዳስ ባቢዛይታስ ቃሴካ ኢዛ ሱንꬃ ቦንቺዛይታስ ኢስቲ ኦሶይ ባሌቶንታ ማላ ቆፍሲዛ ማጻፋይ ኢዛ ሲንꬃን ጻፌቲዴስ።BSBBSB: At that time those who feared the LORD spoke with one another, and the LORD listened and heard them. So a scroll of remembrance was written before Him regarding those who feared the LORD and honored His name.
17. 17GMVE«ታኒ ኦꬂዛ ጋላስ ኢስቲ ታስ ቡዞ ሚሽ ጊዳና» ጌስ ኡባፌ ዎልቃማ ጎዳ ጾሳይ፤ «ኣዋይ ባስ ኦꬂዛ ና ኣሺዛ ማላ ታኒካ ኢስታ ኣሻና።BSBBSB: “They will be Mine,” says the LORD of Hosts, “on the day when I prepare My treasured possession. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.
18. 18GMVEሄ ዎዴ ቃሴካ ጺሎኔ ናጋራንቻ ጊዶን ጾሳስ ኦꬂዛይታ ጊዶኒኔ ኦꬆንታይታ ጊዶን ዲዛ ዱማቴꬃ ኢንቴ ቤያንዴታ።BSBBSB: So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
