1. 1GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ኣባ ቦላ ዎጎሎራ ፒኒዲ ካሴ ባ ዲዛ ካታማ ዪዴስ።BSBBSB: Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own town.
2. 2GMVEሄን ኢሲ ጉንዳ ኣዴዛ፥ ኣሳይ ሃላራ ቶኪዲ ዬሱሳኮ ኤሂዴስ። ዬሱሲካ ኢስታ ኣማኖ ቤኢዲ ጉንዳ ኣዴዛ፥ «ኣይኮይ ባ፤ ሃይሶ ናዞ! ኔ ናጋራይ ኣቶ ጌቴቲዴስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”
3. 3GMVEሄ ዎዴ ሙሴ ዎጋ ታማርሲዛይቲ፥ «ሃይሲ ጾሳ ጫሻ» ጊዲ ባ ዎዚናን ቆፒዳ።BSBBSB: On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!”
4. 4GMVEዬሱሲ ኢስታ ቆፋ ኤሪዲ፥ «ኢንቴ ዎዚናን ኢታ ዮኦ ኣዛስ ቆፔቲ?BSBBSB: But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, “Why do you harbor evil in your hearts?
5. 5GMVE‹ኔ ናጋራይ ኣቶ ጌቴቲዴስ› ጉሳፌኔ ‹ዴንዳዳ ባ!› ጉሳፌ ኣዋይሲ ካዉሼ?BSBBSB: Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?
6. 6GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኣሳ ናስ ቢታ ቦላ ኣሴ ናጋራፔ ማራናስ ሼኔይ ዲዛይሳ ኤራና ማላሳ» ጊዲ ጉንዳ ኣዴዛ «ዴንዳ! ኔ ሃላ ኤካዳ ኔሶ ባ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” Then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”
7. 7GMVEጉንዳ ኣዴዚካ ዴንዲዲ ባሶ ቢዴስ።BSBBSB: And the man got up and went home.
8. 8GMVEዴሬይካ ሄሳ ቤኢዲ ማላሌቴꬃኒኔ ባቦን ኩሚዲ ሃይሳ ማላ ጎዳቴꬅ ኣሳስ ኢሚዳ ጾሳ ጋላቲዴስ።BSBBSB: When the crowds saw this, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
9. 9GMVEዬሱሲ ሄፔ ዴንዲዲ ቢሼ ኢሲ ማቶሳ ጌቴቲዛዴይ ቃራጻ ቃንጺሲዛሶን ኡቲዳይሳ ቤኢዲ፥ «ታና ካላ!» ጊን ዴንዲዲ ኢዛ ካሊዴስ።BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him.
10. 10GMVEዬሱሲ ማቶሳሶን ማዳ ቦላ ዲሺን ዳሮ ቃራጻ ቃራጺዛይቲኔ ናጋራንቻቲ ኢዛኮ ዪዲ ኢዛራኔ ኢዛ ካሊዛይታራ ኢሲፌ ማናስ ኡቲዳ።BSBBSB: Later, as Jesus was dining at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples.
11. 11GMVEፋርሳዌቲ ሄሳ ቢዪዲ ዬሱሳ ካሊዛይታ፥ «ኢንቴና ታማርሲዛይሲ ቃራጻ ቃንጺሲዛይታራኔ ናጋራንቻታራ ዋኒ ኢስታራ ኢሲፌ ካꬅ ሚዜ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12. 12GMVEዬሱሲካ ኢስቲ ጊዛይሳ ሲዪዲ ኢስታስ፥ «ኣኪሜይ ኮሺዛይ ሳኬቲዳይታስ ኣቲን ሳኬቶንታ ፓጻታስ ጊዴና።BSBBSB: On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
13. 13GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ፥ ‹ኢንቴ ቢዲ ያርሾ ጊዶንታ ማሮቴꬅ ዶሳይስ› ጊዛ ቃላ ቢርሼꬅ ታማርቴ። ናጋራንቻታ ጼይጋና ያዲስ ኣቲን ጺሎታ ጼይጋናስ ያቤኬ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
14. 14GMVEጻማቂዛ ዮሃኒሳ ካሊዛይቲ ዬሱሳኮ ዪዲ፥ «ኑኒኔ ፋርሳዌቲ ጾሚሺን ኔና ካሊዛይቲ ኣዛስ ጾሜቴኔ?» ጊ ኦይቺዳ።BSBBSB: Then John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why is it that we and the Pharisees fast so often, but Your disciples do not fast?”
15. 15GMVEዬሱሲ ኢስታስ፥ «ሚሺራ ላጌቲ ሚሺራዚ ኢስታራ ዲሺን ሙዞታና ቤሲዜ? ሚሺራይ ኢስታፌ ኤኬታና ዎዴይ ያና፤ ኢስቲ ሄ ዎዴ ጾማና።BSBBSB: Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while He is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
16. 16GMVE«ጋልኣ ማይኦ ቦላ ኦራꬃ ዎሶ ዎꬂ ሲኪዛ ኣሲ ዴና። ጋልኣ ቦላ ኦራꬅ ዎꬂ ሲኪኮ ኦራꬃዚ ጋልኣዛ ፔꬌሬꬂዲ ዳኬꬅ ሃ ዳርሳና።BSBBSB: No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. For the patch will pull away from the garment, and a worse tear will result.
17. 17GMVEኦኒካ ኦራꬃ ዎይኔ ኡሹ ጋልኣ ሉካሞን ጉጄና። ጉጂዛ ጊዲኮ ሉካሞዚ ꬉቃና፤ ዎይኔ ጫጄዚካ ጉካና፤ ሉካሞዚካ ጎኣይ ባይንዳዝ ጊዳና። ጊዶ ኣቲን ኦራꬃ ዎይኔ ጫጄይ ኦራꬃ ሉካሞዛን ጉጄቴስ። ሄሳ ማላራ ዎይኔ ጫጄዚኔ ሉካሞዚ ሎኦን ናጌቲዲ ጋምኤስ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
18. 18GMVEዬሱሲ ኣሳ ሃሳይሶን ዲሺን ኢሲ ሹሜይ ኢዛ ሲንꬃን ኩንዲዲ፥ «ታስ ና ዳራ ሃይቃና ጋዉስ። ኢዛ ፓጻ ዳና ማላ ያዳ ኔ ኩሼ ኢዚ ቦላ ዎꬃርኪ?» ጊን፥BSBBSB: While Jesus was saying these things, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him. “My daughter has just died,” he said. “But come and place Your hand on her, and she will live.”
19. 19GMVEዬሱሲ ዴንዲዲ ኢዛራ ቢዴስ፤ ዬሱሳ ካሊዛይቲካ ኢዛራ ቢዳ።BSBBSB: So Jesus got up and went with him, along with His disciples.
20. 20GMVEታማኔ ናምኡ ላይꬅ ኩሜꬅ ኢዚፔ ሱꬂ ጉኪዛ ኢሲ ማጫሳያ ዬሱሳፔ ጉዬራ ያዳ ኢዛ ኣፋላ ማጫራ ቦቻዱስ።BSBBSB: Suddenly a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak.
21. 21GMVEኢዛ ሄሳ ኦꬂዳይ፥ «ኢዛ ኣፋላ ማጫራ ታ ቦቺዳኮ ፓጻና» ጊዛ ኣማኖይ ኢዚ ዎዚናን ዲዛ ጊሻስ ቦቻዱስ።BSBBSB: She said to herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed.”
22. 22GMVEዬሱሲካ ጉዬ ሲሚ ጼሊዲ ማጫሳዮ፥ «ኣይኮይ ባ፥ ታ ናዬ! ኔና ኔ ኣማኖይ ፓꬂዴስ» ጊን ማጫሳያ ሄራካ ፓጻ ጋዱስ።BSBBSB: Jesus turned and saw her. “Take courage, daughter,” He said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that very hour.
23. 23GMVEዬሱሲካ ሹሜዛ ሶ ማታ ጋኪሺን ዴሬይ ዛዬራኔ ዲንኬራ ዋሲሼ ዬኪዛይሳ ቤኢዲ፥BSBBSB: When Jesus entered the house of the synagogue leader, He saw the flute players and the noisy crowd.
24. 24GMVE«ኪቺቴ! ናያ ꬊስካዱስ ኣቲን ሃይቃቤኩ» ጊን ኢስቲ ኢዛ ቦላ ሚጪዳ።BSBBSB: “Go away,” He told them. “The girl is not dead, but asleep.” And they laughed at Him.
25. 25GMVEዴሬይ ዉሪ ኬꬃፌ ኬዚን ኢዚ ኬꬃ ጌሊዲ ናይ ኩሼ ኦይኪዴስ፤ ናያካ ዴንዳ ኤቃዱስ።BSBBSB: After the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.
26. 26GMVEኢዛ ጎባቴꬂ ሄ ዴሬ ኡባን ሴቴቲዴስ።BSBBSB: And the news about this spread throughout that region.
27. 27GMVEዬሱሲካ ሄፔ ቢሺን ናምኡ ቆቄቲ፥ «ዳዊቴ ናዉ! ኑና ማራርኪ!» ጊዲ ዋሲሼ ኢዛ ጌዶ ካሊዳ።BSBBSB: As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28. 28GMVEቆቄቲካ ዬሱሲ ጌሊዳ ኬꬃ ኢዛ ካሊዲ ጌሊዳ። ዬሱሲካ ኢስታስ፥ «ታ ኢንቴ ኣይፌ ፓꬃና ዳንዳይዛይሳ ኣማኔቲ?» ጊዲ ኦይቺዴስ። ኢስቲካ፥ «ኤ፥ ጎዶ!» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: After Jesus had entered the house, the blind men came to Him. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” He asked. “Yes, Lord,” they answered.
29. 29GMVEሄሳፌ ጉዬ ዬሱሲ ኢስታ ኣይፌ ቦቺዲ፥ «ኢንቴ ኣማኖ ማላ ኢንቴስ ሃኖ!» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Then He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”
30. 30GMVEኢስታ ኣይፌይካ ጼሊዴስ። ዬሱሲካ፥ «ሃይሳ ኦኒካ ኤሮንታ ማላ» ጊዲ ሚንꬂ ዮቲዴስ።BSBBSB: And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one finds out about this!”
31. 31GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ኢስቲ ቢዲ ሄራ ኡባሶን ዬሱሳ ጊሻስ ዎሬሲዳ።BSBBSB: But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout the land.
32. 32GMVEኢስቲ ሄፔ ኬዚሺን ዳይዳንꬂ ኦይኪዳ ኢሲ ዶና ዱዴ ኣስ ዬሱሳኮ ኤሂዳ።BSBBSB: As they were leaving, a demon-possessed man who was mute was brought to Jesus.
33. 33GMVEዳይዳንꬃዚ ኬዚዳፔ ጉዬ ሄ ዶና ዱዴ ኣዴዚ ሃሳያ ኦይኪዴስ፤ ዴሬዚካ ማላሌቲዲ፥ «ሃይሳ ማላ ሃኖይ ኢስራኤሌ ቢታን ሃኒን ኑ ቤዪ ኤሮኮ» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: And when the demon had been driven out, the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
34. 34GMVEጊዶ ኣቲን ፋርሳዌቲ ዛሪዲ ኢዛ፥ «ዳይዳንꬅ ኬሲዛይ ዳይዳንꬃታ ሃላቃና» ጊዳ።BSBBSB: But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that He drives out demons.”
35. 35GMVEዬሱሲ ኣይሁዳታ ዎሳ ኬꬃን ኣይሁዳታ ታማርሲሼኔ ጾሳ ካዎቴꬃ ሚሺራቾ ቃላ ዮቲሼ ቃሴካ ሃርጌ ኡባፌ ኣሳ ፓꬂሼ ጉታታን ጉታታን ዩዪዴስ።BSBBSB: Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness.
36. 36GMVEኣሳይ ዉሪ ሄሚዛዴይ ባይንዳ ዶርሳ ማላ ኬሂ ሜቶቴቲዲ ጼሊዛይ ባይንዳዴ ጊዲዳይሳ ቤኢዳ ዎዴ ኢስታስ ዳሮ ሚሼቲዴስ።BSBBSB: When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37. 37GMVEባና ካሊዛይታስካ፥ «ማጻ ጋኪዳ ካꬃይ ዳሮ ሺን ማጺ ሺሺዛይቲ ጉꬃታ።BSBBSB: Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
38. 38GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ካꬃ ጎዳይ ካꬃኮ ኦሳንቻታ ዬዳና ማላ ዎሲቴ!» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.”
