2. 2GMVEዙማቶ! ጾሳ ሞቶ ሲዪቴ፤ ኢንቴኖ ቢታ ሚኖ ጻጶቶ ሲዪቴ፤ ጾሳስ ኣሳራ ፓላማይ ዴስ፤ ኢዚ ኢስራኤሌ ናይታራ ፒርዴቴስ።BSBBSB: Hear, O mountains, the LORD’s indictment, you enduring foundations of the earth. For the LORD has a case against His people, and He will argue it against Israel:
3. 3GMVEታ ዴሬዞ! ታ ኔና ዎስታዲና? ታ ኔስ ኣዛን ቶሆ ጊዳዲና? ኣኔ ታስ ዛሮ ኢማ።BSBBSB: ‘My people, what have I done to you? Testify against Me how I have wearied you!
4. 4GMVEታ ኔና ጊብጼፔ ኬሳዲስ፤ ኣይሌቴꬃ ቢታፌካ ዎዛዲስ፤ ኔና ካሌꬃና ማላ ሙሴ፥ ኣሮኔኔ ማራሞ ኔስ ዬዳዲስ።BSBBSB: For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery. I sent Moses before you, as well as Aaron and Miriam.
5. 5GMVEታ ዴሬዞ! ሞኣቤ ካዎይ ባላቄይ ኢዛ ዞሪን ቢኦሬ ና ባላሜይ ኢዛስ ዛሮይሳ ኣኔ ዩሺ ቆፒቴ፤ ጾሳ ጺሎቴꬃ ኦሶ ኢንቴ ሻኪ ኤራና ማላ፥ ሺጺሜፔ ጌልጌላ ጋካናስ ኢንቴ ሄሜቶይሳ ኣኔ ቆፒቴ» ጊዴስ።BSBBSB: My people, remember what Balak king of Moab counseled and what Balaam son of Beor answered. Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal, so that you may acknowledge the righteousness of the LORD.’”
6. 6GMVEታ ኣይ ኤካዳ ጾሳ ሲንꬄ ሺቆ? ዴኦ ጾሳስ ዎስታ ጎይኖ? ጹጌቲዛ ያርሾ ኢሲ ላይꬃ ማራራ ጋꬃ ኤካ ባዳ ኢዛ ሲንꬅ ሺቆሻ?BSBBSB: With what shall I come before the LORD when I bow before the God on high? Should I come to Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?
7. 7GMVEኢሲ ሺ ꬋርሾታኔ 10,000 ጎጊዛ ዛይቴይ ጾሳ ኡፋይሳንዴሻ? ታ ኢዛ ቆሆይሳ ጊሻስ ታ ባይራ ናዛ ኢሚዛኮ ታ ሼምፖ ናጋራ ጊሻስ ታ ኡሎፔ ዎꬊዳ ዬሎ ኢዛስ ኢሞሻ?BSBBSB: Would the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8. 8GMVEኣሳ ናዉ! ኢዚ ኔና ሎኦ ሚሽ ቤሲዴስ ጾሲ ኔፔ ኮይዛይ ኣዜ? ሎኦ ኦꬃና ማላ ማሮቴꬅ ኔ ዶሳና ማላኔ ጾሳ ሲንꬃን ኔኒ ኣሽኬቴꬃራ ባና ማላ ጊዴኔ?BSBBSB: He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
9. 9GMVEጾሳስ ባቦይ ኣꬊዳ ኤራቴꬃ፤ ሲዪቴ! ጾሲ ካታማዮ ሂዝጊ ጼይጌስ፥ «ኢዛ ሃንቆ ጉፌዛ ቆፒቴ፤ ሄሳካ ጊግሲዳይ ኦናኮ ዎዚናን ዎꬂቴ።»BSBBSB: The voice of the LORD calls out to the city (and it is sound wisdom to fear Your name): “Heed the rod and the One who ordained it.

11. 11GMVEባሌꬂዛ ማካ ሚሽ ኦይኪዳዴ፥ ዎርዶ ማካ ሚሻ ካራጺቴን ጹንቲዳዴ ጺሊሳናስ ታስ ቤሲዜ?BSBBSB: Can I excuse dishonest scales or bags of false weights?
12. 12GMVEኢዚ ዴሬን ዱሬ ኣሳቲ ኣስ ቆሂዛዴንታ፤ ኢዚን ዲዛ ኣሳይ ዎርዳንቻ ጻላ፤ ኢስታ ኢንጻርሳይ ባሌꬂዛ ኢንጻርሳ።BSBBSB: For the wealthy of the city are full of violence, and its residents speak lies; their tongues are deceitful in their mouths.
13. 13GMVEሄሳ ጊሻስ ታ ኔና ꬋይሳና ዴንዳዲስ፤ ኔ ናጋራ ጌዶን ታ ኔና ላላና።BSBBSB: Therefore I am striking you severely, to ruin you because of your sins.
14. 14GMVEኔ ማናሺን ካላካ፤ ኔ ቃንꬃይ ጮ ሜላ ዳና፤ ኔ ሺሻናሺን ኣይኮካ ኔስ ሺቄና፤ ኔ ሺሺዳይሳ ታኒ ማሻሲኔ ቶራስ ኣꬃ ኢማና።BSBBSB: You will eat but not be satisfied, and your hunger will remain with you. What you acquire, you will not preserve; and what you save, I will give to the sword.
15. 15GMVEኔ ዜራና ሺን ማጻካ፤ ዎጋራ ሚꬃ ዛይቴ ኔ ጉምኣና ሺን ሄ ዛይቴዛ ቲዬታ፤ ዎይኔ ሚꬃ ኣይፌ ጹንቃ ሺሻናሺን ዎይኔ ኡሹ ኔ ኡያካ።BSBBSB: You will sow but not reap; you will press olives but not anoint yourselves with oil; you will tread grapes but not drink the wine.
16. 16GMVEካዎ ኦሚሬ ዎጋኔ ካዎ ኣካቤ ኬꬃ ዎጋ ኔ ኡባ ሺሻ ኦይካዳሳ፤ ኔካ ኢስታ ሃይሲኤ ካላዳሳ። ሄሳ ጊሻስ ኔና ꬋይሳስ፥ ኔ ዴሬዛካ ታኒ ቂꬌስ ኣꬃ ኢማና፤ ዴሬይ ኔ ቦላ ቂꬊ ካኣና።BSBBSB: You have kept the statutes of Omri and all the practices of Ahab’s house; you have followed their counsel. Therefore I will make you a desolation, and your inhabitants an object of contempt; you will bear the scorn of the nations.”
