1. Chambers for the Priests

2. 1GNVThen brought hee me into the vtter court by the way towarde the North, and he brought me into the chamber that was ouer against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the North.BSBBSB: Then the man led me out northward into the outer court, and he brought me to the group of chambers opposite the temple courtyard and the outer wall on the north side.
3. 2GNVBefore ye length of an hundreth cubites, was the North doore, and it was fiftie cubites broad.BSBBSB: The building with the door facing north was a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide.
4. 3GNVOuer against the twentie cubites which were for the inner court, and ouer against the pauement, which was for the vtter court, was chamber against chamber in three rowes.BSBBSB: Gallery faced gallery in three levels opposite the twenty cubits that belonged to the inner court and opposite the pavement that belonged to the outer court.
5. 4GNVAnd before the chambers was a gallery of ten cubites wide, and within was a way of one cubite, and their doores towarde the North.BSBBSB: In front of the chambers was an inner walkway ten cubits wide and a hundred cubits long. Their doors were on the north.
6. 5GNVNowe the chambers aboue were narower: for those chambers seemed to eate vp these, to wit, the lower, and those that were in the middes of the building.BSBBSB: Now the upper chambers were smaller because the galleries took more space from the chambers on the lower and middle floors of the building.
7. 6GNVFor they were in three rowes, but had not pillars as the pillars of the court: therefore there was a difference from them beneath and from the middlemost, euen from the ground.BSBBSB: For they were arranged in three stories, and unlike the courts, they had no pillars. So the upper chambers were set back further than the lower and middle floors.
8. 7GNVAnd the wall that was without ouer against the chambers, toward the vtter court on the forefront of the chambers, was fiftie cubites long.BSBBSB: An outer wall in front of the chambers was fifty cubits long and ran parallel to the chambers and the outer court.
9. 8GNVFor the length of the chambers that were in the vtter court, was fiftie cubites: and loe, before the Temple were an hundreth cubites.BSBBSB: For the chambers on the outer court were fifty cubits long, while those facing the temple were a hundred cubits long.
10. 9GNVAnd vnder these chambers was the entrie, on the East side, as one goeth into them from the outward court.BSBBSB: And below these chambers was the entrance on the east side as one enters them from the outer court.
11. 10GNVThe chambers were in the thicknesse of the wall of the court towarde the East, ouer against the separate place, and ouer against the building.BSBBSB: On the south side along the length of the wall of the outer court were chambers adjoining the courtyard and opposite the building,
12. 11GNVAnd the way before them was after ye maner of the chambers, which were toward ye North, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their entries were like, both according to their facions, and according to their doores.BSBBSB: with a passageway in front of them, just like the chambers that were on the north. They had the same length and width, with similar exits and dimensions.
13. 12GNVAnd according to ye doores of ye chambers that were towarde the South, was a doore in the corner of the way, euen the way directly before the wall toward the East, as one entreth.BSBBSB: And corresponding to the doors of the chambers that were facing south, there was a door in front of the walkway that was parallel to the wall extending eastward.
14. 13GNVThe said he vnto me, The North chambers and ye South chambers which are before ye separate place, they be holy chambers, wherein the Priests that approch vnto ye Lord, shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meate offering, and the sinne offering, and the trespasse offring: for the place is holy.BSBBSB: Then the man said to me, “The north and south chambers facing the temple courtyard are the holy chambers where the priests who approach the LORD will eat the most holy offerings. There they will place the most holy offerings—the grain offerings, the sin offerings, and the guilt offerings—for the place is holy.
15. 14GNVWhen the Priestes enter therein, they shall not go out of the holy place into the vtter court, but there they shall lay their garmentes wherein they minister: for they are holy, and shall put on other garmentes, and so shall approch to those things, which are for the people.BSBBSB: Once the priests have entered the holy area, they must not go out into the outer court until they have left behind the garments in which they minister, for these are holy. They are to put on other clothes before they approach the places that are for the people.”

16. The Outer Measurements

17. 15GNVNowe when he had made an ende of measuring the inner house, he brought mee forth toward the gate whose prospect is towarde the East, and measured it round about.BSBBSB: Now when the man had finished measuring the interior of the temple area, he led me out by the gate that faced east, and he measured the area all around:
18. 16GNVHe measured the East side with the measuring rod, fiue hundreth reedes, euen with the measuring reede round about.BSBBSB: With a measuring rod he measured the east side to be five hundred cubits long.
19. 17GNVHe measured also the Northside, fiue hundreth reedes, euen with the measuring reede rounde about.BSBBSB: He measured the north side to be five hundred cubits long.
20. 18GNVAnd he measured the South side fiue hundreth reedes with the measuring reede.BSBBSB: He measured the south side to be five hundred cubits long.
21. 19GNVHe turned about also to the West side, and measured fiue hundreth reedes with the measuring reede.BSBBSB: And he came around and measured the west side to be five hundred cubits long.
22. 20GNVHe measured it by the foure sides: it had a wall round about, fiue hundreth reedes long, and fiue hundreth broade to make a separation betweene the Sanctuarie, and the prophane place.BSBBSB: So he measured the area on all four sides. It had a wall all around, five hundred cubits long and five hundred cubits wide, to separate the holy from the common.
