1. The Mountain of the House of the LORD

   (Isaiah 2:1–4)

2. 1GNVBut in the last dayes it shall come to passe, that the mountaine of the House of the Lord shall be prepared in the toppe of the mountaines, and it shall bee exalted aboue the hilles, and people shall flowe vnto it.BSBBSB: In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it.
3. 2GNVYea, many nations shall come and say, Come, and let vs goe vp to the Mountaine of the Lord, and to the House of the God of Iaakob, and hee will teache vs his wayes, and we wil walke in his pathes: for the Lawe shall goe forth of Zion, and the worde of the Lord from Ierusalem.BSBBSB: And many nations will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4. 3GNVAnd he shall iudge among many people, and rebuke mightie nations a farre off, and they shall breake their swordes into mattockes, and their speares into sithes: nation shall not lift vp a sword against nation, neither shall they learne to fight any more.BSBBSB: Then He will judge between many peoples and arbitrate for strong nations far and wide. Then they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor will they train anymore for war.
5. 4GNVBut they shall sit euery man vnder his vine, and vnder his figge tree, and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hostes hath spoken it.BSBBSB: And each man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, with no one to frighten him. For the mouth of the LORD of Hosts has spoken.
6. 5GNVFor all people will walke euery one in the name of his God, and we will walke in the Name of the Lord our God, for euer and euer.BSBBSB: Though all the nations may walk in the name of their gods, yet we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.

7. The Restoration of Zion

   (Zechariah 8:1–23)

8. 6GNVAt the same day, saith the Lord, will I gather her that halteth, and I will gather her that is cast out, and her that I haue afflicted.BSBBSB: “On that day,” declares the LORD, “I will gather the lame; I will assemble the outcast, even those whom I have afflicted.
9. 7GNVAnd I will make her that halted, a remnant, and her that was cast farre off, a mightie nation: and the Lord shall reigne ouer them in Mount Zion, from hence forth euen for euer.BSBBSB: And I will make the lame into a remnant, the outcast into a strong nation. Then the LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.
10. 8GNVAnd thou, O towre of the flock, the strong holde of the daughter Zion, vnto thee shall it come, euen the first dominion, and kingdome shall come to the daughter Ierusalem.BSBBSB: And you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion—the former dominion will be restored to you; sovereignty will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem.”
11. 9GNVNowe why doest thou crie out with lamentation? is there no King in thee? is thy counseller perished? for sorowe hath taken thee, as a woman in trauaile.BSBBSB: Why do you now cry aloud? Is there no king among you? Has your counselor perished so that anguish grips you like a woman in labor?
12. 10GNVSorow and mourne, O daughter Zion, like a woman in trauaile: for nowe shalt thou goe foorth of the citie, and dwel in the field, and shalt goe into Babel, but there shalt thou be deliuered: there the Lord shall redeeme thee from the hand of thine enemies.BSBBSB: Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor. For now you will leave the city and camp in the open fields. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued; there the LORD will redeem you from the hand of your enemies!
13. 11GNVNowe also many nations are gathered against thee, saying, Zion shalbe condemned and our eye shall looke vpon Zion.BSBBSB: But now many nations have assembled against you, saying, “Let her be defiled, and let us feast our eyes on Zion.”
14. 12GNVBut they knowe not the thoughtes of the Lord: they vnderstand not his counsell, for he shall gather them as the sheaues in the barne.BSBBSB: But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD or understand His plan, for He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
15. 13GNVArise, and thresh, O daughter Zion: for I will make thine horne yron, and I will make thine hooues brasse, and thou shalt breake in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their riches vnto the Lord, and their substance vnto the ruler of the whole worlde.BSBBSB: Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron and hooves of bronze to break to pieces many peoples. Then you will devote their gain to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
