1. 1GOFEእስራኤለ አሳይ፥ “ሃይተ! አነ ጎዳኮ ስሞስ። እ ኑና መንረꬅስ፥ ሽን እ ኑና ኮላና፤ እ ኑና ማዱንፅስስ፥ ሽን እ ኑ ማዱንꬃ ቃቻና።BSBBSB: Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us to pieces, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bind up our wounds.
2. 2GOFEናምኡ ጋላሳፐ ጉየ እ ኑና ፓꬃና፤ ሄꬓንꬆ ጋላሳን ኑ እያ ስንꬃን ዳና መላ ኑና ደንꬃና።BSBBSB: After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence.
3. 3GOFEአነ ጎዳ ኤሮስ፤ እያ ኤራናዉ ምንꬅድ ካሎስ። ፃልቀይ ዶለይሳዳ እ ቆንጫና፤ ቶርቸ እር የይሳዳ እ ኑኮ ያና” ያግዶሶና።BSBBSB: So let us know—let us press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the earth.
4. 4GOFEጎዳይ፥ “ታ ህንተና ኤፍሬማ አሳ ዋቶ? ታ ህንተና ይሁዳ አሳ ዋቶ? ህንተ ሲቆይ ዎንታ ፃሳ መላ፤ ኤለስድ ꬋይያ አካ መላ።BSBBSB: What shall I do with you, O Ephraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? For your loyalty is like a morning mist, like the early dew that vanishes.
5. 5GOFEሄሳ ግሾ፥ ታኒ ናበታ ባጋራ ህንተና ቃንፀረꬃስ፤ ታ ዶናፐ ከይዳ ቃላን ህንተና ዎꬋስ። ታ ፕርዳይ ህንተ ቦላ ፖኦዳ ዋጋግ ጋና።BSBBSB: Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth, and My judgments go forth like lightning.
6. 6GOFEታ ያርሾ ግዶናሽን ማሮታ ኮያይስ፤ ፁሳ ያርሾ ግዶናሽን ፆሳ ኤሮ ኮያይስ።BSBBSB: For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.
7. 7GOFE“ሽን ኤንቲ አዳመዳ፥ ጫቆ መንꬅዶሶና፤ ያን ታዉ አማነቶና እፅዶሶና።BSBBSB: But they, like Adam, have transgressed the covenant; there they were unfaithful to Me.
8. 8GOFEጋላዳ ካታማይ ሱꬅ ጉክያ ኢታ ኦሶ ኦꬅያ አሳይ ኩምዳ ካታማ።BSBBSB: Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with footprints of blood.
9. 9GOFEፓንጋት አሰ ዎꬋናዉ ቆሰትድ ናገይሳዳ ካህነታ ጩጋይ ሄሳዳ ናጎሶና። ሴከማ ካታማ ኤፍያ ኦግያን ናግድ አሰ ዎꬎኦሶና፤ ኤንቲ ዬላያ ዎራንꬖ ኦሶ ኦꬆሶና።BSBBSB: Like raiders who lie in ambush, so does a band of priests; they murder on the way to Shechem; surely they have committed atrocities.
10. 10GOFEታኒ እስራኤለ አሳ ግዶን ዳጋንꬅያባ በአስ። ኤፍሬማ ግዶን ላይማተꬅ ደኤስ፤ እስራኤለይ ቱንስ።BSBBSB: In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing: Ephraim practices prostitution there, and Israel is defiled.
11. 11GOFE“ይሁዳ፥ ታኒ ታ አሳ ድኡዋ ዛርያ ዎደ ነዉ ቃስ ጫካ ዎደ ጊግሳስ።BSBBSB: Also for you, O Judah, a harvest is appointed, when I restore My people from captivity.
