1. 1GOFEታና አየ! ታኒ ቴራ አይፈይ ማፀትድ ዉርን፥ ዎይንያፐነ ባላሰ ምꬃፈ ባ አሞትዳይሳ ደማናዉ ዳንዳእቦና ኮሻትዳ ኡራ መላ ግዳስ።BSBBSB: Woe is me! For I am like one gathering summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster to eat, no early fig that I crave.
2. 2GOFEፆሳ አስ ቢታን ባዋ፤ አሳ ጋርሳን ሱረ አስ ꬋይስ። አስ ኡባይ አሳ ሱꬅ ጉሳናዉ ሆክድ ናጌስ፤ ኡባይ ባ እሻ ግተን ኦይካናዉ ካሌስ።BSBBSB: The godly man has perished from the earth; there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; they hunt one another with a net.
3. 3GOFEኤንታ ናምኡ ኩሸት ኢታባ ኦꬃናዉ ሎህዶሶና። ሀላቅነ ዳይን ዎꬋፈ ኦይቾሶና፤ ዎልቃራ ደእያ አሳት ባንታ ኮይዳባ ዎልቃን ፖልሶሶና። ኤንቲ ኡባይ እስፈ ፕርዳ ምርቅድ ꬋይሶሶና።BSBBSB: Both hands are skilled at evil; the prince and the judge demand a bribe. When the powerful utters his evil desire, they all conspire together.
4. 4GOFEኤንታ ጋርሳን ኬሀ ጌተተይስ አጉንꬃ መላ፤ ሱረ ጌተተይስ ክንቾተ መላ። ጎዳይ ናበታ ባጋራ ኦድዳይሳዳ እ ባ አሳ ሴራና ጋላሳይ ጋክስ፤ ኤንቲ ያርካና ዎደይ ሀእ ማትስ።BSBBSB: The best of them is like a brier; the most upright is sharper than a hedge of thorns. The day for your watchmen has come, the day of your visitation. Now is the time of their confusion.
5. 5GOFEነ ሾሩዋ አማኖፓ፤ ነ ላግያን አማነቶፋ። ኔራ ደእያ ነ ማቸፈ ነ ዶና ናጋ።BSBBSB: Do not rely on a friend; do not trust in a companion. Seal the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms.
6. 6GOFEሄ ዎደ ናአይ ባ አዋ ካꬌስ፤ ናእያ ባ አየ ቦላ፥ ናኣ ማችያ ባ አዝና አየ ቦላ ሞርከተꬃን ደንዳና። አሳስ እያ ሶ አሳይ ሞርከ ግዳና።BSBBSB: For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
7. 7GOFEሽን ታኒ ኡፋይሳን ጎዳ ፄላና፤ ታና አሽያ ፆሳ ናጋና፤ ታ ፆሳይ ታና ስአና።BSBBSB: But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
8. 8GOFEታ ሞርክያዉ፥ ታ መቱዋን ኡፋይቶፋ፤ ታኒ ኩንድኮካ ደንዳና፤ ታ ꬉማን ኡትኮካ ጎዳይ ታዉ ፖአና።BSBBSB: Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will arise; though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.
9. 9GOFEታኒ ጎዳ ናቃስ፤ እ ታዉ ሞተትድ፥ ታባ ፕርዳና ጋካናዉ፥ ታኒ እያ ሀንቁዋ ዳንዳአና። እ ታና ፖኦን ከሳና፤ ታኒ እያ ፅሎ ፕርዳ በአና።BSBBSB: Because I have sinned against Him, I must endure the rage of the LORD, until He argues my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me into the light; I will see His righteousness.
10. 10GOFEሄ ዎደ ታ ሞርከይ ሄሳ በአና፤ ታኮ፥ “ጎዳይ ነ ፆሳይ አዉን ደኢ?” ያግድ ቀልቅስዳይ ዬላ ማአና። እ ኦገን ደእያ ኡርቃዳ የትን፥ ታኒ ታ አይፈን በአና።BSBBSB: Then my enemy will see and will be covered with shame—she who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will see her; at that time she will be trampled like mud in the streets.
11. 11GOFEህንተኖ፥ እስራኤለ አሳዉ፥ ህንተ ካታማ ግምበ ድርሳት ድረትያ ጋላሳይ ያና፤ ሄ ጋላስ ህንተ ዛዋይ አካና።BSBBSB: The day for rebuilding your walls will come—the day for extending your boundary.
12. 12GOFEሄ ጋላስ ህንተ አሳይ ህንተኮ ስማና። ኤንቲ አሶረፐ፥ ግብፀፈ፥ ኤፍራፂሳ ሻፋ ሄራን ደእያ ቢታታፐ፥ ሃሆ በሳን ደእያ አባ ጋፃፐነ ꬎቃ ዙማታፐ ህንተኮ ስማና።BSBBSB: On that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, even from Egypt to the Euphrates, from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
13. 13GOFEሽን ቢታይ እያ ቦላ ደእያ አሳ ኢታተꬃ ጋሶን አስ ባይና ባይሳ ግዳና።BSBBSB: Then the earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants, as the fruit of their deeds.
14. 14GOFEኔኒ ባዞን ባርካ ደእያ፥ ነ ላታ ደርያ ነ አራዳ ቢታን ነ አሳ ሄማ። ኤንቲ ካሰ ዎድያዳ ባሳነንነ ጋላዳን ሄመታና መላ ኦꬃ።BSBBSB: Shepherd with Your staff Your people, the flock of Your inheritance. They live alone in a woodland, surrounded by pastures. Let them graze in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
15. 15GOFEጎዳይ፥ “ህንተ ግብፀፐ ከይዳ ዎድያዳ ታኒ ህንተና ማላልስያባ በሳና” ያጌስ።BSBBSB: As in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show My wonders.
16. 16GOFEኤንታ ዎልቃይ ግታ ግድኮካ፥ ካዎተꬃት ኡባይ ሄሳ በእድ ዬላታና። ኤንቲ ዬላትድ፥ ባንታ ዶና ኦይካና፤ ኤንታ ሀይꬃይ ቱላና።BSBBSB: Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their might. They will put their hands over their mouths, and their ears will become deaf.
17. 17GOFEኤንቲ ሾሻዳነ ሳአራ ጎሸትያ መተꬃታዳ ቢታ ላጫና። ኤንቲ ባንታ ሚፃፐ ኮኮርሸ ከይድ ግታ ዳጋማን ጎዳኮ፥ ኑ ፆሳኮ፥ ስማና፤ ኤንቲ ጎዳ ያይድ ዳና።BSBBSB: They will lick the dust like a snake, like reptiles slithering on the ground. They will come trembling from their strongholds in the presence of the LORD our God; they will tremble in fear of You.
18. 18GOFEናጋራ ኡባ አቶ ያገይ፥ አትዳ ባ አሳ ናቁዋ ታይቦናይ ነ መላ ፆሲ ኦኔ? ማሮተꬅ ነና ኡፋይስያ ግሾ ነ ሀንቁዋን መርናዉ ጋምአ ኤራካ።BSBBSB: Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes over the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance—who does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in loving devotion?
19. 19GOFEኔኒ ዛራዳ ነ አሳስ ቃታሳ፤ ኑ ናቁዋ ነ ቶሁዋን የꬋሳ፤ ኑ ናጋራ አባ ጪሞን ሆላሳ።BSBBSB: He will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast out all our sins into the depths of the sea.
20. 20GOFEኔኒ በን ኑ ማይዛታስ ጫቅዳ ጫቁዋዳ አብራሃመነ ያይቆባ ዛረ ግድዳ ነ አሳስ ነ አማነተꬃነ ነ መርና ሲቁዋ በሳና።BSBBSB: You will show faithfulness to Jacob and loving devotion to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers from the days of old.
