2Niqodimoosi qamma Yesuusako yidi, “Astamaariyaw, neeni Xoossay kiitida astamaare gideysa nuuni eroos. 4Niqodimoosi, “Ceega asi waanidi zaari yeletanaw danda7ii? Ba aaye ulo simmi gelidi zaari yeletanaw danda7ii?” yaagis.“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time to be born?”

12Taani hintew sa7aba odin hinte ammanonnaba gidiko saloba odin waatidi ammananee?If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?

13Salope wodhida Asa Na7aape attishin, salo keyday oonika baawa; salon de7iya Asa Na7ay tana” yaagis.No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man.

17Xoossay ba Na7aa ha alamiya kiittiday alamiya pirdanaw gidonashin alamiya iya baggara ashshanaasa.For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

18Na7aa ammaniya oonika pirdetenna, shin Na7aa ammanonna oonika issi Xoossaa Na7aa ammanibona gisho ha77i pirdetis.Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

19Pirdayka haysa: poo7oy alamiya yis, shin asaa oosoy iita gidiya gisho asay poo7uwape aathidi dhumaa dosees.And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.

20Iitabaa oothiya oonika poo7o ixees. Ayis giiko, ba oosoy qonconna mela poo7uwako yeenna.Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

21Shin tuma oothiya oonika Xoossay kiitidaysada I oothidaysa poo7oy qoncisana mela poo7uwako yees.But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God.”

35Aaway ba Na7aa dosidi ubbaba iya kushen wothis.The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands.

36Na7aa ammaniya uraas merinaa de7oy de7ees. Shin Na7aa ammanonaysa bolla Xoossaa hanqoy de7eesipe attishin, I de7o demmenna.Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”
