1. 1LXXΟΥ παραδέξῃ ἀκοὴν ματαίαν. οὐ συγκαταθήσῃ μετὰ τοῦ ἀδίκου γενέσθαι μάρτυς ἄδικος.BSBBSB: “You shall not spread a false report. Do not join the wicked by being a malicious witness.
2. 2LXXοὐκ ἔσῃ μετὰ πλειόνων ἐπὶ κακίᾳ. οὐ προστεθήσῃ μετὰ πλήθους ἐκκλῖναι μετὰ τῶν πλειόνων, ὥστε ἐκκλῖναι κρίσιν.BSBBSB: You shall not follow the crowd in wrongdoing. When you testify in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd.
3. 3LXXκαὶ πένητα οὐκ ἐλεήσεις ἐν κρίσει.BSBBSB: And do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.
4. 4LXXἐὰν δὲ συναντήσῃς τῷ βοΐ τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου ἢ τῷ ὑποζυγίῳ αὐτοῦ πλανωμένοις, ἀποστρέψας ἀποδώσεις αὐτῷ.BSBBSB: If you encounter your enemy’s stray ox or donkey, you must return it to him.
5. 5LXXἐὰν δὲ ἴδῃς τὸ ὑποζύγιον τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου πεπτωκὸς ὑπὸ τὸν γόνον αὐτοῦ, οὐ παρελεύσῃ αὐτό, ἀλλὰ συναρεῖς αὐτὸ μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ.BSBBSB: If you see the donkey of one who hates you fallen under its load, do not leave it there; you must help him with it.
6. 6LXXοὐ διαστρέψεις κρίμα πένητος ἐν κρίσει αὐτοῦ.BSBBSB: You shall not deny justice to the poor in their lawsuits.
7. 7LXXἀπὸ παντὸς ρήματος ἀδίκου ἀποστήσῃ· ἀθῷον καὶ δίκαιον οὐκ ἀποκτενεῖς καὶ οὐ δικαιώσεις τὸν ἀσεβῆ ἕνεκεν δώρων.BSBBSB: Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.
8. 8LXXκαὶ δῶρα οὐ λήψῃ· τὰ γὰρ δῶρα ἐκτυφλοῖ ὀφθαλμοὺς βλεπόντων καὶ λυμαίνεται ρήματα δίκαια.BSBBSB: Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.
9. 9LXXκαὶ προσήλυτον οὐ θλίψετε· ὑμεῖς γὰρ οἴδατε τὴν ψυχὴν τοῦ προσηλύτου· αὐτοὶ γὰρ προσήλυτοι ἦτε ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ.BSBBSB: Do not oppress a foreign resident, since you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
10. 10LXXἛξ ἔτη σπερεῖς τὴν γῆν σου καὶ συνάξεις τὰ γεννήματα αὐτῆς·BSBBSB: For six years you are to sow your land and gather its produce,
11. 11LXXτῷ δὲ ἑβδόμῳ ἄφεσιν ποιήσεις καὶ ἀνήσεις αὐτήν, καὶ ἔδονται οἱ πτωχοὶ τοῦ ἔθνους σου, τὰ δὲ ὑπολειπόμενα ἔδεται τὰ ἄγρια θηρία. οὕτω ποιήσεις τὸν ἀμπελῶνά σου καὶ τὸν ἐλαιῶνά σου.BSBBSB: but in the seventh year you must let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor among your people may eat from the field and the wild animals may consume what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and olive grove.
12. 12LXXἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις τὰ ἔργα σου, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἀνάπαυσις, ἵνα ἀναπαύσηται ὁ βοῦς σου καὶ τὸ ὑποζύγιόν σου, καὶ ἵνα ἀναψύξῃ ὁ υἱὸς τῆς παιδίσκης σου καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος.BSBBSB: For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you must cease, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the son of your maidservant may be refreshed, as well as the foreign resident.
13. 13LXXπάντα, ὅσα εἴρηκα πρὸς ὑμᾶς, φυλάξασθε. Καὶ ὄνομα θεῶν ἑτέρων οὐκ ἀναμνησθήσεσθε, οὐδὲ μὴ ἀκουσθῇ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν.BSBBSB: Pay close attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips.
14. 14LXXτρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἑορτάσατέ μοι.BSBBSB: Three times a year you are to celebrate a feast to Me.
15. 15LXXτὴν ἑορτὴν τῶν ἀζύμων φυλάξασθε ποιεῖν· ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔδεσθε ἄζυμα, καθάπερ ἐνετειλάμην σοι, κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν τοῦ μηνὸς τῶν νέων· ἐν γὰρ αὐτῷ ἐξῆλθες ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, οὐκ ὀφθήσῃ ἐνώπιόν μου κενός.BSBBSB: You are to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread as I commanded you: At the appointed time in the month of Abib you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days, because that was the month you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before Me empty-handed.
16. 16LXXκαὶ ἑορτὴν θερισμοῦ πρωτογεννημάτων ποιήσεις τῶν ἔργων σου, ὧν ἐὰν σπείρῃς ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ σου, καὶ ἑορτὴν συντελείας ἐπ᾿ ἐξόδου τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ τῶν ἔργων σου τῶν ἐκ τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου.BSBBSB: You are also to keep the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits of the produce from what you sow in the field. And keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.
17. 17LXXτρεῖς καιροὺς τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ ὀφθήσεται πᾶν ἀρσενικόν σου ἐνώπιον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ σου.BSBBSB: Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD.
18. 18LXXὅταν γὰρ ἐκβάλω τὰ ἔθνη ἀπὸ προσώπου σου καὶ ἐμπλατύνω τὰ ὅριά σου, οὐ θύσεις ἐπὶ ζύμῃ αἷμα θυσιάσματός μου, οὐ δὲ μὴ κοιμηθῇ στέαρ τῆς ἑορτῆς μου ἕως πρωΐ.BSBBSB: You must not offer the blood of My sacrifices with anything leavened, nor may the fat of My feast remain until morning.
19. 19LXXτὰς ἀπαρχὰς τῶν πρωτογεννημάτων τῆς γῆς σου εἰσοίσεις εἰς τὸν οἶκον Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ σου. οὐχ ἑψήσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ.BSBBSB: Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
20. 20LXXΚαὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ἵνα φυλάξῃ σε ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ, ὅπως εἰσαγάγῃ σε εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ἡτοίμασά σοι.BSBBSB: Behold, I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
21. 21LXXπρόσεχε σεαυτῷ καὶ εἰσάκουε αὐτοῦ καὶ μὴ ἀπείθει αὐτῷ· οὐ γὰρ μὴ ὑποστείληταί σε, τὸ γὰρ ὄνομά μού ἐστιν ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ.BSBBSB: Pay attention to him and listen to his voice; do not defy him, for he will not forgive rebellion, since My Name is in him.
22. 22LXXἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσητε τῆς ἐμῆς φωνῆς καὶ ποιήσῃς πάντα, ὅσα ἂν ἐντείλωμαί σοι, καὶ φυλάξητε τὴν διαθήκην μου, ἔσεσθέ μοι λαὸς περιούσιος ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν· ἐμὴ γάρ ἐστι πᾶσα ἡ γῆ, ὑμεῖς δὲ ἔσεσθέ μοι βασίλειον ἱεράτευμα καὶ ἔθνος ἅγιον. ταῦτα τὰ ρήματα ἐρεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ· ἐὰν ἀκοῇ ἀκούσητε τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ ποιήσητε πάντα ὅσα ἂν εἴπω σοι, ἐχθρεύσω τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου καὶ ἀντικείσομαι τοῖς ἀντικειμένοις σοι·BSBBSB: But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
23. 23LXXπορεύσεται γὰρ ὁ ἄγγελός μου ἡγούμενός σου καὶ εἰσάξει σε πρὸς τὸν Ἀμορραῖον καὶ Χετταῖον καὶ Φερεζαῖον καὶ Χαναναῖον καὶ Γεργεσαῖον καὶ Εὐαῖον καὶ Ἰεβουσαῖον, καὶ ἐκτρίψω αὐτούς.BSBBSB: For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will annihilate them.
24. 24LXXοὐ προσκυνήσεις τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, οὐ δὲ μὴ λατρεύσῃς αὐτοῖς· οὐ ποιήσεις κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν, ἀλλὰ καθαιρέσει καθελεῖς καὶ συντρίβων συντρίψεις τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: You must not bow down to their gods or serve them or follow their practices. Instead, you are to demolish them and smash their sacred stones to pieces.
25. 25LXXκαὶ λατρεύσεις Κυρίῳ τῷ Θεῷ σου, καὶ εὐλογήσω τὸν ἄρτον σου καὶ τὸν οἶνόν σου καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ σου, καὶ ἀποστρέψω μαλακίαν ἀφ᾿ ὑμῶν.BSBBSB: So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you.
26. 26LXXοὐκ ἔσται ἄγονος οὐδὲ στείρα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς σου· τὸν ἀριθμὸν τῶν ἡμερῶν σου ἀναπληρῶν ἀναπληρώσω.BSBBSB: No woman in your land will miscarry or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days.
27. 27LXXκαὶ τὸν φόβον ἀποστελῶ ἡγούμενόν σου καὶ ἐκστήσω πάντα τά ἔθνη, εἰς οὓς σὺ εἰσπορεύῃ εἰς αὐτούς, καὶ δώσω πάντας τούς ὑπεναντίους σου φυγάδας.BSBBSB: I will send My terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn and run.
28. 28LXXκαὶ ἀποστελῶ τὰς σφηκίας προτέρας σου, καὶ ἐκβαλεῖς τοὺς Ἀμορραίους καὶ τοὺς Εὐαίους καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Χετταίους ἀπό σοῦ.BSBBSB: I will send the hornet before you to drive the Hivites and Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.
29. 29LXXοὐκ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἐν ἐνιαυτῷ ἑνί, ἵνα μὴ γένηται ἡ γῆ ἔρημος καὶ πολλὰ γένηται ἐπὶ σὲ τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς.BSBBSB: I will not drive them out before you in a single year; otherwise the land would become desolate and wild animals would multiply against you.
30. 30LXXκατὰ μικρὸν ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ, ἕως ἂν αὐξηθῇς καὶ κληρονομήσῃς τὴν γῆν.BSBBSB: Little by little I will drive them out ahead of you, until you become fruitful and possess the land.
31. 31LXXκαὶ θήσω τὰ ὅριά σου ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρυθρᾶς θαλάσσης, ἕως τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς Φυλιστιεὶμ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρήμου ἕως τοῦ μεγάλου ποταμοῦ Εὐφράτου· καὶ παραδώσω εἰς τὰς χεῖρας ὑμῶν τοὺς ἐγκαθημένους ἐν τῇ γῇ καὶ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ σοῦ.BSBBSB: And I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the Euphrates. For I will deliver the inhabitants into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.
32. 32LXXοὐ συγκαταθήσῃ αὐτοῖς καὶ τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν διαθήκην,BSBBSB: You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
33. 33LXXκαὶ οὐκ ἐγκαθήσονται ἐν τῇ γῇ σου, ἵνα μὴ ἁμαρτεῖν σε ποιήσωσι πρός με· ἐὰν γὰρ δουλεύσῃς τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, οὗτοι ἔσονταί σοι πρόσκομμα.BSBBSB: They must not remain in your land, lest they cause you to sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
