1. 1LXXΚΑΙ ἤγαγέ με ἐπὶ τὴν πύλην τὴν βλέπουσαν κατὰ ἀνατολὰς καὶ ἐξήγαγέ με,BSBBSB: Then the man brought me back to the gate that faces east,
2. 2LXXκαὶ ἰδοὺ δόξα Θεοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ἤρχετο κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς πύλης τῆς βλεπούσης πρὸς ἀνατολάς, καὶ φωνὴ τῆς παρεμβολῆς ὡς φωνὴ διπλασιαζόντων πολλῶν, καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐξέλαμπεν ὡς φέγγος ἀπὸ τῆς δόξης κυκλόθεν.BSBBSB: and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of many waters, and the earth shone with His glory.
3. 3LXXκαὶ ἡ ὅρασις, ἣν εἶδον, κατὰ τὴν ὅρασιν, ἣν εἶδον ὅτε εἰσεπορευόμην τοῦ χρῖσαι τὴν πόλιν, καὶ ἡ ὅρασις τοῦ ἅρματος, οὗ εἶδον, κατὰ τὴν ὅρασιν, ἣν εἶδον ἐπὶ τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ Χοβάρ· καὶ πίπτω ἐπὶ πρόσωπόν μου.BSBBSB: The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when He came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the River Kebar. I fell facedown,
4. 4LXXκαὶ δόξα Κυρίου εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς πύλης τῆς βλεπούσης κατὰ ἀνατολάς.BSBBSB: and the glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.
5. 5LXXκαὶ ἀνέλαβέ με πνεῦμα καὶ εἰσήγαγέ με εἰς τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἐσωτέραν, καὶ ἰδοὺ πλήρης δόξης Κυρίου ὁ οἶκος.BSBBSB: Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
6. 6LXXκαὶ ἔστην, καὶ ἰδοὺ φωνὴ ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου λαλοῦντος πρός με, καὶ ὁ ἀνὴρ εἱστήκει ἐχόμενός μου.BSBBSB: While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple,
7. 7LXXκαὶ εἶπε πρός με· υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, ἑώρακας τὸν τόπον τοῦ θρόνου μου καὶ τὸν τόπον τοῦ ἴχνους τῶν ποδῶν μου, ἐν οἷς κατασκηνώσει τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν μέσῳ οἴκου Ἰσραὴλ τὸν αἰῶνα· καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσουσιν οὐκέτι οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν μου, αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἡγούμενοι αὐτῶν, ἐν τῇ πορνείᾳ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς φόνοις τῶν ἡγουμένων ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν,BSBBSB: and He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile My holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and by the funeral offerings for their kings at their deaths.
8. 8LXXἐν τῷ τιθέναι αὐτοὺς τὸ πρόθυρόν μου ἐν τοῖς προθύροις αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς φλιάς μου ἐχομένας τῶν φλιῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔδωκαν τὸν τοῖχόν μου ὡς συνεχόμενον ἐμοῦ καὶ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐβεβήλωσαν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν μου ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν, αἷς ἐποίουν· καὶ ἐξέτριψα αὐτοὺς ἐν θυμῷ μου καὶ ἐν φόνῳ.BSBBSB: When they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, they defiled My holy name by the abominations they committed. Therefore I have consumed them in My anger.
9. 9LXXκαὶ νῦν ἀπωσάσθωσαν τὴν πορνείαν αὐτῶν καὶ τοὺς φόνους τῶν ἡγουμένων αὐτῶν ἀπ' ἐμοῦ, καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν τὸν αἰῶνα.BSBBSB: Now let them remove far from Me their prostitution and the funeral offerings for their kings, and I will dwell among them forever.
10. 10LXXκαὶ σύ, υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, δεῖξον τῷ οἴκῳ Ἰσραὴλ τὸν οἶκον, καὶ κοπάσουσιν ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν· καὶ τὴν ὅρασιν αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν διάταξιν αὐτοῦ,BSBBSB: As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. Let them measure the plan,
11. 11LXXκαὶ αὐτοὶ λήψονται τὴν κόλασιν αὐτῶν περὶ πάντων, ὧν ἐποίησαν. καὶ διαγράψεις τὸν οἶκον καὶ τὰς ἐξόδους αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν ὑπόστασιν αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα τά προστάγματα αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα τὰ νόμιμα αὐτοῦ γνωριεῖς αὐτοῖς καὶ διαγράψεις ἐναντίον αὐτῶν, καὶ φυλάξονται πάντα τὰ δικαιώματά μου καὶ πάντα τὰ προστάγματά μου καὶ ποιήσουσιν αὐτά·BSBBSB: and if they are ashamed of all they have done, then make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement and its exits and entrances—its whole design along with all its statutes, forms, and laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its complete design and all its statutes and may carry them out.
12. 12LXXκαὶ τὴν διαγραφὴν τοῦ οἴκου ἐπὶ τῆς κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους, πάντα τὰ ὅρια αὐτοῦ κυκλόθεν ἅγια ἁγίων.BSBBSB: This is the law of the temple: All its surrounding territory on top of the mountain will be most holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.
13. 13LXXΚαὶ ταῦτα τὰ μέτρα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἐν πήχει τοῦ πήχεως καὶ παλαιστῆς· κόλπωμα βάθους ἐπὶ πῆχυν καὶ πῆχυς τὸ εὖρος, καὶ γεῖσος ἐπὶ τὸ χεῖλος αὐτοῦ κυκλόθεν σπιθαμῆς. καὶ τοῦτο τὸ ὕψος τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου·BSBBSB: These are the measurements of the altar in long cubits (a cubit and a handbreadth): Its gutter shall be a cubit deep and a cubit wide, with a rim of one span around its edge. And this is the height of the altar:
14. 14LXXἐκ βάθους τῆς ἀρχῆς τοῦ κοιλώματος αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸ ἱλαστήριον τὸ μέγα τὸ ὑποκάτωθεν πηχῶν δύο καὶ τὸ εὖρος πήχεως· καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου τοῦ μικροῦ ἐπὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον τὸ μέγα πήχεις τέσσαρες καὶ εὖρος πῆχυς·BSBBSB: The space from the gutter on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide. The space from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge shall be four cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide.
15. 15LXXκαὶ τῷ ἀριὴλ πηχῶν τεσσάρων, καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀριὴλ καὶ ὑπεράνω τῶν κεράτων πῆχυς·BSBBSB: The altar hearth shall be four cubits high, and four horns shall project upward from the hearth.
16. 16LXXκαὶ τὸ ἀριὴλ πηχῶν δώδεκα μήκους ἐπὶ πήχεις δώδεκα πλάτους, τετράγωνον ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσαρα μέρη αὐτοῦ.BSBBSB: The altar hearth shall be square at its four corners, twelve cubits long and twelve cubits wide.
17. 17LXXκαὶ τὸ ἱλαστήριον πηχῶν δεκατεσσάρων τὸ μῆκος ἐπὶ πήχεις δεκατέσσαρας τὸ εὖρος ἐπὶ τέσσαρα μέρη αὐτοῦ· καὶ τὸ γεῖσος αὐτῷ κυκλόθεν κυκλούμενον αὐτῷ. ἥμισυ πήχεως, καὶ τὸ κύκλωμα αὐτοῦ πῆχυς κυκλόθεν· καὶ οἱ κλιμακτῆρες αὐτοῦ βλέποντες κατὰ ἀνατολάς.BSBBSB: The ledge shall also be square, fourteen cubits long and fourteen cubits wide, with a rim of half a cubit and a gutter of a cubit all around it. The steps of the altar shall face east.”
18. 18LXXκαὶ εἶπε πρός με· υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, τάδε λέγει Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς Ἰσραήλ· ταῦτα τὰ προστάγματα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ποιήσεως αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἀναφέρειν ἐπ' αὐτοῦ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ προσχέειν πρὸς αὐτὸ αἷμα.BSBBSB: Then He said to me: “Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be splattered on it:
19. 19LXXκαὶ δώσεις τοῖς ἱερεῦσι τοῖς Λευίταις τοῖς ἐκ τοῦ σπέρματος Σαδδοὺκ τοῖς ἐγγίζουσι πρός με, λέγει Κύριος ὁ Θεός, τοῦ λειτουργεῖν μοι, μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας·BSBBSB: You are to give a young bull from the herd as a sin offering to the Levitical priests who are of the family of Zadok, who approach Me to minister before Me, declares the Lord GOD.
20. 20LXXκαὶ λήψονται ἐκ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ἐπὶ τὰ τέσσαρα κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς τέσσαρας γωνίας τοῦ ἱλαστηρίου καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν κύκλῳ καὶ ἐξιλάσονται αὐτό·BSBBSB: You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and all around the rim; thus you will cleanse the altar and make atonement for it.
21. 21LXXκαὶ λήψονται τὸν μόσχον τὸν περὶ ἁμαρτίας, καὶ κατακαυθήσεται ἐν τῷ ἀποκεχωρισμένῳ τοῦ οἴκου ἔξωθεν τῶν ἁγίων.BSBBSB: Then you are to take away the bull for the sin offering and burn it in the appointed part of the temple area outside the sanctuary.
22. 22LXXκαὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ δευτέρᾳ λήψονται ἐρίφους δύο αἰγῶν ἀμώμους ὑπὲρ ἁμαρτίας καὶ ἐξιλάσονται τὸ θυσιαστήριον καθότι ἐξιλάσαντο ἐν τῷ μόσχῳ·BSBBSB: On the second day you are to present an unblemished male goat as a sin offering, and the altar is to be cleansed as it was with the bull.
23. 23LXXκαὶ μετὰ τὸ συντελέσαι τὸν ἐξιλασμὸν προσοίσουσι μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν ἄμωμον καὶ κριὸν ἐκ προβάτων ἄμωμον,BSBBSB: When you have finished the purification, you are to present a young, unblemished bull and an unblemished ram from the flock.
24. 24LXXκαὶ προσοίσετε ἐναντίον Κυρίου, καὶ ἐπιρρίψουσιν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐπ' αὐτὰ ἅλα καὶ ἀνοίσουσιν αὐτὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ Κυρίῳ.BSBBSB: You must present them before the LORD; the priests are to sprinkle salt on them and sacrifice them as a burnt offering to the LORD.
25. 25LXXἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔριφον ὑπὲρ ἁμαρτίας καθ' ἡμέραν καὶ μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν καὶ κριὸν ἐκ προβάτων, ἄμωμα ποιήσουσινBSBBSB: For seven days you are to provide a male goat daily for a sin offering; you are also to provide a young bull and a ram from the flock, both unblemished.
26. 26LXXἑπτὰ ἡμέρας· καὶ ἐξιλάσονται τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ καθαριοῦσιν αὐτὸ καὶ πλήσουσι χεῖρας αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: For seven days the priests are to make atonement for the altar and cleanse it; so they shall consecrate it.
27. 27LXXκαὶ ἔσται ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας τῆς ὀγδόης καὶ ἐπέκεινα ποιήσουσιν οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου ὑμῶν. καὶ προσδέξομαι ὑμᾶς, λέγει Κύριος.BSBBSB: At the end of these days, from the eighth day on, the priests are to present your burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar. Then I will accept you, declares the Lord GOD.’”
