1. 1GRCBRENTὍτι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις καὶ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ, ὅταν ἐπιστρέψω τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν Ἰούδα καὶ Ἱερουσαλὴμ,BSBBSB: “Yes, in those days and at that time, when I restore Judah and Jerusalem from captivity,
2. 2GRCBRENTκαὶ συνάξω πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, καὶ κατάξω αὐτὰ εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα Ἰωσαφὰτ, καὶ διακριθήσομαι πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ ὑπὲρ τοῦ λαοῦ μου καὶ τῆς κληρονομίας μου Ἰσραὴλ, οἳ διεσπάρησαν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσι, καὶ τὴν γῆν μου κατεδιείλαντο,BSBBSB: I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning My people, My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations as they divided up My land.
3. 3GRCBRENTκαὶ ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου ἔβαλον κλήρους, καὶ ἔδωκαν τὰ παιδάρια πόρναις, καὶ τὰ κοράσια ἐπώλουν ἀντὶ τοῦ οἴνου, καὶ ἔπινον.BSBBSB: They cast lots for My people; they bartered a boy for a prostitute and sold a girl for wine to drink.
4. 4GRCBRENTΚαὶ τί ὑμεῖς ἐμοὶ Τύρος, καὶ Σιδὼν, καὶ πᾶσα Γαλιλαία ἀλλοφύλων; μὴ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμεῖς ἀνταποδίδοτέ μοι; ἢ μνησικακεῖτε ὑμεῖς ἐπʼ ἐμοί; ὀξέως, καὶ ταχέως ἀνταποδώσω τὸ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμῶν εἰς κεφαλὰς ὑμῶν,BSBBSB: Now what do you have against Me, O Tyre, Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you rendering against Me a recompense? If you retaliate against Me, I will swiftly and speedily return your recompense upon your heads.
5. 5GRCBRENTἀνθʼ ὧν τὸ ἀργύριόν μου καὶ τὸ χρυσίον μου ἐλάβετε, καὶ τὰ ἐπίλεκτά μου τὰ καλὰ εἰσηνέγκατε εἰς τοὺς ναοὺς ὑμῶν,BSBBSB: For you took My silver and gold and carried off My finest treasures to your temples.
6. 6GRCBRENTκαὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰούδα καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἀπέδοσθε τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν Ἑλλήνων, ὅπως ἐξώσητε αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, to send them far from their homeland.
7. 7GRCBRENTΚαὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω αὐτοὺς ἐκ τοῦ τόπου οὗ ἀπέδοσθε αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ, καὶ ἀνταποδώσω τὸ ἀνταπόδομα ὑμῶν εἰς κεφαλὰς ὑμῶν,BSBBSB: Behold, I will rouse them from the places to which you sold them; I will return your recompense upon your heads.
8. 8GRCBRENTκαὶ ἀποδώσομαι τοὺς υἱοὺς ὑμῶν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας ὑμῶν εἰς χεῖρας τῶν υἱῶν Ἰούδα, καὶ ἀποδώσονται αὐτοὺς εἰς αἰχμαλωσίαν εἰς ἔθνος μακρὰν ἀπέχον, ὅτι Κύριος ἐλάλησε.BSBBSB: I will sell your sons and daughters into the hands of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans—to a distant nation.” Indeed, the LORD has spoken.
9. 9GRCBRENTΚηρύξατε ταῦτα ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, ἁγιάσατε πόλεμον, ἐξεγείρατε τοὺς μαχητὰς, προσαγάγετε καὶ ἀναβαίνετε πάντες ἄνδρες πολεμισταὶ,BSBBSB: Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war; rouse the mighty men; let all the men of war advance and attack!
10. 10GRCBRENTσυγκόψατε τὰ ἄροτρα ὑμῶν εἰς ῥομφαίας, καὶ τὰ δρέπανα ὑμῶν εἰς σειρομάστας· ὁ ἀδύνατος λεγέτω, ὅτι ἰσχύω ἐγώ.BSBBSB: Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!’
11. 11GRCBRENTΣυναθροίζεσθε, καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθε πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κυκλόθεν, καὶ συνάχθητε ἐκεῖ· ὁ πρᾳῢς ἔστω μαχητής.BSBBSB: Come quickly, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves. Bring down Your mighty ones, O LORD.
12. 12GRCBRENTἘξεγειρέσθωσαν, ἀναβαινέτωσαν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη εἰς τὴν κοιλάδα Ἰωσαφὰτ, διότι ἐκεῖ καθιῶ τοῦ διακρῖναι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη κυκλόθεν.BSBBSB: Let the nations be roused and advance to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit down to judge all the nations on every side.
13. 13GRCBRENTἘξαποστείλατε δρέπανα, ὅτι παρέστηκεν ὁ τρυγητός· εἰσπορεύεσθε, πατεῖτε, διότι πλήρης ἡ ληνός· ὑπερεκχεῖτε τὰ ὑπολήνια, ὅτι πεπλήθυνται τὰ κακὰ αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full; the wine vats overflow because their wickedness is great.
14. 14GRCBRENTἮχοι ἐξήχησαν ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῆς δίκης, ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡμέρα Κυρίου ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῆς δίκης.BSBBSB: Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15. 15GRCBRENTὉ ἥλιος καὶ ἡ σελήνη συσκοτάσουσι, καὶ οἱ ἀστέρες δύσουσι φέγγος αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will no longer shine.
16. 16GRCBRENTὉ δὲ Κύριος ἐκ Σιὼν ἀνακεκράξεται, καὶ ἐξ Ἱερουσαλὴμ δώσει φωνὴν αὐτοῦ, καὶ σεισθήσεται ὁ οὐρανὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ· ὁ δὲ Κύριος φείσεται τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐνισχύσει τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραήλ.BSBBSB: The LORD will roar from Zion and raise His voice from Jerusalem; heaven and earth will tremble. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.
17. 17GRCBRENTΚαὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ὑμῶν, ὁ κατασκηνῶν ἐν Σιὼν ὄρει ἁγίῳ μου· καὶ ἔσται Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἁγία, καὶ ἀλλογενεῖς οὐ διελεύσονται διʼ αὐτῆς οὐκέτι.BSBBSB: Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy, never again to be overrun by foreigners.
18. 18GRCBRENTΚαὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ, ἀποσταλάξει τὰ ὄρη γλυκασμὸν, καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ῥυήσονται γάλα, καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ ἀφέσεις Ἰούδα ῥυήσονται ὕδατα, καὶ πηγὴ ἐξ οἴκου Κυρίου ἐξελεύσεται, καὶ ποτιεῖ τὸν χειμάῤῥουν τῶν σχοίνων.BSBBSB: And in that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the streams of Judah will run with water, and a spring will flow from the house of the LORD to water the Valley of Acacias.
19. 19GRCBRENTΑἴγυπτος εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἔσται, καὶ ἡ Ἰδουμαία εἰς πεδίον ἀφανισμοῦ ἔσται, ἐξ ἀδικιῶν υἱῶν Ἰούδα, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐξέχεαν αἷμα δίκαιον ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν.BSBBSB: Egypt will become desolate, and Edom a desert wasteland, because of the violence done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.
20. 20GRCBRENTἩ δὲ Ἰουδαία εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα κατοικηθήσεται, καὶ Ἱερουσαλὴμ εἰς γενεὰς γενεῶν.BSBBSB: But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21. 21GRCBRENTΚαὶ ἐκζητήσω τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀθωώσω, καὶ Κύριος κατασκηνώσει ἐν Σιών.BSBBSB: For I will avenge their blood, which I have not yet avenged.” For the LORD dwells in Zion.
