2 UDB ત્યાં એક માણસ હતો કે જે જન્મ્યો ત્યારથી ચાલી શકતો ન હતો. તે ભક્તિસ્થાનના પ્રવેશ દ્વારે સુંદર નામના દરવાજા આગળ બેસતો હતો. લોકો દરરોજ તેને ત્યાં લઇ જતા હતા કે જેથી જેઓ ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં જતા હતા તેઓની પાસે તે નાણાં માગી શકે. BSB BSB: And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts.
3 UDB પિતર અને યોહાન મંદિરમાં પ્રવેશતા હતા ત્યારે તે તેઓની પાસે પૈસાની માગણી કરવા લાગ્યો. BSB BSB: When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 UDB જ્યારે પિતરે અને યોહાને તેની તરફ જોયું ત્યારે પિતરે તેને કહ્યું "અમારી તરફ જો!" BSB BSB: Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter.
5 UDB તેથી તેણે પૈસા મળવાની અપેક્ષાએ તેઓની તરફ તાકીને જોયું. BSB BSB: So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 UDB ત્યારે પિતરે તેને કહ્યું, "મારી પાસે પૈસા નથી, પણ હું તારા માટે જે કરી શકું છું તે હું કરીશ. ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત નાઝારીના નામમાં તું સાજો થયો છે. ઊઠીને ચાલ!" BSB BSB: But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
7 UDB પછી પિતરે તે માણસનો જમણો હાથ પકડીને તેને ઊભા થવામાં મદદ કરી. તે જ ક્ષણે તે માણસના પગ અને ઘૂંટીઓમાં તાકાત આવી. BSB BSB: Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong.
8 UDB તે કૂદીને ઉભો થયો અને ચાલવા લાગ્યો! પછી તે ચાલતો અને કૂદતો, ઈશ્વરની સ્તુતિ કરતો પિતર અને યોહાનની સાથે ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં પ્રવેશ્યો! BSB BSB: He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 UDB સર્વ લોકોએ તેને ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં ચાલતો અને ઈશ્વરની સ્તુતિ કરતો જોયો. BSB BSB: When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 UDB તેઓએ જાણ્યું કે ભક્તિસ્થાનના સુંદર નામના દરવાજા આગળ બેસીને જે પૈસા માંગતો હતો તે એ જ માણસ હતો! તેથી જે માણસો ત્યાં હતા તેઓ તેને જે થયું હતું તે જોઈને આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા. BSB BSB: they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 UDB તે માણસ પિતર અને યોહાનને વળગી રહ્યો હતો ત્યારે બધા લોકો આશ્ચર્યચકિત થઈ ગયા અને શું વિચારવું તેની તેમને સમજણ પડી નહિ! તેથી તેઓ ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સુલેમાનની કહેવાતી પરસાળમાં તેઓની પાસે દોડી આવ્યા. BSB BSB: While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.
12 UDB જ્યારે પિતરે લોકોને જોયા, ત્યારે તેણે તેઓને કહ્યું, "સાથી ઇઝરાયલીઓ, આ માણસને જે થયું તેથી તમારે આશ્ચર્ય પામવું ન જોઈએ! જાણે અમે અમારી શક્તિથી આ માણસને ચાલતો કર્યો હોય તેમ અમારી સામે કેમ જુઓ છો? BSB BSB: And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
13 UDB તેથી હું તમને જણાવીશ કે ખરેખર શું બની રહ્યું છે. આપણા પૂર્વજો, ઇબ્રાહિમ, ઇસહાક અને યાકૂબ ઈશ્વરનું ભજન કરતા હતા. અને હવે ઈશ્વરે ઈસુને બહુ મહિમાવાન કર્યા છે. તમારા આગેવાનો ઈસુને રાજ્યપાલ પિલાત પાસે લાવ્યા કે જેથી તેના સૈનિકો તેમને શિક્ષા કરે. પિલાતે ઈસુને છોડી દેવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો ત્યારે તમે જ ઈસુનો નકાર કર્યો હતો. BSB BSB: The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him.
14 UDB જો કે, ઈસુ, ઈશ્વર તરફથી ઇઝરાયલના મસીહ અને ન્યાયી હતા તોપણ તમે તેને બદલે એક ખૂનીને મુક્ત કરવાની માગણી કરી! BSB BSB: You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
15 UDB ઈશ્વરે એ ધ્યાનમાં લીધું છે કે, જે લોકોને અનંતજીવન આપે છે તે ઈસુને તમે મારી નાખ્યા છે. પણ ઈશ્વરે તેમને સજીવન કર્યા છે. તેમના જીવંત થયા પછી અમે ઈસુને ઘણી વખત જોયા છે. BSB BSB: You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.
16 UDB અમે ઈસુ પર વિશ્વાસ કરીએ છીએ અને આ માણસ ઈસુ પર વિશ્વાસ કરે છે તેને કારણે તે ફરીથી શક્તિમાન થઈને તમારી સમક્ષ ચાલતો થયો છે." BSB BSB: By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.
17 UDB હવે મારા સાથી દેશવાસીઓ, તમે અને તમારા આગેવાનોએ ઈસુને મારી નાખ્યા, કારણ કે તમે જાણતા ન હતા કે તેઓ મસીહ હતા. BSB BSB: And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 UDB તથાપિ, ઈશ્વરે અગાઉથી જણાવ્યું હતું કે લોકો ઈસુને મારી નાખશે. ઈશ્વરે સર્વ પ્રબોધકો મારફતે કહાવ્યું હતું કે લોકો મસીહ સાથે કેવું વર્તન કરશે. તેઓએ લખ્યું હતું કે મસીહ કે જેમને ઈશ્વર મોકલશે, તે સહન કરશે અને મરણ પામશે. BSB BSB: But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.
19 UDB તેથી તમારાં પાપી માર્ગથી પાછા ફરો અને ઈશ્વરને જે ગમે છે તે કરવા તેઓ તમને મદદ કરે તેમ જણાવો, કે જેથી તેઓ તમારા સર્વ પાપોની માફી આપે અને તમને બળવાન કરે. BSB BSB: Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
20 UDB જો તમે એમ કરશો તો, એવા સમયો આવશે જ્યારે તમને ખબર પડશે કે ઈશ્વર તમને મદદ કરી રહ્યા છે અને ઈશ્વરે જે મસીહ તમને આપ્યા છે તેઓને ઈશ્વર કોઈક દિવસે ફરી પૃથ્વી પર મોકલશે તે વ્યક્તિ તો ઈસુ છે. BSB BSB: that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.
23 UDB જેઓ તે પ્રબોધકનું નહિ સાંભળે અને તેને આધીન નહિ થાય, તેઓ ઈશ્વરના લોક તરીકે અસ્તિત્વ નહિ ધરાવે, ઈશ્વર તેમનો નાશ કરશે.'" BSB BSB: Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’
24 UDB પિતરે સંદેશ જારી રાખતાં કહ્યું," આ દિવસોમાં શું બનશે તે વિષે બધા પ્રબોધકો એ કહ્યું છે. શમુએલ સહિત તે બધા પ્રબોધકોએ તે ઘટનાઓ બને તે પહેલા તેના વિષે કહ્યું છે. BSB BSB: Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.
25 UDB ઈશ્વરે જ્યારે આપણા પૂર્વજોને ખાતરીપૂર્વક આશીર્વાદ આપવાનું વચન આપ્યું ત્યારે, તેમણે તમને પણ ચોક્કસપણે આશીર્વાદ આપવાનું વચન આપ્યું. તેમણે ઈબ્રાહિમને મસીહ વિષે કહ્યું, 'તમારા વંશજો જે કરશે તેના પરિણામરૂપે, હું પૃથ્વી પરની સર્વ દેશજાતિઓને આશીર્વાદ આપીશ.'" BSB BSB: And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’
26 UDB પિતરે અંતમાં કહ્યું," તેથી જ્યારે ઈશ્વરે ઈસુને મસીહ તરીકે સેવા કરવા પૃથ્વી પર મોકલ્યા, ત્યારે પ્રથમ ઓ ઇઝરાયલીઓ, તેમણે તેમને તમારી પાસે મોકલ્યા કે તેઓ તમને આશિષ આપે કે જેથી જે દુષ્ટતા છે તે કરતા તમે અટકી જાઓ. BSB BSB: When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
