6 ULB તેના પુત્ર શમાયાને પણ પુત્રો હતા તેઓ તેઓના કુટુંબનાં અધિકારીઓ હતા; કેમ કે તેઓ શૂરવીર હતા. BSB BSB: Also to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their families because they were strong, capable men.
7 ULB શમાયાના પુત્રો: ઓથ્ની, રફાએલ, ઓબેદ, અને એલઝાબાદ. તેના ભાઈઓ અલિહૂ અને સમાખ્યા શૂરવીર પુરુષો હતા. BSB BSB: Shemaiah’s sons were Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his brothers were Elihu and Semachiah, also capable men.
8 ULB તેઓ સર્વ ઓબેદ-અદોમના પુત્રો હતા. તેઓ, તેમના પુત્રો અને ભાઈઓ મુલાકાતમંડપ ની સેવાને માટે શૂરવીર અને શક્તિશાળી પુરુષો હતા. ઓબેદ-અદોમના બાસઠ વંશજો હતા. BSB BSB: All these were descendants of Obed-edom; they and their sons and brothers were capable men with strength to do the work—62 in all from Obed-edom.
9 ULB મશેલેમ્યાના પુત્રો અને ભાઈઓ મળી અઢાર શૂરવીર પુરુષો હતા. BSB BSB: Meshelemiah also had sons and brothers who were capable men—18 in all.
10 ULB મરારીના પુત્રોમાંના હોસાનાને પણ પુત્રો હતા. તેઓમાં મુખ્ય શિમ્રી જો કે તે જયેષ્ઠ પુત્ર ન હતો, પણ તેના પિતાએ તેને મુખ્ય ઠરાવ્યો હતો. BSB BSB: Hosah the Merarite also had sons: Shimri the first (although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him as the first),

12 ULB એ મુખ્ય દ્વારપાળોની તેમના આગેવાનો દ્વારા ક્રમવાર ટુકડીઓ પાડવામાં આવી હતી. તેઓને પોતાના ભાઈઓની માફક ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં સેવા કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. BSB BSB: These divisions of the gatekeepers, through their chief men, had duties for ministering in the house of the LORD, just as their relatives did.
13 ULB તેઓએ નાનાએ તેમ જ મોટાએ પોતાના કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે દરેક દરવાજાને માટે ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી. BSB BSB: They cast lots for each gate, according to their families, young and old alike.
14 ULB પૂર્વ તરફની ચિઠ્ઠી શેલેમ્યાની નીકળી. ત્યાર બાદ તેનો પુત્ર ઝખાર્યા જે બુદ્ધિમાન મંત્રી હતો તેને માટે તેઓએ ચિઠ્ઠીઓ નાખી. અને તેની ચિઠ્ઠી ઉત્તર તરફની નીકળી. BSB BSB: The lot for the East Gate fell to Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah, a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him.
15 ULB ઓબેદ-અદોમની દક્ષિણ તરફના દરવાજાની અને તેના પુત્રોની ચીઠ્ઠી ભંડારના દરવાજાની નીકળી. BSB BSB: The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-edom, and the lot for the storehouses to his sons.
16 ULB શુપ્પીમ તથા હોસાની ચિઠ્ઠી પશ્ચિમ તરફના દરવાજાની એટલે ચઢતા ઢોળાવની સડક ઉપર આવેલા શાલ્લેખેથ દરવાજા પાસેની સામસામી બીજી ચોકીના દરવાજાની નીકળી. BSB BSB: The lots for the West Gate and the Shallecheth Gate on the ascending highway fell to Shuppim and Hosah. There were guards stationed at every watch.
17 ULB પૂર્વ તરફના દરવાજે રોજ છ લેવીઓ હાજર રહેતા હતા, તથા ઉત્તર તરફના દરવાજે ચાર, 'દક્ષિણ તરફના દરવાજે ચાર અને દરેક દરવાજાને માટે બબ્બે. BSB BSB: Each day there were six Levites on the east, four on the north, four on the south, and two pairs at the storehouse.
18 ULB પશ્ચિમના દરવાજાની ઓસરી તરફ સડક પર ચાર દ્વારપાળો અને ઓસરી તરફ બે દ્વારપાળો હતા. BSB BSB: As for the court on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the court.
19 ULB કોરાહી તથા મરારીના વંશજોને દ્વારપાળો તરીકેનું કામ વહેંચી આપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. BSB BSB: These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari.
20 ULB લેવીઓ પૈકી અહિયા ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના ભંડારો તથા અર્પિત વસ્તુઓના ભંડાર પર હતો. BSB BSB: Now their fellow Levites were in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries of the dedicated things.
21 ULB લાદાનના વંશજો: ગેર્શોનના કુટુંબમાં મુખ્ય યહીએલી જે તેમનો આગેવાન હતો. BSB BSB: From the descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and heads of the families of Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli,
22 ULB ઝેથામ અને તેનો ભાઈ યોએલ ઈશ્વરના ભક્તિસ્થાનના ભંડારોની સંભાળ રાખતા હતા. BSB BSB: the sons of Jehieli, Zetham, and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries of the house of the LORD.

24 ULB મૂસાના પુત્ર ગેર્શોમનો પુત્ર શબુએલ ભંડારો પર કારભારી હતો. BSB BSB: Shebuel, a descendant of Gershom son of Moses, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.
25 ULB શબુએલનાં ભાઈઓ: એલિએઝેરનો પુત્ર રહાબ્યા, રહાબ્યાનો પુત્ર યશાયા, યશાયાનો પુત્ર યોરામ, યોરામનો પુત્ર ઝિખ્રી, ઝીખ્રીનો પુત્ર શેલોમોથ. BSB BSB: His relatives through Eliezer included Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 ULB આ શલોમોથ અને તેના કુટુંબીઓ પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓના જે સર્વ ભંડારો દાઉદ રાજાએ તેના કુટુંબોના આગેવાનોએ, સહસ્રાધિપતિઓએ શતાધિપતિઓએ સૈન્યના સરદારોએ અર્પણ કર્યાં હતા, તેની જવાબદારી સંભાળતા હતા. BSB BSB: This Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries for the things dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and by the army commanders.
27 ULB તે લોકોએ યુદ્ધ દરમિયાન મળેલી લૂંટમાંનો કેટલોક ભાગ ઈશ્વરનું ભક્તિસ્થાન સમારવા માટે આપ્યો હતો. BSB BSB: They had dedicated some of the plunder from their battles to the repair of the house of the LORD.
28 ULB જે બધું શમુએલ પ્રબોધકે, કીશના પુત્ર શાઉલે, નેરના પુત્ર આબ્નેરે તથા સરુયાના પુત્ર યોઆબે અર્પણ કર્યું હતું. તથા જે કંઈ બીજા કોઈએ અર્પણ કર્યું હતું. તે સાચવવાનું શલોમોથ અને તેના ભાઈઓના હવાલામાં હતું. BSB BSB: Everything that had been dedicated by Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, along with everything else that was dedicated, was under the care of Shelomith and his brothers.
29 ULB ઈસહારીઓના વંશજોમાંથી કનાન્યા અને તેના પુત્રો બહારના કામ માટે ઇઝરાયલ પર અધિકારીઓ તથા ન્યાયાધીશો હતા. BSB BSB: From the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons had the outside duties as officers and judges over Israel.
30 ULB હેબ્રોનીઓમાંના હશાબ્યા તથા તેના ભાઈઓ એક હજાર સાતસો શૂરવીર પુરુષો હતા. તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સર્વ કામ માટે તથા રાજાની સેવાની માટે યર્દન પાર પશ્ચિમ તરફના ઇઝરાયલના અધિકારીઓ હતા. BSB BSB: From the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had charge of the affairs of Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the service of the king.
31 ULB હેબ્રોનીઓના પિતૃઓના વંશજોના કુટુંબીઓમાં મુખ્ય યરિયા આગેવાન હતો. દાઉદની કારકિર્દીના ચાળીસમાં વર્ષમાં તેઓની ચૂંટણી થઈ અને તેઓમાંના કેટલાક પરાક્રમી પુરુષો ગિલ્યાદમાં આવેલા યાઝેરમાં મળી આવ્યા. BSB BSB: As for the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to the genealogies of his ancestors. In the fortieth year of David’s reign the records were searched, and strong, capable men were found among the Hebronites at Jazer in Gilead.
32 ULB યરિયાના ભાઈઓમાં પરાક્રમી પુરુષો તથા તેઓના કુટુંબોના સરદારોની સંખ્યા બે હજાર સાતસો હતી. તેઓને દાઉદ રાજાએ ઈશ્વર સંબંધી પ્રત્યેક બાબતને માટે તથા રાજાના કામ માટે રુબેનીઓ, ગાદીઓ, તથા મનાશ્શાના અર્ધકુળ પર દેખરેખ રાખવાની જવાબદારી સોંપી. BSB BSB: Among Jerijah’s relatives there were 2,700 capable men who were heads of families. King David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
