1 ULB સર્વ ઇઝરાયલની ગણતરી વંશાવળી પ્રમાણે કરવામાં આવી. ઇઝરાયલના રાજાઓના પુસ્તકમાં તેની નોંધ કરવામાં આવેલી છે. યહૂદાને તેના પાપને લીધે કેદી તરીકે બાબિલમાં લઈ જવામાં આવ્યો હતો. BSB BSB: So all Israel was recorded in the genealogies written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. But Judah was exiled to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.
2 ULB હવે પોતપોતાનાં વતનોના નગરોમાં પહેલા રહેવા આવ્યા તે તો ઇઝરાયલીઓ, યાજકો, લેવીઓ, તથા ભક્તિસ્થાનોના સેવકો હતા. BSB BSB: Now the first to resettle their own property in their cities were Israelites, priests, Levites, and temple servants.
3 ULB યહૂદાના, બિન્યામીનના, એફ્રાઇમના તથા મનાશ્શાના વંશજોમાંના જેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા તેઓ આ છે. BSB BSB: Some of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem:
4 ULB યહૂદાના દીકરા પેરેસના વંશજોમાંથી બાનીના દીકરા ઈમ્રીના દીકરા ઓમ્રીના દીકરા આમ્મીહૂદનો દીકરો ઉથાય. BSB BSB: Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.
5 ULB શીલોનીઓમાંથી તેનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો અસાયા તથા તેના દીકરાઓ. BSB BSB: From the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
6 ULB ઝેરાહના વંશજોમાંથી યેઉએલ. તથા કુટુંબીઓ મળીને કુલ છસો નેવું. BSB BSB: From the Zerahites: Jeuel and 690 relatives.
7 ULB બિન્યામીનના વંશજોમાંના હાસ્સેનુઆના દીકરા હોદાવ્યાના દીકરા મશુલ્લામનો દીકરો સાલ્લૂ. BSB BSB: From the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
8 ULB યરોહામનો દીકરો યિબ્નિયા, મિખ્રીના દીકરા ઉઝઝીનો દીકરો એલા, યિબ્નિયાના દીકરા રેઉએલના દીકરા શફાટયાનો દીકરો મશુલ્લામ. BSB BSB: Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
9 ULB તેઓની વંશાવળીઓ પ્રમાણે તેઓના કુટુંબીઓ નવસો છપ્પન. એ સર્વ પુરુષો પોતાના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબોના સરદારો હતા. BSB BSB: and 956 of their relatives according to their genealogy. All these men were heads of their families.
10 ULB યાજકો; યદાયા, યહોયારીબ તથા યાખીન. BSB BSB: From the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, and Jachin;
11 ULB અહિટૂબના દીકરા મરાયોથના દીકરા સાદોકના દીકરા મશુલ્લામના દીકરા હિલ્કિયાનો દીકરો અઝાર્યા ઈશ્વરના ઘરનો કારભારી હતો. BSB BSB: Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the chief official of God’s temple;
12 ULB માલ્કિયાના દીકરા પાશહૂરના દીકરા યરોહામનો દીકરો અદાયા. ઈમ્મેરના દીકરા મશિલ્લેમિથના દીકરા મશુલ્લામના દીકરા યાહઝેરાના દીકરા અદીએલનો દીકરો માસાય. BSB BSB: Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 ULB તેઓના સગાંઓ, પોતાના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો એક હજાર સાતસો સાઠ હતા. તેઓ ઈશ્વરના ઘરની સેવાના કામમાં ઘણાં કુશળ પુરુષો હતા. BSB BSB: and 1,760 of their relatives, the heads of their families, able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 ULB લેવીઓમાંના એટલે મરારીના વંશજોમાંના; હશાબ્યાના દીકરા આઝ્રીકામના દીકરા હાશ્શૂબનો દીકરો શમાયા. BSB BSB: From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a descendant of Merari;
15 ULB બાક-બાક્કાર, હેરેશ તથા ગાલાલ, આસાફના દીકરા ઝિખ્રીના દીકરા મિખાનો દીકરો માત્તાન્યા. BSB BSB: Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
16 ULB યદૂથૂનના દીકરા ગાલાલના દીકરા શમાયાનો દીકરો ઓબાદ્યા, એલ્કાનાના દીકરા આસાનો દીકરો બેરેખ્યા તેઓ નટોફાથીઓના ગામોના રહેવાસી હતા. BSB BSB: Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 ULB દ્વારપાળો; શાલ્લુમ, આક્કુબ, ટાલ્મોન, અહીમાન તથા તેઓના વંશજો. શાલ્લુમ તેઓનો આગેવાન હતો. BSB BSB: These were the gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their relatives. Shallum was their chief;
18 ULB એ સમયે તે શાલ્લુમ રાજાના પૂર્વ તરફના મુખ્ય દરવાજાનો દ્વારપાળ હતો. તેઓ લેવી વંશજોની છાવણીના દ્વારપાળો હતા. BSB BSB: he was previously stationed at the King’s Gate on the east side. These were the gatekeepers from the camp of the Levites.
19 ULB કોરાહના દીકરા એબ્યાસાફના દીકરા કોરેનો દીકરો શાલ્લુમ, તેના પિતાના કુટુંબનાં તેના ભાઈઓ, એટલે કોરાહીઓ સેવાના કામ પર હતા તેઓ મંડપના દ્વારપાળો હતા. તેઓના પિતૃઓ યહોવાહની છાવણીનું પ્રવેશદ્વાર સંભાળનારા હતા. BSB BSB: Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives from the Korahites were assigned to guard the thresholds of the Tent, just as their fathers had been assigned to guard the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.
20 ULB ગતકાળમાં એલાઝારનો દીકરો ફીનહાસ તેઓનો ઉપરી હતો, યહોવાહ તેમની સાથે હતા. BSB BSB: In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.
21 ULB મશેલેમ્યાનો દીકરો ઝખાર્યા "મુલાકાતમંડપના" દ્વારપાળ હતો. BSB BSB: Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
22 ULB એ સર્વ જે દરવાજા ઉપર દ્વારપાળ તરીકે પસંદ કરાયેલા હતા તેઓ બસો બાર હતા. તેઓ પોતપોતાનાં ગામોમાં તેમની વંશાવળી પ્રમાણે ગણાયા હતા. તેઓને દાઉદે તથા શમુએલ પ્રબોધકે તેઓના મુકરર કરેલા કામ પર નીમ્યા હતા. BSB BSB: The number of those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds was 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their positions of trust.
23 ULB તેથી તેઓનું તથા તેઓના દીકરાઓનું કામ યહોવાહની ભક્તિસ્થાનના દ્વારોની એટલે મંડપની, ચોકી કરીને સંભાળ રાખવાનું હતું. BSB BSB: So they and their descendants were assigned to guard the gates of the house of the LORD—the house called the Tent.
24 ULB દ્વારપાળો ચારે બાજુએ ફરજ બજાવતા હતા, એટલે પૂર્વ, પશ્ચિમ, ઉત્તર તથા દક્ષિણ ગમ. BSB BSB: The gatekeepers were stationed on the four sides: east, west, north, and south.
25 ULB તેઓના જે ભાઈઓ તેઓના ગામોમાં હતા, તેઓને સાત દિવસને અંતરે વારાફરતી તેઓની સાથે સેવામાં સામેલ થવા સારુ આવતા હતા. BSB BSB: Their relatives came from their villages at fixed times to serve with them for seven-day periods.
26 ULB ચાર મુખ્ય દરવાજાના રક્ષકો જે લેવીઓ હતા તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની ઓરડીઓ પર તથા ભંડારો પર નિમાયેલા હતા. BSB BSB: But the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and the treasuries of the house of God.
27 ULB તેઓ ઈશ્વરના સભાસ્થાનની આસપાસ તેમનાં કામ પ્રમાણે રહેતા હતા, કેમ કે તેઓ તેની રક્ષા માટે જવાબદાર હતા. દર સવારે તેને ઉઘાડવાનું કામ તેઓનું હતું. BSB BSB: They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they were responsible for guarding it and opening it every morning.
28 ULB તેઓમાંના કેટલાકના હવાલામાં સેવાનાં પાત્રો હતાં, તેઓ તે ગણીને બહાર લઈ જવાની અને ગણીને અંદર લાવવાની જવાબદારી હતી. BSB BSB: Some of them were in charge of the articles used in worship, to count them whenever they were brought in or taken out.
29 ULB વળી તેઓમાંના કેટલાકને રાચરચીલું, પવિત્રસ્થાનનાં સર્વ પાત્રો, મેંદો, દ્રાક્ષારસ, તેલ, લોબાન તથા સુગંધીદ્રવ્ય સાચવવા માટે નીમવામાં આવ્યા હતા. BSB BSB: Others were put in charge of the furnishings and other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, frankincense, and spices.
30 ULB યાજકના દીકરાઓમાંના કેટલાક સુગંધીઓની મેળવણી તૈયાર કરવાની ફરજ બજાવતા હતા. BSB BSB: And some of the sons of the priests mixed the spices.
31 ULB શાલ્લુમ કોરાહીનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો માત્તિથ્યા, જે એક લેવી હતો, તેને અર્પણો માટે રોટલીઓ તૈયાર કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. BSB BSB: A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with baking the bread.
32 ULB કહાથીઓના વંશજોમાંના કેટલાકને દર વિશ્રામવારે અર્પણ કરવાની રોટલી તૈયાર કરવાનું કામ સોંપવામાં આવ્યું હતું. BSB BSB: Some of their Kohathite relatives were responsible for preparing the rows of the showbread every Sabbath.
33 ULB ગાનારાઓ અને લેવીઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો પવિત્રસ્થાનના ઓરડાઓમાં રહેતા હતા, તેઓને અન્ય ફરજો બજાવવાની ન હતી, કેમ કે તેઓ રાત દિવસ પોતાના જ કામમાં વ્યસ્ત રહેતા હતા. BSB BSB: Those who were musicians, the heads of Levite families, stayed in the temple chambers and were exempt from other duties because they were on duty day and night.
34 ULB તેઓ લેવીઓના પિતૃઓના કુટુંબનાં આગેવાનો હતા, એટલે પોતાની સર્વ પેઢીઓમાં મુખ્ય પુરુષો હતા. તેઓ યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા. BSB BSB: All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
35 ULB ગિબ્યોનનો પિતા યેઈએલ ગિબ્યોનમાં રહેતો હતો, તેની પત્નીનું નામ માકા હતું. BSB BSB: Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah.
36 ULB તેનો જયેષ્ઠ દીકરો આબ્દોન, પછી સૂર, કીશ, બઆલ, નેર તથા નાદાબ, BSB BSB: Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
37 ULB ગદોર, આહ્યો, ઝખાર્યા તથા મિકલોથ હતા. BSB BSB: Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 ULB મિકલોથનો દીકરો શિમામ હતો. તેઓ પણ પોતાના ભાઈઓની સાથે યરુશાલેમમાં રહેતા હતા. BSB BSB: Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.
39 ULB નેરનો દીકરો કીશ હતો. કીશનો દીકરો શાઉલ હતો. શાઉલના દીકરાઓ; યોનાથાન, માલ્કી-શુઆ, અબીનાદાબ તથા એશ્બાલ. BSB BSB: Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
40 ULB યોનાથાનનો દીકરો મરીબ્બાલ હતો. મરીબ્બાલનો દીકરો મિખા હતો. BSB BSB: The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, who was the father of Micah.
41 ULB મિખાના દીકરાઓ; પિથોન, મેલેખ, તાહરેઆ તથા આહાઝ. BSB BSB: The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 ULB આહાઝનો દીકરો યારા. યારાના દીકરાઓ; આલેમેથ, આઝમાવેથ તથા ઝિમ્રી. ઝિમ્રીનો દીકરો મોસા હતો. BSB BSB: Ahaz was the father of Jarah; Jarah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri was the father of Moza.
43 ULB મોસાનો દીકરો બિનઆ હતો. બિનઆનો દીકરો રફાયા હતો. રફાયાનો દીકરો એલાસા હતો. એલાસાનો દીકરો આસેલ હતો. BSB BSB: Moza was the father of Binea. Rephaiah was his son, Elasah his son, and Azel his son.
44 ULB આસેલના છ દીકરાઓ; આઝ્રીકામ, બોખરુ, ઇશ્માએલ, શાર્યા, ઓબાદ્યા તથા હાનાન હતા. BSB BSB: And Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
