1 ULB ઇઝરાયલીઓમાંથી તું તારા ભાઈ હારુનને અને તેના પુત્રો નાદાબ, અબીહૂ, એલાઝાર, અને ઈથામારને અલગ કરીને મારી સેવા માટે યાજકો તરીકે સમર્પિત કરજે. BSB BSB: “Next, have your brother Aaron brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, to serve Me as priests.
2 ULB તારા ભાઈ હારુનને માટે પવિત્ર પોષાક તૈયાર કરાવજે, જેથી તેનો મોભો અને ગૌરવ જળવાય. BSB BSB: Make holy garments for your brother Aaron, to give him glory and splendor.
3 ULB મેં જે વસ્ત્ર કલાકારોને કૌશલ્ય બક્ષ્યું છે, તેઓને સૂચના આપ કે હારુન માટે પોષાક તૈયાર કરે કે જે પરિધાન કરીને યાજક તરીકે તે મારી સમક્ષ સેવા કરે. BSB BSB: You are to instruct all the skilled craftsmen, whom I have filled with a spirit of wisdom, to make garments for Aaron’s consecration, so that he may serve Me as priest.
4 ULB તેઓ આ પોષાક બનાવે: ઉરપત્રક, એફોદ, ઝભ્ભો, સફેદ ગૂંથેલો લાંબો જામો, પાઘડી તથા કમરબંધ; તેઓએ તારા ભાઈ હારુન તથા તેના પુત્રો માટે મારા યાજકો તરીકે સેવા બજાવે ત્યારે ગણવેશ તરીકે પહેરવાના અલગ પવિત્ર વસ્ત્રો બનાવવાં. BSB BSB: These are the garments that they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a woven tunic, a turban, and a sash. They are to make these holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that they may serve Me as priests.
5 ULB એ વસ્ત્રો સોનેરી દોરા તથા ભૂરા, જાંબુડા અને કિરમજી રંગનાં ઊનનાં અને ઝીણા કાંતેલા શણના કાપડમાંથી જ બનાવવાં. BSB BSB: They shall use gold, along with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen.
6 ULB તેઓ સોનેરી દોરા તથા ભૂરા, જાંબુડિયા અને કિરમજી રંગનાં ઝીણાં કાંતેલા શણનાં કાપડનો એફોદ બનાવે; આ એફોદ સૌથી વધુ નિષ્ણાત કલાકારો જ તૈયાર કરે. BSB BSB: They are to make the ephod of finely spun linen embroidered with gold, and with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn.
7 ULB એના બે છેડા જોડવા માટે એને ખભા પાસે બે સ્કંધપટી હોય. BSB BSB: It shall have two shoulder pieces attached at two of its corners, so it can be fastened.
8 ULB કમરબંધ પણ એવી જ બનાવટનો હોય; સોનેરી દોરો, ભૂરા, જાંબુડા અને કિરમજી રંગના ઊન અને ઝીણા કાંતેલા શણના દોરાઓમાંથી ગૂંથીને બનાવેલો હોય. BSB BSB: And the skillfully woven waistband of the ephod must be of one piece, of the same workmanship—with gold, with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and with finely spun linen.
9 ULB વળી ગોમેદના બે પાષાણો લેવા અને પછી તેના પર ઇઝરાયલ પુત્રોનાં નામ કોતરવાં. BSB BSB: Take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel:
10 ULB પ્રત્યેક પાષાણ પર ઉંમરના ઊતરતા ક્રમે છ નામ કોતરવામાં આવે. આમ, તેઓના જન્મ દિવસના ક્રમમાં બારે કુળનાં નામો કોતરવામાં આવે. BSB BSB: six of their names on one stone and the remaining six on the other, in the order of their birth.

12 ULB હારુને આ નામો પોતાના બે ખભા પર કિંમતી પથ્થર ધારણ કરીને યહોવાહ પાસે જવું જેથી તેને ઇઝરાયલીઓનું સ્મરણ રહે. BSB BSB: Fasten both stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod as memorial stones for the sons of Israel. Aaron is to bear their names on his two shoulders as a memorial before the LORD.
13 ULB એફોદ પર પાષાણને બેસાડવા માટે શુદ્ધ સોનાનો ઉપયોગ કરવો. ઉપર તારે સોનાનાં ચોકઠાં લગાડવાં. BSB BSB: Fashion gold filigree settings
14 ULB અને દોરીની જેમ વણેલી શુદ્ધ સોનાની બે સાંકળી બનાવવી અને તે ચોકઠાં સાથે જોડી દેવી. BSB BSB: and two chains of pure gold, made of braided cord work; and attach these chains to the settings.
15 ULB પછી ખૂબ કાળજીપૂર્વક એફોદ બનાવવામાં ઉપયોગી એવી કલાકૃતિવાળું ન્યાયકરણનું ઉરપત્રક બનાવવું, એ સોનેરી દોરો તથા ભૂરા, જાંબુડિયા અને લાલ રંગના ઊનનું તેમ જ ઝીણા કાંતેલા શણનું હોય. BSB BSB: You are also to make a breastpiece of judgment with the same workmanship as the ephod. Construct it with gold, with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and with finely spun linen.
16 ULB તે સમચોરસ તથા બેવડું વાળેલું હોય, તે એક વેંત લાંબુ અને એક વેંત પહોળું હોય. BSB BSB: It must be square when folded over double, a span long and a span wide.
17 ULB વળી તેમાં ચાર હારમાં નંગ જડવાં. પહેલી હારમાં માણેક, પોખરાજ અને લાલ, BSB BSB: And mount on it a setting of gemstones, four rows of stones: In the first row there shall be a ruby, a topaz, and an emerald;
18 ULB બીજી હારમાં લીલમ, નીલમ તથા હીરો, BSB BSB: in the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond;
19 ULB ત્રીજી હારમાં શનિ, અકીક અને યાકૂત, BSB BSB: in the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20 ULB ચોથી હારમાં પીરોજ, ગોમેદ તથા યાસપિસ હોય. આ બધાને સોનામાં જ જડવાં. BSB BSB: and in the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. Mount these stones in gold filigree settings.
21 ULB પ્રત્યેક પાષાણ પર ઇઝરાયલના બાર પુત્રોમાંના એક પુત્રનું નામ કોતરાવવું. પ્રત્યેક પાષાણ ઇઝરાયલના એક કુળસમૂહનું પ્રતીક બનશે. BSB BSB: The twelve stones are to correspond to the names of the sons of Israel, each engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.
22 ULB ઉરપત્રક માટે દોરીની જેમ વણેલી શુદ્ધ સોનાની સાંકળીઓ કરાવવી, તે સાંકળીઓ વડે ઉરપત્રકનો ઉપરનો છેડો એફોદ સાથે જોડવાનો છે. BSB BSB: For the breastpiece, make braided chains like cords of pure gold.
23 ULB વળી સોનાની બે કડીઓ બનાવવી અને તે ઉરપત્રકને ઉપરને છેડે જોડી દેવી. BSB BSB: You are also to make two gold rings and fasten them to the two corners of the breastpiece.
24 ULB અને એ બે કડીઓ સાથે પેલી સોનાની બે સાંકળી જોડી દેવી. BSB BSB: Then fasten the two gold chains to the two gold rings at the corners of the breastpiece,
25 ULB સાંકળીના બીજા બે છેડા બે ચોકઠાં સાથે જોડી દેવાં અને એ રીતે એફોદની સ્કંધપટીઓના આગલા ભાગ ઉપર તેમને જોડી દેવી. BSB BSB: and fasten the other ends of the two chains to the two filigree settings, attaching them to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the front.
26 ULB પછી સોનાની બીજી બે કડીઓ બનાવવી અને ઉરપત્રકમાં અંદરની બાજુએ નીચેના છેડે લગાવવી. BSB BSB: Make two more gold rings and attach them to the other two corners of the breastpiece, on the inside edge next to the ephod.
27 ULB કમરબંધ પર આવતા એફોદના આગળના ભાગના નીચેના છેડા ઉપર સોનાની બીજી બે કડીઓ લગાવવી. BSB BSB: Make two additional gold rings and attach them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, on its front, near its seam just above its woven waistband.
28 ULB ઉરપત્રકનો નીચેનો ભાગ ભૂરા રંગની પટ્ટીઓ વડે એફોદના નીચેના છેડા પર આવેલી કડીઓ સાથે જોડવો. આમ કરવાથી ઉરપત્રક એફોદથી છૂટું પડી જશે નહિ. BSB BSB: The rings of the breastpiece shall be tied to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so that the breastpiece is above the waistband of the ephod and does not swing out from the ephod.
29 ULB જ્યારે હારુન પવિત્ર સ્થાનમાં પ્રવેશે, ત્યારે તેની પાસે ન્યાયકરણના ઉરાવરણ પર ઇઝરાયલના બાર પુત્રોનાં નામ ધારણ કરેલાં હોવાં જોઈએ. હંમેશા તેઓ યહોવાહના સ્મરણ અર્થે રહેશે. BSB BSB: Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he shall bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of judgment, as a continual reminder before the LORD.
30 ULB ઉરીમ અને તુમ્મીમને ન્યાયકરણના ઉરપત્રકમાં મૂકવાં. હારુન જ્યારે યહોવાહ સમક્ષ જાય, ત્યારે તે તેની છાતી પર રહે. જ્યારે હારુન યહોવાહ સમક્ષ ઉપસ્થિત હોય ત્યારે અને ઇઝરાયલીઓનો ન્યાય કરતી વખતે હંમેશા આ ઉરપત્રક તેના અંગ પર રાખશે. BSB BSB: And place the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece of judgment, so that they will also be over Aaron’s heart whenever he comes before the LORD. Aaron will continually carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the LORD.
31 ULB એફોદનો જામો આખો ભૂરા રંગના કાપડનો બનાવવો અને તેની વચમાં માથા માટે ચીરો રાખવો. BSB BSB: You are to make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth,
32 ULB એ ચીરાની કિનાર ચામડાના જામાના ગળાની જેમ ફરતેથી ગૂંથીને સીવી લેવી, જેથી તે ફાટી જાય નહિ. BSB BSB: with an opening at its top in the center. Around the opening shall be a woven collar with an opening like that of a garment, so that it will not tear.
33 ULB અને જામાની નીચેની કિનારીએ ભૂરા, જાંબુડા અને કિરમજી રંગના દાડમનું ભરતકામ કરાવવું. અને બે દાડમોની વચમાં સોનાની ઘૂઘરીઓ મૂકવી, BSB BSB: Make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn all the way around the lower hem, with gold bells between them,
34 ULB જેને લીધે નીચલી કિનાર પર ફરતે પહેલાં સોનાની ઘૂઘરી, પછી દાડમ, ફરી ઘૂઘરી, પછી દાડમ એ રીતે હાર થઈ જાય. હારુન જ્યારે યાજક તરીકે સેવા કરે ત્યારે એ પહેરે. BSB BSB: alternating the gold bells and pomegranates around the lower hem of the robe.
35 ULB જ્યારે તે પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં યહોવાહના સાન્નિધ્યમાં જાય અથવા ત્યાંથી બહાર આવે, ત્યારે એ ઘૂઘરીઓનો અવાજ સંભળાશે, જેથી તે મૃત્યુ પામશે નહિ. BSB BSB: Aaron must wear the robe whenever he ministers, and its sound will be heard when he enters or exits the sanctuary before the LORD, so that he will not die.
36 ULB પછી શુદ્ધ સોનાનું એક પાત્ર બનાવજે અને તેના પર 'યહોવાહને પવિત્ર' એમ કોતરાવવું. BSB BSB: You are to make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD.
37 ULB એ પાત્ર પાઘડીના આગળના ભાગમાં ભૂરી દોરી વડે બાંધવું. BSB BSB: Fasten to it a blue cord to mount it on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban.
38 ULB હારુને એ પોતાના કપાળ પર ધારણ કરવું જેથી ઇઝરાયલીઓ જે પવિત્ર અર્પણો આપે તેમાં કોઈ દોષ હોય તો તે દોષ હારુન પોતાને માથે લઈ લે અને હારુને તે કાયમ પોતાના કપાળ પર પહેરી રાખવું જેથી યહોવાહ પવિત્ર અર્પણથી પ્રસન્ન રહે. BSB BSB: And it will be worn on Aaron’s forehead, so that he may bear the iniquity of the holy things that the sons of Israel consecrate with regard to all their holy gifts. It shall always be on his forehead, so that they may be acceptable before the LORD.
39 ULB હારુનનો ઝભ્ભો ઝીણા કાંતેલા શણનો બનાવવો અને પાઘડી પણ ઝીણા કાંતેલા શણની જ બનાવવી અને તેના કમરપટા પર સુંદર જરીકામ કરાવવું. BSB BSB: You are to weave the tunic with fine linen, make the turban of fine linen, and fashion an embroidered sash.
40 ULB હારુનના પ્રત્યેક પુત્રને માટે તેને માન અને આદર આપવા સારુ જામો, કમરબંધ અને પાઘડી બનાવવાં જેથી તેનો આદર અને ગૌરવ જળવાય. BSB BSB: Make tunics, sashes, and headbands for Aaron’s sons, to give them glory and splendor.
41 ULB હારુન અને તેના પુત્રોને આ પોષાક પહેરાવ અને તેઓને સેવા માટે અર્પણ કર અને તેઓને માથા ઉપર જૈત તેલનો અભિષેક કરીને યાજકપદ માટે પવિત્ર કર. તેઓ યાજકો તરીકે મારી સેવા કરશે. BSB BSB: After you put these garments on your brother Aaron and his sons, anoint them, ordain them, and consecrate them so that they may serve Me as priests.
42 ULB તેઓને માટે કમરથી તે સાથળ સુધી પહોંચે એવા અંતઃવસ્ત્ર બનાવવાં, જેથી તેઓની નિર્વસ્ત્રવસ્થા નગ્નપણું કોઈની નજરે ન પડે. BSB BSB: Make linen undergarments to cover their bare flesh, extending from waist to thigh.
43 ULB હારુન અને તેના પુત્રો જ્યારે પણ મુલાકાતમંડપમાં અથવા પવિત્રસ્થાનમાંની વેદી પાસે જાય, ત્યારે તેઓ હંમેશા અંતઃવસ્ત્ર પહેરે, જેથી તેઓ દોષમાં ન પડે અને તેઓ મૃત્યુ ન પામે. હારુન અને તેના વંશજો માટે આ કાયમી કાનૂન સદાને માટે છે. BSB BSB: Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they will not incur guilt and die. This is to be a permanent statute for Aaron and his descendants.
