1. 1ULBઆદમની વંશાવળીની વિગતો આ પ્રમાણે છે. ઈશ્વરે પોતાની પ્રતિમા પ્રમાણે માણસનું સર્જન કર્યું.BSBBSB: This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness.
2. 2ULBપુરુષ તથા સ્ત્રીને તેમણે સર્જ્યા, તેઓને આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો અને તેઓની ઉત્પત્તિના દિવસે તેઓનું નામ માનવજાત પાડવામાં આવ્યું.BSBBSB: Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them “man.”
3. 3ULBજયારે આદમ એકસો ત્રીસ વર્ષનો થયો, ત્યારે તેને તેની પ્રતિમા તથા સ્વરૂપ પ્રમાણે તેની પત્નીએ દીકરાને જન્મ આપ્યો. તેણે તેનું નામ શેથ પાડ્યું.BSBBSB: When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth.
4. 4ULBશેથના જન્મ પછી આદમ આઠસો વર્ષ જીવ્યો અને તે ઘણાં દીકરા અને દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
5. 5ULBઆદમ નવસો ત્રીસ વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.
6. 6ULBજયારે તેના પુત્ર અનોશનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે શેથ એકસો પાંચ વર્ષનો થયો.BSBBSB: When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.
7. 7ULBઅનોશનો જન્મ થયા પછી, શેથ આઠસો સાત વર્ષ જીવ્યો, તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
8. 8ULBશેથ નવસો બાર વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9. 9ULBજયારે તેના પુત્ર કેનાનનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે અનોશ નેવું વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Enosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan.
10. 10ULBકેનાનના જન્મ પછી અનોશ આઠસો પંદર વર્ષ જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.
11. 11ULBઅનોશ નવસો પાંચ વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12. 12ULBજયારે તેના પુત્ર માહલાલેલ નો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે કેનાન સિત્તેર વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Kenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalel.
13. 13ULBમાહલાલેલનો જન્મ થયા પછી કેનાન આઠસો ચાળીસ વર્ષ સુધી જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.
14. 14ULBકેનાન નવસો દસ વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15. 15ULBજ્યારે તેના પુત્ર યારેદનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે માહલાલેલ પાંસઠ વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared.
16. 16ULBયારેદનો જન્મ થયા પછી માહલાલેલ આઠસો ત્રીસ વર્ષ જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
17. 17ULBમાહલાલેલ આઠસો પંચાણું વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18. 18ULBજયારે તેના પુત્ર હનોખનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે યારેદ એકસો બાસઠ વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch.
19. 19ULBહનોખનો જન્મ થયા પછી યારેદ આઠસો વર્ષ જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
20. 20ULBયારેદ નવસો બાસઠ વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21. 21ULBતેના પુત્ર મથૂશેલાહનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે હનોખ પાંસઠ વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah.
22. 22ULBમથૂશેલાહનો જન્મ થયાં પછી હનોખ ત્રણસો વર્ષ ઈશ્વરની સંઘાતે ચાલ્યો અને તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
23. 23ULBહનોખનું પૃથ્વી પરનું આયુષ્ય ત્રણસો પાંસઠ વર્ષનું હતું.BSBBSB: So Enoch lived a total of 365 years.
24. 24ULBહનોખ ઈશ્વરની સંઘાતે ચાલતો હતો. પછી તે અદ્રશ્ય થઈ ગયો, કેમ કે ઈશ્વરે તેને લઈ લીધો હતો.BSBBSB: Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
25. 25ULBજયારે તેના પુત્ર લામેખનો જન્મ થયો ત્યારે મથૂશેલાહ એકસો સિત્યાસી વર્ષનો હતો.BSBBSB: When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
26. 26ULBલામેખનો જન્મ થયા પછી મથૂશેલાહ સાતસો બ્યાસી વર્ષ જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27. 27ULBમથૂશેલાહ નવસો અગણોસિત્તેર વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28. 28ULBજયારે લામેખ એકસો બ્યાસી વર્ષનો થયો ત્યારે તે એક દીકરાનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son.
29. 29ULBતેણે તેનું નામ નૂહ રાખ્યું અને કહ્યું કે, "આ ઈશ્વરે શાપિત કરેલી ભૂમિ પર અમારા સખત કામ અને અમારા હાથોના સખત પરિશ્રમથી અમને વિસામો આપશે."BSBBSB: And he named him Noah, saying, “May this one comfort us in the labor and toil of our hands caused by the ground that the LORD has cursed.”
30. 30ULBનૂહનો જન્મ થયા પછી લામેખ પાંચસો પંચાણું વર્ષ જીવ્યો. તે ઘણાં દીકરા તથા દીકરીઓનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: And after he had become the father of Noah, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
31. 31ULBલામેખ સાતસો સિત્તોતેર વર્ષની ઉંમરે મરણ પામ્યો.BSBBSB: So Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32. 32ULBનૂહ પાંચસો વર્ષનો થયો પછી તે શેમ, હામ તથા યાફેથનો પિતા થયો.BSBBSB: After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
