2 ULB ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુનો બંદીવાન પાઉલ તથા ભાઈ તિમોથી લખે છે BSB BSB: to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:
3 ULB ઈશ્વર આપણા પિતા તથા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત તમને કૃપા તથા શાંતિ થાઓ. BSB BSB: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 ULB ભાઈ ફિલેમોન પ્રભુ ઈસુ પર તથા સર્વ સંતો પરના તારા પ્રેમ તથા વિશ્વાસ વિષે, BSB BSB: I always thank my God, remembering you in my prayers,
5 ULB સાંભળવાથી તારું સ્મરણ હું નિત્ય મારી પ્રાર્થનાઓમાં કરું છું અને મારા ઈશ્વરની આભારસ્તુતિ કરું છું. BSB BSB: because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.
6 ULB મારી પ્રાર્થના છે કે આપણામાં જે સર્વ સારું છે તેનું જ્ઞાન થયાથી, તારા વિશ્વાસની ભાગીદારી ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુના મહિમાને સારુ સફળ થાય. BSB BSB: I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every good thing that is ours in Christ.
7 ULB કારણ કે તારા પ્રેમમાં મને ઘણો લાભ તથા દિલાસો મળ્યો છે; કેમ કે, ઓ ભાઈ, તારાથી સંતોના હૃદય ઉત્તેજિત થયાં છે. BSB BSB: I take great joy and encouragement in your love, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
8 ULB માટે જે યોગ્ય છે તે તને આજ્ઞા તરીકે કહેવાને મને ખ્રિસ્તમાં છૂટ છે ખરી, BSB BSB: So although in Christ I am bold enough to order you to do what is proper,
9 ULB તોપણ હું પાઉલ વૃદ્ધ તથા હમણાં ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુનો બંદીવાન હોવાથી હું બીજી રીતે, એટલે પ્રેમથી, તને વિનંતી કરું છું. BSB BSB: I prefer to appeal on the basis of love. For I, Paul, am now aged, and a prisoner of Christ Jesus as well.
10 ULB ઓનેસીમસ આ બંદીખાનામાં જે મારા દીકરા જેવો થયો છે તેને વિષે હું તને વિનંતી કરું છું. BSB BSB: I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whose father I became while I was in chains.
11 ULB અગાઉ તે તને ઉપયોગી ન હતો, પણ હમણાં તે તને તથા મને પણ ઉપયોગી છે; BSB BSB: Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
12 ULB તેને પોતાને, એટલે મારા પોતાના હૃદય જેવાને, મેં તારી પાસે પાછો મોકલ્યો છે. BSB BSB: I am sending back to you him who is my very heart.
13 ULB તેને હું મારી પાસે રાખવા ઇચ્છતો હતો, કે સુવાર્તાને લીધે હું બંદીવાસમાં છું તે દરમિયાન તે તારા બદલામાં મારી મદદ કરે. BSB BSB: I would have liked to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he could minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
14 ULB પણ તારી મરજી વિના કંઈ કરવાની મારી ઇચ્છા ન હતી, એ માટે કે તારો ઉપકાર દબાણથી નહિ, પણ રાજીખુશીથી થાય. BSB BSB: But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness will not be out of compulsion, but by your own free will.
17 ULB માટે જો તું મને ભાગીદાર ગણે, તો જેમ મારો તેમ તેનો સ્વીકાર કરજે. BSB BSB: So if you consider me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
18 ULB પણ જો તેણે તારો કંઈ અન્યાય કર્યો હોય કે તેની પાસે તારું કંઈ લેણું હોય તો તેની જવાબદારી હું લઉં છું. BSB BSB: But if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to my account.
19 ULB હું પાઉલ મારે પોતાને હાથે લખું છું કે, તે હું ભરપાઈ કરીશ; તોપણ હું તને નથી કહેતો કે તું પોતા વિષે મારો કરજદાર છે. BSB BSB: I, Paul, write this with my own hand. I will repay it—not to mention that you owe me your very self.
20 ULB હા, ભાઈ, તારાથી પ્રભુમાં મને આનંદ થાય; ખ્રિસ્તમાં મારું હૃદય શાંત કર. BSB BSB: Yes, brother, let me have some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.
21 ULB તું મારું કહેલું માનીશ એવો ભરોસો રાખીને તારા પર આ પત્ર લખું છું, કેમ કે હું જાણું છું કે, જે હું કહું છું તે કરતાં પણ તું વધારે કરીશ. BSB BSB: Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.
22 ULB સારુ, મારે માટે રહેવાની વ્યવસ્થા તૈયાર રાખજે. કેમ કે મને આશા છે કે તમારી પ્રાર્થનાઓથી મારે તમારી પાસે આવવાનું થશે. BSB BSB: In the meantime, prepare a guest room for me, because I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
23 ULB એપાફ્રાસ, ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુમાં મારો સાથી બંદીવાન, BSB BSB: Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings,
24 ULB સેવાકાર્યમાં મારા સાથીદાર માર્ક, આરિસ્તાર્ખસ, દેમાસ તથા લૂકે સર્વ તને ક્ષેમકુશળ કહે છે. BSB BSB: as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
25 ULB આપણા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તની કૃપા તમારા આત્માની સાથે હો. આમીન. BSB BSB: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
