1 ULB હે મારા સ્તુતિના ઈશ્વર, તમે શાંત ન રહો. BSB BSB: For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, be not silent.
2 ULB કારણ કે દુષ્ટ અને કપટી માણસો મારા પર હુમલાઓ કરે છે; તેઓ મારી વિરુદ્ધ જૂઠું બોલે છે. BSB BSB: For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me; they speak against me with lying tongues.
3 ULB તેઓએ મને તિરસ્કૃત શબ્દોથી ઘેરી લીધો છે અને કોઈ કારણ વગર મારી સાથે લડાઈ કરવા હુમલો કરે છે. BSB BSB: They surround me with hateful words and attack me without cause.
4 ULB તેઓ મારી પ્રીતિના બદલામાં મારા શત્રુ થયા છે, પણ હું તેઓને માટે પ્રાર્થના જ કરું છું. BSB BSB: In return for my love they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.
5 ULB તેઓ ઉપકારને બદલે અપકાર કરે છે અને તેઓ મારા પ્રેમને ધિક્કારે છે. BSB BSB: They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 ULB મારા શત્રુનો સામનો કરવા માટે એક દુષ્ટ માણસને નિયુક્ત કરો; તેને જમણે હાથે કોઈ અપ્રામાણિકને ઊભો રાખો. BSB BSB: Set over him a wicked man; let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 ULB જ્યારે તે ન્યાય કરે, ત્યારે તે અપરાધી ઠરો; તેની પ્રાર્થના પાપરૂપ ગણાઓ. BSB BSB: When he is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayer be regarded as sin.
8 ULB તેના દિવસો થોડા થાઓ; તેનું સ્થાન બીજા કોઈ લઈ લો. BSB BSB: May his days be few; may another take his position.
9 ULB તેના સંતાનો અનાથ અને તેની પત્ની વિધવા થાઓ. BSB BSB: May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
10 ULB તેના સંતાનો રખડીને ભીખ માગો, ઉજ્જડ થયેલાં પોતાના ઘરોમાંથી તેઓને નસાડી મૂકવામાં આવે. BSB BSB: May his children wander as beggars, seeking sustenance far from their ruined homes.
11 ULB તેનો લેણદાર જોરજુલમથી તેનું બધું લઈ જાઓ; તેની મહેનતનું ફળ અજાણ્યા લૂંટી જાઓ. BSB BSB: May the creditor seize all he owns, and strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 ULB તેના પર દયા રાખનાર કોઈ ન રહો; તેનાં અનાથ બાળકો પર કોઈ કૃપા રાખનાર ન રહો. BSB BSB: May there be no one to extend kindness to him, and no one to favor his fatherless children.
13 ULB તેના વંશજોનો ઉચ્છેદ થાઓ; આવતી પેઢીમાંથી તેનું નામ સંપૂર્ણપણે ભૂંસાઈ જાઓ. BSB BSB: May his descendants be cut off; may their name be blotted out from the next generation.
14 ULB તેના પિતૃઓનાં પાપ યહોવાહને યાદ રહો; અને તેની માતાનું પાપ માફ કરવામાં ન આવો. BSB BSB: May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, and the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
15 ULB તેનાં પાપો નિત્ય યહોવાહની નજરમાં રહો; યહોવાહ તેનું નામ પૃથ્વી પરથી ઉખેડી નાખે. BSB BSB: May their sins always remain before the LORD, that He may cut off their memory from the earth.
16 ULB કારણ કે તેણે બીજાઓ પ્રત્યે દયા કરવાનું ચાહ્યું નહિ, પણ નિરુત્સાહીની હત્યા કરવા માટે અને ગરીબ તથા જરૂરતમંદને સતાવ્યા. BSB BSB: For he never thought to show kindness, but pursued the poor and needy and brokenhearted, even to their death.
17 ULB બીજાઓને શાપ આપવામાં તે ખુશ હતો; માટે એ શાપ તેને લાગો. તે આશીર્વાદને ધિક્કારતો; તેથી તેના પર કોઈ આશીર્વાદ ન આવો. BSB BSB: The cursing that he loved, may it fall on him; the blessing in which he refused to delight, may it be far from him.
18 ULB તેણે વસ્ત્રની જેમ પોતાના શરીર પર શાપ ધારણ કર્યો હતો અને તેનો શાપ પાણીની માફક તેના અંતઃકરણમાં તેના હાડકામાં તેલની જેમ પ્રસરી જતો હતો. BSB BSB: The cursing that he wore like a coat, may it soak into his body like water, and into his bones like oil.
19 ULB પહેરવાનાં વસ્ત્રની જેમ તે તેને આચ્છાદિત કરનાર થાઓ કમરબંધની જેમ તે સદા વીંટળાઈ રહો. BSB BSB: May it be like a robe wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him.
20 ULB જેઓ મારા શત્રુ છે અને જેઓ મારા આત્માની વિરુદ્ધ બોલનાર છે, તેઓને યહોવાહ તરફથી આવો બદલો મળો. BSB BSB: May this be the LORD’s reward to my accusers, to those who speak evil against me.
21 ULB હે યહોવાહ, મારા પ્રભુ, તમે તમારા નામની ખાતર મારા માટે લડો. કેમ કે તમારી કૃપા ઉત્તમ છે, મારો બચાવ કરો. BSB BSB: But You, O GOD, the Lord, deal kindly with me for the sake of Your name; deliver me by the goodness of Your loving devotion.
22 ULB કેમ કે હું ગરીબ તથા દરિદ્રી છું અને મારું હૃદય ઊંડે સુધી ઘાયલ થયું છે. BSB BSB: For I am poor and needy; my heart is wounded within me.
23 ULB હું નમી ગયેલી છાયાના જેવો થઈ ગયો છું; મને તીડની જેમ ખંખેરી નાખવામાં આવે છે. BSB BSB: I am fading away like a lengthening shadow; I am shaken off like a locust.
24 ULB ઉપવાસથી મારાં ઘૂંટણ નબળા પડ્યાં છે; મારું માંસ પુષ્ટિ વિના ઘટી ગયું છે. BSB BSB: My knees are weak from fasting, and my body grows lean and gaunt.
25 ULB હું સર્વ માણસો માટે નિષ્ફળતાનું પ્રતીક બન્યો છું; જ્યારે તેઓ મને જુએ છે, ત્યારે તેઓ પોતાના માથાં હલાવે છે. BSB BSB: I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads.
26 ULB હે યહોવાહ મારા ઈશ્વર, મને મદદ કરો; તમારી કૃપા પ્રમાણે મારો બચાવ કરો. BSB BSB: Help me, O LORD my God; save me according to Your loving devotion.
27 ULB તેઓ જાણે કે આ તમે કર્યું છે, હે યહોવાહ, તમે જ આ કર્યું છે, BSB BSB: Let them know that this is Your hand, that You, O LORD, have done it.
28 ULB જો તેઓ મને શાપ આપે, તો કૃપા કરી તેમને આશીર્વાદ આપજો; જ્યારે તેઓ હુમલો કરે, ત્યારે તેઓ શરમાઈ જાઓ, પણ તમારો સેવક આનંદ કરે. BSB BSB: Though they curse, You will bless. When they rise up, they will be put to shame, but Your servant will rejoice.
29 ULB મારા શત્રુઓ વસ્ત્રની જેમ બદનામીથી શરમ અનુભવો અને ઝભ્ભાની જેમ તેઓ શરમથી ઢંકાઈ જાઓ. BSB BSB: May my accusers be clothed with disgrace; may they wear their shame like a robe.
30 ULB હું વારંવાર યહોવાહનો આભાર માનીશ; હું ઘણા લોકોમાં તેમની સ્તુતિ ગાઈશ. BSB BSB: With my mouth I will thank the LORD profusely; I will praise Him in the presence of many.
31 ULB કારણ કે દરિદ્રીના આત્માને અપરાધી ઠરાવનારાઓથી ઉદ્ધાર આપવાને માટે યહોવાહ તેને જમણે હાથે ઊભા રહેશે. BSB BSB: For He stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from the condemners of his soul.
