7 ULB તેઓએ તમારા પવિત્રસ્થાનને આગ લગાડી છે; તેઓએ તમારું નિવાસસ્થાન ભ્રષ્ટ કરીને ધૂળમાં મેળવી દીધું છે. BSB BSB: They have burned Your sanctuary to the ground; they have defiled the dwelling place of Your Name.
8 ULB તેઓએ પોતાના હૃદયોમાં કહ્યું, "આપણે તે સર્વનો નાશ કરીશું." તેઓએ દેશમાંના બધાં સભાસ્થાનોને બાળી મૂક્યાં છે. BSB BSB: They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely.” They burned down every place where God met us in the land.
9 ULB અમે ઈશ્વર તરફથી એક પણ ચમત્કાર કે ચિહ્નો જોઈ શકતા નથી; ત્યાં કોઈ પ્રબોધક નથી અને આવું ક્યાં સુધી ચાલશે તે જાણનાર અમારામાં કોઈ નથી. BSB BSB: There are no signs for us to see. There is no longer any prophet. And none of us knows how long this will last.
10 ULB હે ઈશ્વર, ક્યાં સુધી અમારા શત્રુઓ તમારા નામનું અપમાન કરશે? શું શત્રુ હંમેશાં તમારા નામની નિંદા કરશે? BSB BSB: How long, O God, will the enemy taunt You? Will the foe revile Your name forever?
11 ULB તમે તમારો હાથ, હા, તમારો જમણો હાથ, કેમ પાછો ખેંચો છો? તમારા ઉરમાંથી તમારો જમણો હાથ બહાર લાવીને તેઓનો નાશ કરો. BSB BSB: Why do You withdraw Your strong right hand? Stretch it out to destroy them!
12 ULB તોપણ પુરાતન કાળથી, ઈશ્વર મારા રાજા છે, પૃથ્વી પર ઉદ્ધાર કરનાર તે જ છે. BSB BSB: Yet God is my King from ancient times, working salvation on the earth.
13 ULB તમે તમારા મહાન પરાક્રમ વડે રાતા સમુદ્રના બે ભાગ પાડ્યા; વળી તમે પાણીમાં મહા અજગરનો માથાં ફોડી નાખ્યાં. BSB BSB: You divided the sea by Your strength; You smashed the heads of the dragons of the sea;
14 ULB તમે મહા મગરમચ્છનાં માથાના કકડેકકડા કરી નાખ્યા; તમે તેને અરણ્યમાં રહેતા લોકોને ખાવાને આપ્યો. BSB BSB: You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You fed him to the creatures of the desert.
15 ULB ઝરાઓ તથા નાળાંઓમાં તમે રસ્તા પાડ્યા; તમે નિરંતર વહેતી નદીઓને સૂકવી નાખી. BSB BSB: You broke open the fountain and the flood; You dried up the ever-flowing rivers.
16 ULB દિવસ તમારો છે અને રાત પણ તમારી છે; તમે સૂર્ય તથા ચંદ્રને તેની જગ્યાએ સ્થિર કર્યા છે. BSB BSB: The day is Yours, and also the night; You established the moon and the sun.
17 ULB તમે પૃથ્વીની સીમાઓ સ્થાપન કરી છે; તમે ઉનાળો તથા શિયાળો ઠરાવ્યા. BSB BSB: You set all the boundaries of the earth; You made the summer and winter.
18 ULB હે યહોવાહ, શત્રુઓ તમારી મશ્કરી કરે છે અને મૂર્ખ લોકો તમારા નામની નિંદા કરે છે, તેનું સ્મરણ કરો. BSB BSB: Remember how the enemy has mocked You, O LORD, how a foolish people has spurned Your name.
19 ULB તમારા કબૂતરનો જીવ હિંસક પશુઓનાં હાથમાં જવા દેશો નહિ; તમારા પીડિત લોકોને સદાને માટે ભૂલી જશો નહિ. BSB BSB: Do not deliver the soul of Your dove to beasts; do not forget the lives of Your afflicted forever.
20 ULB તમે કરેલા કરારનું સ્મરણ કરો, કેમ કે પૃથ્વીના અધર્મરૂપી અંધકારવાળા ભાગો બળાત્કારથી ભરપૂર છે. BSB BSB: Consider Your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21 ULB દુ:ખી લોકોને બદનામ કરીને પાછા હઠાવતા નહિ; દરિદ્રીઓ અને લાચારો તમારા નામનું સ્તવન કરે. BSB BSB: Do not let the oppressed retreat in shame; may the poor and needy praise Your name.
22 ULB હે ઈશ્વર, તમે ઊઠો તમારા પોતાના પક્ષની હિમાયત કરો; મૂર્ખ માણસો આખો દિવસ તમારું અપમાન કરે છે, તે યાદ કરો. BSB BSB: Rise up, O God; defend Your cause! Remember how the fool mocks You all day long.
23 ULB તમારા શત્રુઓની વાણી અને તમારી વિરુદ્ધ બંડ ઉઠાવનારાઓનો ઘોંઘાટ, નિત્ય ઊંચો ચઢે છે, તે તમે વીસરશો નહિ. BSB BSB: Do not disregard the clamor of Your adversaries, the uproar of Your enemies that ascends continually.
