1 ULB તેથી જેઓ ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુમાં છે તેઓને હવે કોઈ શિક્ષા નથી. BSB BSB: Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 ULB કેમ કે ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તમાં જીવનનાં આત્માનો જે નિયમ છે તેણે મને પાપના તથા મરણના નિયમથી મુક્ત કર્યો છે. BSB BSB: For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.
3 ULB કેમ કે મનુષ્યદેહનાં લીધે નિયમશાસ્ત્ર નિર્બળ હતું, તેથી જે કામ તેને અશક્ય હતું તે ઈશ્વરે કર્યું, એટલે પોતાના દીકરાને પાપી મનુષ્યદેહની સમાનતામાં અને પાપના અર્પણ તરીકે મોકલીને તેમના મનુષ્યદેહમાં પાપને દંડાજ્ઞા ફરમાવી; BSB BSB: For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh,
4 ULB કે જેથી આપણામાં, એટલે દેહ પ્રમાણે નહિ પણ આત્મા પ્રમાણે ચાલનારાંમાં, નિયમશાસ્ત્રની જરૂરિયાત પરિપૂર્ણ થાય. BSB BSB: so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 ULB કેમ કે જેઓ દૈહિક છે તેઓ દૈહિક અને જેઓ આત્મિક છે તેઓ આત્માની બાબતો ઉપર મન લગાડે છે. BSB BSB: Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
6 ULB દૈહિક મન મરણ છે; પણ આત્મિક મન જીવન તથા શાંતિ છે. BSB BSB: The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace,
7 ULB કારણ કે દૈહિક મન ઈશ્વર સાથે વૈર છે, કેમ કે તે ઈશ્વરના નિયમશાસ્ત્રને આધીન નથી અને થઈ શકતું પણ નથી. BSB BSB: because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.
8 ULB અને જેઓ દૈહિક છે તેઓ ઈશ્વરને પ્રસન્ન કરી શકતા નથી. BSB BSB: Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.
10 ULB અને જો ખ્રિસ્ત તમારામાં છે તો પાપને લીધે શરીર તો મૃત છે, પણ ન્યાયીપણાને લીધે આત્મા જીવે છે. BSB BSB: But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
11 ULB જેમણે ઈસુને મરણમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા, તેમનો આત્મા જો તમારામાં વસે છે, તો જેણે ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુને મરણમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા, તેઓ તમારામાં વસનાર પોતાના આત્મા દ્વારા તમારા મર્ત્ય શરીરોને પણ સજીવન કરશે. BSB BSB: And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.
12 ULB તેથી, ભાઈઓ, આપણે ઋણી છીએ, પણ દેહ પ્રમાણે જીવવાને દેહનાં ઋણી નથી. BSB BSB: Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
13 ULB કેમ કે જો તમે દેહ પ્રમાણે જીવો તો મરશો જ; પણ જો તમે આત્માથી શરીરનાં કામોને મારી નાખો તો જીવશો. BSB BSB: For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14 ULB કેમ કે જેટલાં ઈશ્વરના આત્માથી દોરાય છે, તેટલાં ઈશ્વરના દીકરા છે. BSB BSB: For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
17 ULB જો સંતાનો છીએ તો વારસ પણ છીએ, એટલે ઈશ્વરના વારસ છીએ અને ખ્રિસ્તની સાથે મહિમા પામવાને માટે જો આપણે ખરેખર તેની સાથે દુઃખ સહન કરીએ તો ખ્રિસ્તની સાથે સહવારસ પણ છીએ. BSB BSB: And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.
21 ULB અને તે એવી આશાથી સ્વાધીન થઈ કે સૃષ્ટિ પોતે પણ નાશના દાસત્વમાંથી મુક્ત થઈને ઈશ્વરના દીકરાના મહિમાની સાથે રહેલી મુક્તિ પામે. BSB BSB: that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22 ULB કેમ કે આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે અત્યાર સુધી આખી સૃષ્ટિ તમામ નિસાસા નાખીને પ્રસૂતિની વેદનાથી કષ્ટાય છે. BSB BSB: We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time.
23 ULB અને એકલી તે નહિ, પણ આપણે જેઓને આત્માનું પ્રથમફળ મળ્યું છે, તે આપણે પોતે પણ દત્તકપુત્ર તરીકેની એટલે આપણા શરીરનાં ઉદ્ધારની રાહ જોતાં, પોતાના મનમાં નિસાસા નાખીએ છીએ. BSB BSB: Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24 ULB કેમ કે આપણે આશાથી ઉદ્ધાર પામ્યા છીએ, પણ જે આશા દૃશ્ય હોય તે આશા નથી; કેમ કે કોઈ મનુષ્ય પોતે જે જુએ છે તેની આશા કેવી રીતે કરે? BSB BSB: For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?
25 ULB પણ જે આપણે જોતાં નથી તેની આશા જયારે રાખીએ છીએ, ત્યારે ધીરજથી તેની રાહ જોઈએ છીએ. BSB BSB: But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.
26 ULB તે જ પ્રમાણે આત્મા પણ આપણી નિર્બળતામાં આપણને સહાય કરે છે; કેમ કે યથાયોગ્ય રીતે શી પ્રાર્થના કરવી તે આપણે જાણતા નથી, પણ આત્મા પોતે અવાચ્ય નિસાસાથી આપણા માટે મધ્યસ્થી કરે છે; BSB BSB: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.
27 ULB અને અંતઃકરણ તપાસનાર જાણે છે કે આત્માની ઇચ્છા શી છે; કેમ કે તે સંતોને માટે ઈશ્વરની ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે વિનંતી કરે છે. BSB BSB: And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 ULB આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે જેઓ ઈશ્વર ઉપર પ્રેમ રાખે છે અને જેઓ તેમના સંકલ્પ પ્રમાણે તેડાયેલા છે, તેઓને એકંદરે સઘળું હિતકારક નીવડે છે. BSB BSB: And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
29 ULB કેમ કે જેઓને તેઓ અગાઉથી ઓળખતા હતા, તેઓના વિષે તેમણે પહેલેથી નક્કી પણ કર્યું હતું, કે તેઓ તેમના દીકરાની પ્રતિમા જેવા થાય, જેથી તે ઘણાં ભાઈઓમાં જયેષ્ઠ થાય. BSB BSB: For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 ULB વળી જેઓને તેમણે અગાઉથી ઠરાવ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે તેડ્યાં, જેઓને તેમણે તેડ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે ન્યાયી ઠરાવ્યાં અને જેઓને તેમણે ન્યાયી ઠરાવ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે મહિમાવંત પણ કર્યા. BSB BSB: And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
33 ULB ઈશ્વરના પસંદ કરેલા ઉપર કોણ દોષ મૂકશે? તેઓને ન્યાયી ઠરાવનાર ઈશ્વર છે; BSB BSB: Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.
34 ULB તેઓને દોષિત ઠરાવનાર કોણ? જે મૃત્યુમાંથી સજીવન થયા તે ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુ છે, તે ઈશ્વરને જમણે હાથે છે, તે આપણે માટે મધ્યસ્થી પણ કરે છે. BSB BSB: Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.
35 ULB ખ્રિસ્તનાં પ્રેમથી આપણને કોણ અલગ કરશે? શું વિપત્તિ, કે વેદના, કે સતાવણી, કે દુકાળ, કે નિ:વસ્ત્રતા, કે જોખમ, કે તલવાર? BSB BSB: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 ULB જેમ લખ્યું છે કે, ‘તારે લીધે અમે આખો દિવસ માર્યા જઈએ છીએ, કપાવાનાં ઘેટાંના જેવા અમે ગણાયેલા છીએ.’” BSB BSB: As it is written: “For Your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 ULB તોપણ જેમણે આપણને પ્રેમ કર્યો, તેના દ્વારા આપણે એ બધાં સંબંધી વિશેષ જય પામીએ છીએ. BSB BSB: No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 ULB કેમ કે મને ખાતરી છે, કે ઈશ્વરનો જે પ્રેમ આપણા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તમાં છે, તેનાથી આપણને મરણ, જીવન, સ્વર્ગદૂતો, અધિકારીઓ, વર્તમાનનું, ભવિષ્યનું, પરાક્રમીઓ, BSB BSB: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 ULB ઊંચાણ, ઊંડાણ, કે કોઈ પણ બીજી સૃજેલી વસ્તુ અલગ કરી શકશે નહિ. BSB BSB: neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
