1. 1GYLኮታ ቡር ጮይስ አብንከስ ማከን ቦንደከ ታመከ ቃስተን ኤድንከስም እድሶ ዶርሴ፥ ይ አይድን ካርያርከ ካተመን ሙደናር ክትም እርምሶ ከት አይድንግንዳ ቃስተን ቃስተን ማስሶ ከትም ኦይቼ።BSBBSB: After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit.
2. 2GYLከትም ኦይድዮ ስከርድንዳ በድዬ፥ ስክንባብከስ ማቸ ቶክመኬ፥ ኮካንታ ስከርድንደታ ባበና ስክንባብከስም ስከርድንካርዘን ኦይድንግንዳ ምክስከቴ።BSBBSB: And He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.
3. 3GYLይና አይከቴ፥ ቆልንከስግንዳ ፉገንከስታ ዎክካ የም ኦይትቴ።BSBBSB: Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
4. 4GYLየንታ ጎግንካንታ Ꮊረሰነረ Ꮊይ የደቴ፥ ብረታ ካርጭተረ Ꮊይየደቴ፥ አና ጫመረ Ꮊይ የደቴ፥ ጎግዘን Ꮊየንካንተረ አቦ ጋየረቶ የንታ ሳዓትን ጎግዘን Ꮊይ በይሰቴ።BSBBSB: Carry no purse or bag or sandals. Do not greet anyone along the road.
5. 5GYLᎺምን ኤሀረረ አርደቶ እርምሶ ኡርመና ኤሄን ኮካንታ ማታ ጋይከቴ፥BSBBSB: Whatever house you enter, begin by saying, ‘Peace to this house.’
6. 6GYLሳራትቸን ሶልምድን ኤድ ኮታር ዶቅሴ፥ የንታ ኡርመና ክታዘን ማተሬ። ኩን ማታክንዳ ማቸ የንታ ኡርመና የካንታ ማተሬ።BSBBSB: If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
7. 7GYLየካንታ እምሳንደትም ሙዳ እቸረቶ ዎጨረቶ ኮትኮ ኤሄናር ዶእከቴ፥ ፍግዝድባብ ይንታ ፍክስንታ ናክን Ꮊፍ ክትም ዝግዝዴ። ዋልቃ ኤሄናርንካ አብ ኤሄናር Ꮊይ ኦንገቴ።BSBBSB: Stay at the same house, eating and drinking whatever you are offered. For the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
8. 8GYL“Ꮊምን ካተማረረ የ አርድንካ ኤድና የም ሞክት ተዬ፥ የካንታ ከት እምሳንደትም እችከቴ።BSBBSB: If you enter a town and they welcome you, eat whatever is set before you.
9. 9GYLኮታረረ ሰቀርሶ ዶቅድባብከስመረ ፋቸረቶ፥ ‘ሳብታ ባንችምና የንደር ቅንችምቴ’ ከደር ጋይከቴ።BSBBSB: Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’
10. 10GYLኬዛርንካ ማቼ ዋልቃ ካተመናር የ አርድንካ የም ከት ሞካ ግርዴ መለንዘን ዉትሰቶ ኩን ጋይከቴ፥BSBBSB: But if you enter a town and they do not welcome you, go into the streets and declare,
11. 11GYL‘ዎንታ ዱትንዘን ዶቅድን የንታ ካተመንታ ቡልን ዎራ የካንታ ኤግዝምስ ማተርንግንዳ ጎግንዘን ዉትሶቶ ድግስተሮቴ፥ ኬዛርንካ ማቼ ሳብታ ባንችምና ቅንችሳንደትም ኮም ኤስከቴ’።BSBBSB: ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.’
12. 12GYLእታ የም ጋይድቴ፥ ሳብታ ፍርዳ ሰጨንካ ኮትኮ ካተመንዘንካ ስግስሶ ኤና ሰዶመትንዳ ፍርደና ቶክማ ማዴ እታ የም ጋይድቴ” ኩን ከደር ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
13. 13GYLኮታዘንከረ የሱስ “ኩራዝኖ የኤ! በቴሳይዶ የኤ! የንካ ይይምሳን አተና፥ ጢሮሳርንኬ ሲዶናር ይምሶ Ꮊቀስ ናና ዋር ዶቅድ Ꮊቅባብ ኤድንከስ ሞርእታ አፍለን ቆበርስንደትከ ብንድዘን ዶቅሰኮ ኤና እር ጎማ ይንታ ፍክስን ከታ ዎይዘደክ ዶቆ።BSBBSB: Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14. 14GYLኬዛርንካ ማቼ ሳብ ፍርዳ ሰጨናይካ የንዘንካ ስግስሶ ጢሮስካንተኬ ሲዶናካንታ ደጫዬ።BSBBSB: But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
15. 15GYLየነረ ቅፍራናሆሞ! ፈስ ጭላር ጬክ ጬክን ጋይሳ? ጩላ ጩልጩል ጎርናር Ꮊንቸርተራዬ”።BSBBSB: And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades!
16. 16GYLየሱስ ይንታካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከስም ይና “የም ኤሰርድባብ እም ኤሰርዴ፥ የም ሞግዳክባብ እመረ ሞካዬ፥ እመረ ሞግዳክባብ እም ኦይችባብመረ ሞካዬ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me; and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
17. 17GYLየሱሰታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብ ማከን ቦንደከ ታመከ ቃስተንንከሰረ ይ ኦይትምሳንደታርንካ ጉርምካ ማትሰኮ፥ “ጮይስዮ፥ ግምዘንከስ ዎራ የስታ ላምካ ዎካንታ ክትምክዮ” ክደር ጋይሰኬ።BSBBSB: The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
18. 18GYLየሱሰረ “ሰጣን ዋልቅንትግንዳ ጭላርንካ Ꮊንቸርድንካ ሰድቴ፥BSBBSB: So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19. 19GYLይና ጉንንኬ Ꮊንገርጭን የ ሙግድንግንዳ፥ የንታ ይምኤንባብታ ዎልቃ ሙደንዘን ገችታ ኤራ የካንታ እምትቴ፥ የም ኡፈልዝድንዳ ዋልቃ ሪየረ ዶቅተራክዬ።BSBBSB: Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.
20. 20GYLማታጋካ ዳት ቱና አያንንከስ የካንታ ክትምሳንጎካ ኮትኮካ Ꮊይጉርመቴ፥ ኬዛርንካ ማቼ የንታ ላምና ጭላር ጻፍምሳንካንታ የም ጉርምሳ” ኩን ከደር ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21. 21GYLኮትᎺይካ የሱስ ጭል አያንካ ጉርምሶ፥ “ጭለተከ ፍጨተካ ጮይስ እስታ ባቤኖ! ኮም ሙዳ ኤጨንባብከዘንከ ኤዝድባብከዘንካ አችሳዮ ይንችንከስካንታ መያ የስ ማስሳንኦል እታ የስም ጋለድቴ፥ ዬ፥ እስታ ባበኖ! ኮና የስታ ኡርማ ጋይተና ማቴ።BSBBSB: At that time Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
22. 22GYL“ሙደንዘን ገችታ ኤራ እስታ ባበንዘንካ እካንታ እምምቴ፥ ጉጅሰረ ይንችና Ꮊይ ክት ማቼረ ሳብ ባቤንዘንካ አብ ኤዝድባብ ካዬ፥ ሳብ ባቤና ክት Ꮊይናነረ ክት ይንችንዘንካ አብ አነረ ኖ ይንችና መያ ማስካንታ ክት ጋይድባብዘንካ አብ ኤዝድባብ Ꮊየነረ ካዬ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.”
23. 23GYLየሱስ ይንታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከዝደር ዋልን ጋይሶ ከትካንታ Ꮊክ፥ “የ ሰድንደትም ሰድን አፍንከስ አንጅምስባበኬ፥BSBBSB: Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24. 24GYLእታ የም ጋይድቴ፥ ሳብዘንካ ኤሰርሶ ኬዛቅባብከስኬ ባንችምንከስ የ ሰድንደትም ሰድንካንታ ዝግሰኮ ሰዳከኬ፥ የ ኤሰርድንደትመረ ኤስርካንታ ዝግሰኮ ኤሰራከኬ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
25. 25GYLይና ዋልቃሰጭ፥ ዋልቃ ሙሴታ ህግን ኤዝድባብ የሱሰም ጰጫካንታ አምሶ፥ “ኤስስንባቦ! ስለንክንደታ ዶቅንትንም ተይካንታ Ꮊርስ ይቴ?” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
26. 26GYLየሱሰረ “ሙሴታ ህግ ማጻፍናር ጻፍምሳንዳ Ꮊራ? Ꮊሰስ ኮትም ናበብዳ?” ጋየሮ ክትካንታ ማስሴ።BSBBSB: “What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?”
27. 27GYLኤችነረ ማስሶ፥ “የስታ ጮይስ ሳብም ቦድማ ቡዳርንካ፥ ቦድማ የስታ ሰንፔንካ፥ ቦድማ ዎልቀከ ቦድማ የስታ ገቅርንካ ሶልምካ፥ የስታ የለን የስታ ማታግንዳ ሶልምካ ጋይዴ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
28. 28GYLየሱሰረ፥ “ገታ ጋይሰዬ፥ የነረ ኮትግንዳ ይካ! ስለንካ ዶቅንተን Ꮊፍተራዬ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this and you will live.”
29. 29GYLኖ ኤችነረ ይንታ ማተንም ጭል ማስካንታ ዝግሶ፥ “ይና እስታ የለንከስ Ꮊይራ?” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30. 30GYLየሱሰረ “ዋልቃ ኤች የሩሳሌም ካተመናርንካ ኢያርኮ ካተመናር Ꮊንቸርድዮ ፋንገንከሰታ አንያር የድምሴ፥ አፍለንመረ ክታ ዉችሶ ጉጵሰኬ፥ ደእካንታ ክት ይድንካ ዛቅሶ አይሰኬ።BSBBSB: Jesus took up this question and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.
31. 31GYLኤች ዋልቃ ቄሳ ይንታ ጋይሶ ጎግንኮትካ ጩላ Ꮊንቸርድዮ ኤችንም ሰድሶ Ꮊርን ጋይሶ ስገዴ።BSBBSB: Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32. 32GYLኮትኮግንደረ ዋልቃ ለዊ። ኮትኮ ካርንዘን የልሶ ኤችንም ሰድሶ Ꮊርን ጋይሶ ስገዴ።BSBBSB: So too, when a Levite came to that spot and saw him, he passed by on the other side.
33. 33GYLዋልቃ ሳማራ ካተማ ኤችና ማቼ ይንታ ጋይሶ ጎግንም ክት አይድንካ ኤችና ዶቅድንካርንዘን የልሴ። ክትም ይ ሰዳንግንዳ አጨርሴ፥BSBBSB: But a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, and when he saw him, he had compassion.
34. 34GYLክደር ቅንችሰረ ክታ ድድንዘን ዛይተከ ዎይን Ꮊቀንታ አፍዘንካ ጩጰርሳንደትም ዉልእሶ ዞክሴ። ይንታ ኡክልንዘን ዶቅስሶ ሶችንከስታ Ꮊዉስ ኤሄናር ተይ አይሶ ኮታረረ ክትም ጱልጬ።BSBBSB: He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35. 35GYLዛማክንከረ ቃስተን ጣገራ ብራ ዉችትዮ ሶችንከስታ Ꮊዉስ ኤሄንባብካንታ እምሶ፥ ‘ኤችንኮም ዋደ ሰቅስካ፥ ኮዘንካ ስግ የስ ዉችሳንደትመረ እታ ማድቶ የስካንታ ናግድቴ’ ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’
36. 36GYL“ይና ከትኬና ማከንናርንካ ፋንገንከስታ አንናር ጉጰርስባብ ኤችንታ የላ ማችባብ Ꮊምና የስም ካምዳ?” ኩንጋየሮ ክትካንታ ማስሴ።BSBBSB: Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37. 37GYLሙሴታ ህግንም ኤዝድባበረ “ክትካንታ አጨርስባብ ዳት” ጋይሴ። የሱሰረ “የነረ አይሳዮ ኮትኮግንዳ ይካ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law. Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
38. 38GYLየሱሰከ ክታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከስ ጎግ ከት አይድንካ ዋልቃ ሞራር የልሴ፥ ማርታ ጋይምሳንዳ ዋልቃ ኤተነረ ይንታ ኤሪ ክትም ሞክሴ።BSBBSB: As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
39. 39GYLኮተረ ማራም ጋይምድንዳ ምችነና ዶቅዴ። ማራመረ ቃለንም ኤሰረሮ የሱሰታ ዱትንታ ጎያር ዶቅሶ Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to His message.
40. 40GYLማርታ ማቼ ፍክስታ በድምዘንካ አምሳንዳ ታንታን ጋየሮ ክደር Ꮊድሶ፥ “እስታ ጮይስኖ! እስታ ምችነና ፍክስንም እዘንᎺክ ዛቅሶ ኮት ዶቅድንካ ጫምነስ ጋይዶ? እም አላ አልድንግንዳ ኮትም ኬዝካ” ክትም ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: But Martha was distracted by all the preparations to be made. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me!”
41. 41GYLጮይስ የሱስ “ማርቶ! ማርቶ! የና በድ ርካንታ ማጠርዳዬ፥ አዉልዳዬ፥BSBBSB: “Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things.
42. 42GYLየስም ዝግዝድንዳ ማቸ ዋልቃ እር Ꮊክዬ፥ ማራማ ማቼ ይም ኡርድንደትም ይንተን ና እቴ፥ ኮነረ ኮታዘንካ ተይምዳክዬ” ኩንጋየሮ ኮደር ማስሴ።BSBBSB: But only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”
