1. 1GYLክታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከስ ጋፋክዶቆ ዳቅሶ ሙዳᎺይካ ምክስ ከትም ዝግዝድንደትም ኤስስካንታ የሱስ ኮም ካምስንከስም ከትካንታ ኬዜ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart:
2. 2GYLኩነረ ከደር ጋይሴ፥ ዋልቃ ካተመናር ዶቅድባብ ሳብም ጳዝዳክባብኬ ኤድመረ ቦንጅዳክባብ ዋልቃ ዳይና Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected men.
3. 3GYLኮትኮ ካተመናር ዶቅድንዳ ዋልቃ ኤተን ቡድና Ꮊቄ፥ ናየረ እስታ ይምኤንባብካ ክክን ዶቅድን ኬዘንታ ፋረድካ ጋየሮ ክደር ካርንካ ካርንካ ማተሮ Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’
4. 4GYLዳይነነረ በድᎺይካ ኮታ ኬዘንም ኤሰራክዬ፥ ዋልቃሰጭ ይንታ ቡዳር፥ Ꮊረነረ ሳብም እ ጳሳይ ናንከረ፥ ኤድመረ እ ቦንቻይ ናንከረ!BSBBSB: For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect men,
5. 5GYL“ናኮና ኤተን ቡድነና እዝደር ኮት ጫንጭድን ኦል ኮትካንታ ፋረትቴ፥ ኩን እ ይያክንዳ ማቼ ሙዳᎺይካ Ꮊደሮ እም ዘርዝዴ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice. Otherwise, she will wear me out with her perpetual requests.’”
6. 6GYLጮይሰረ፥ “ዳቅል ዳይነና ጋይሳንደትም ገቀርከቴ።BSBBSB: And the Lord said, “Listen to the words of the unjust judge.
7. 7GYLይና ሳብ Ꮊየከ ሶይትካ ክደር ፍብድባብ እድምስባብከስካንታ ፋረዳዮ? ሙደንዘንካ ስክስሶ ከትም እልን ጋይተሮ?BSBBSB: Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay in helping them?
8. 8GYLእታ የም ጋይድቴ፥ ሳነርሶ ከትካንታ ፋረተሬ፥ ኬዛርንካ ማቼ ኤደት ይንችና Ꮊድንደትካ ፍጨዘን አሜንን Ꮊፍተር ዳቶ?” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”
9. 9GYLከታ ይንታ ማተንም ዶፈንንባብከስግንዳ ፋይድንተካ ጬቅድባብከስኬ አብንከስም ቶቸካ ሰድባብ ኤድንከስካንታ ኩንጋየሮ ኮም ካምስንከስም ከትካንታ ኬዜ፥BSBBSB: To some who trusted in their own righteousness and viewed others with contempt, He also told this parable:
10. 10GYL“ቃስተን ኤድ ምክስካንታ ሳብታ ጭል ኤሄናር አይሰኬ፥ ዋልቀና ፈረሳውያን፥ ቃስትምስና ቃረጭን ተችዝድባብ Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11. 11GYLፈረሳዊያንና ዎእሶ ይንታ ቡደናር ኩንጋየሮ ምግዝድ Ꮊቄ፥ ‘ሳብዮ! እታ አብ ኤድንከስግንዳ ቡራባብ፥ ኤእዳክባብ፥ ማነም ኦካ ኦንግድባብ፥ ስክስሰረ ክትኮ ቃረጭን ተችዝድባብግንዳ እ ማታክንኦል እታ የስም ጋለድቴ፥BSBBSB: The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.
12. 12GYLሳምንታር ቃስተን ዱት በቼካ ምግዝድቴ፥ እ Ꮊብድን ሪ ሙደናርንካ ታሜናርንካ ዋልቀን ዉጅድቴ።BSBBSB: I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’
13. 13GYL“ቃረጭን ተችዝድባብ ማቼ ጎትካ ዎእሶ፥ ጭላር ጬክን ጋይሶ ሰድንካንተረ ዎራ ዝጋክዬ፥ ኬዛርንካ ማቸ ኦንገዝን ይንታ ጎደሮ ‘ሳብዮ፥ እ ጎመንባብም ማርካ’ ጋየሮ Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’
14. 14GYL“እታ የም ጋይድቴ፥ ፈረሳውያንንከዘንካ ስክስሶ ኮና ሳብታ እሪ ጭል ማትሶ ይንታ ኤር ኖ ማቼ፥ ይንታ ማተንም ጬክ ጬክሳ ይድባብ ሙደና ይርክን ጋይተሬ፥ ይንታማተንም ይርክ ይርክሳ ይድባብ ማቼ ጬክን ጋይተሬ”።BSBBSB: I tell you, this man, rather than the Pharisee, went home justified. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
15. 15GYLየሱስ ከታዘን ይንታ አንን ዎድንግንዳ ኤድንከስ ይንችንከስም ክደር ተይ Ꮊድ Ꮊቀኬ፥ ክታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከሰረ ኮም ሰድሰኮ ከትም ዋጨኬ።BSBBSB: Now people were even bringing their babies to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them. And when the disciples saw this, they rebuked those who brought them.
16. 16GYLየሱስ ማቼ ይንችንከስም ይንደር ኤልሶ፥ “ይንችና እዝደር ከት Ꮊድንግንዳ ጋይከቴ፥ Ꮊይማረቴ፥ ሳብታ ባንችምና ከትከናከስግንደንቴ።BSBBSB: But Jesus called the children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
17. 17GYLዶፈን የም ጋይድቴ! ሳብታ ባንቺምን ይንችንምግንዳ ተይዳክባብ ሙደና ቦድሶ ኮታር አርዳዬ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
18. 18GYLአይሁድንከስታ ገችንባብታርንካ ዋልቀና፥ “Ꮊልስማ ኤስስንባቦ! ስለንክንደታ ዶቅንተንም ተይካንታ Ꮊርስ ይቴ?” ጋየሮ ኦይሴ።BSBBSB: Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
19. 19GYLየሱሰረ፥ “Ꮊረተስ እም Ꮊልስማ ጋይዳ? ዋልቃ ሳብንዘንካ Ꮊልስማ Ꮊየነረ ካዬ፥BSBBSB: “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone.
20. 20GYL‘ማነንም Ꮊይ ኦካ ኦንጌ፥ Ꮊይ ደይሴ፥ Ꮊይ ድቤ፥ ካርከካ Ꮊይማርከሬ፥ የስታ ባበንምከ እንደንም ቦንችካ’ ጋይድንደትም ክተንም የና ኤዝደዬ” ኩንጋየሮ ክትካንታ ማስሴ።BSBBSB: You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.’”
21. 21GYLኤችነረ፥ “ከናከስ ክተንም እስታ ይንችርንካ የድስቶ ካርስትቴ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “All these I have kept from my youth,” he said.
22. 22GYLየሱሰረ ኮም ይ ኤሰርሳንደትካ፥ “ይና ዋልቃ እር የዝደር ነገዴ፥ የስታ ዶቅድንደትም ሙዳ ሰንሳዮ ርካየንባብከስካንታ እምካ፥ ጭላር የስታ ቆልማ ዶቅተሬ፥ ኮታዘንከረ Ꮊድሰዮ እም ጎርስምካ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
23. 23GYLኤችና ማቸ ኮም ኤሰርሶ፥ በድ ቆልማ ክታ ዶቅድንካንታ አንድር ሞርእሴ።BSBBSB: But when the ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was extremely wealthy.
24. 24GYLየሱሰረ ኤችና ሞርእሳን ሰድሶ፥ “በድ ቆልማ ዶቅድባብከስካንታ ሳብ ባንችማር አርድንታ Ꮊስግንዳ ማጠሬ?BSBBSB: Seeing the man’s sadness, Jesus said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!
25. 25GYLቆልመንባብ ሳብታ ባንችምናር አርድንደትዘንካ ስግሶ ግመል ማርፈታ ጩቅንካ አርደደስናና ኡርዴ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
26. 26GYLኮም ኤሰርሳን ኤድንከሰረ፥ “ይና Ꮊይ አቅተራ?” ጋይሰኬ።BSBBSB: Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
27. 27GYLየሱሰረ፥ “ኤደር ማዳክንዳ ሳብደር ማተዴ” ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: But Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
28. 28GYLጴጥሮሰረ፥ “ይና ዎታ ዎንታ ዶቅድር ሙዳ ዛቅሶቶ የስም ጎርስምሶቴ” ክደር ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “Look,” said Peter, “we have left all we had to follow You.”
29. 29GYLየሱሰረ፥ “ዶፈን እታ የም ጋይድቴ፥ ሳብታ ባንችምንካንታ ጋይሶ ይንታ ኤሄንም ናንከረ ይንታ ኬነንም ናንከረ ይንታ እስመንከስም ናንከረ ይንታ ባበንምከ እንደንም አነረ ይንታ ይንችን ዛቅስባብBSBBSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God
30. 30GYLኮ ስለናር በድ ጉጅምሳንደትም፥ Ꮊድን ስለናረረ ስለንክንደትም ሰንፐን ተይዳክባብ Ꮊየነረ ካዬ” ኩን ከደር ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
31. 31GYLየሱሰረ ታመከ ቃስተን ይንታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከስም Ꮊክ ከትም ተይ አይሶ፥ “ይና የሩሳሌም ካተመናር ዉትካንታ ይዶቴ፥ ሳብዘንካ ኤስርሶ ኬዛቅባብ ኤድ ይንችንጎካ ጻፍምሳንደረ ሙዳ ኮታር ቦድምዴ።BSBBSB: Then Jesus took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the prophets have written about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
32. 32GYLአይሁድ ማታክባብከስካንታ ስክስት ክትም እምተረኬ፥ ከተረ Ꮊልተርካ ክታዘን ከዝተረኬ፥ ክትም የክተረኬ፥ ክታዘን ፈጭምተረኬ።BSBBSB: He will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.
33. 33GYLክትም ከታ ይ Ꮊርጃንደታ ቡር ደይስተረኬ፥ ኖየረ ማክምስ ሰጭንካ ደእናርንካ አምተሬ” ኩን ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: They will flog Him and kill Him, and on the third day He will rise again.”
34. 34GYLክታ ካርንካ ጎርስምድባብከስ ማቼ ኮ ሙደናርንካ ከት ኤሳንዳ ዋልቃ ሪየረ ካዬ፥ ክታ ጋይተነረ ከታዘንካ አችምሶ Ꮊቄ፥ Ꮊረታ ክት ኬዛ ናንከረ ኤሳከኬ።BSBBSB: But the disciples did not understand any of these things. The meaning was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what He was saying.
35. 35GYLየሱስ ኢያርኮ ካተመናር ክት የልሳንደትካ፥ ዋልቃ አፊይ ዝል ጎግታ ካንተዘን ዶቅሶ ምግዝድ Ꮊቄ።BSBBSB: As Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting beside the road, begging.
36. 36GYLአፍይ ዝልነረ ዎርሰና ኮትኮ ጎግንካ ከት ስገድንካ ኤስርሶ “ኮና Ꮊራ?” ጋይሶ ኦይሴ።BSBBSB: When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.
37. 37GYLከተረ፥ “ናዝረታርንክንባብ የሱስ ኮካ ስጋዶቅዴ” ጋይሶ ክትም ኬዘኬ።BSBBSB: “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by,” they told him.
38. 38GYLኖየረ፥ “ዳውተታ ይንችን የሱሶ! እም አጨርካ!” ጋየሮ ፍፍሴ።BSBBSB: So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39. 39GYLእር አያዶቅድን ኤድንከስ ጫምን ክት ጋይድንግንዳ ክትም ዋጨኬ። ኖ ማቼ “ዳውተታ ይንችኖ! እም አጨርካ!” ጋየሮ አንድርካ ፍፍሴ።BSBBSB: Those who led the way admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
40. 40GYLየሱሰረ የዝግን ጋይሶ ኤችንም ክደር ከት ተይ Ꮊድንግንዳ ክትሴ። ክደር ክት የልሳንደትካ፥BSBBSB: Jesus stopped and directed that the man be brought to Him. When he had come near, Jesus asked him,
41. 41GYLየሱስ “Ꮊራ እ ይያባበስ ዝግዳ?” ጋይሶ ክትም ኦይሴ። አፍይ ዝልነረ፥ “ባቦ! ሰድንካንታ ዝግድቴ” ክደር ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “What do you want Me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “let me see again.”
42. 42GYLየሱሰረ፥ “ሰድካ! የስታ አሜንና የስም አቅስቴ” ክትም ጋይሴ።BSBBSB: “Receive your sight!” Jesus replied. “Your faith has healed you.”
43. 43GYLኤችነረ ሳነካ ሰጄ፥ ሳብመረ ቦንቸሮ የሱሰም ጎርስምሴ። ዎርሰነረ ሙዳ ኮም ሰደረኮ ሳብም ጋለቸኬ።BSBBSB: Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
