1 HMB פולוס השליח לא מבני אדם ולא על ידי בן אדם כי אם על ידי ישוע המשיח ואלהים האב אשר העירו מן המתים׃ BSB BSB: Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead—
2 HMB וכל האחים אשר עמדי אל הקהלות אשר בגלטיא׃ BSB BSB: and all the brothers with me, To the churches of Galatia:
3 HMB חסד לכם ושלום מאת האלהים אבינו ומאת אדנינו ישוע המשיח׃ BSB BSB: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,
4 HMB אשר נתן את נפשו בעד חטאתינו לחלצנו מן העולם הרע הזה כרצון אלהינו אבינו׃ BSB BSB: who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
5 HMB אשר לו הכבוד לעולמי עולמים אמן׃ BSB BSB: to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
7 HMB והיא איננה אחרת רק שיש אנשים העכרים אתכם וחפצים להפך את בשורת המשיח׃ BSB BSB: which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ.
9 HMB כמו שאמרנו כבר כן אמר עתה עוד הפעם איש כי יבשר אתכם בשורה מבלעדי אשר קבלתם חרם יהיה׃ BSB BSB: As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be under a curse!
10 HMB ועתה המתרצה אנכי אל בני אדם אם אל האלהים או המבקש אנכי למצא חן בעיני בני אדם כי במצאי חן בעיני בני אדם לא אהיה עוד עבד המשיח׃ BSB BSB: Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
11 HMB אבל מודיע אני אתכם אחי כי הבשורה אשר בשרתי לא לפי דרך אדם היא׃ BSB BSB: For I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached was not devised by man.
12 HMB כי גם אנכי לא קבלתיה מאדם ולא למדוני אתה כי אם בחזיון ישוע המשיח׃ BSB BSB: I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
14 HMB ואהי הולך וחזק בדת היהודית על רבים מבני גילי בעמי בקנאתי הגדולה לקבלות אבותי׃ BSB BSB: I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 HMB אך כאשר היה רצון האלהים אשר הבדיל אתי מרחם אמי ויקראני בחסדו׃ BSB BSB: But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased
16 HMB לגלות בי את בנו שאבשרנו בגוים מיד לא נועצתי עם בשר ודם׃ BSB BSB: to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not rush to consult with flesh and blood,
17 HMB גם לא עליתי ירושלים אל אשר היו שליחים לפני כי אם הלכתי לערב ומשם שבתי אל דמשק׃ BSB BSB: nor did I go up to Jerusalem to the apostles who came before me, but I went into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.
20 HMB ואשר אני כתב אליכם הנה נגד האלהים כי לא אכזב׃ BSB BSB: I assure you before God that what I am writing to you is no lie.
21 HMB אחרי כן באתי אל גלילות סוריא וקיליקיא׃ BSB BSB: Later I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
22 HMB אבל קהלות יהודה אשר במשיח הנה לא ידעו את פני׃ BSB BSB: I was personally unknown, however, to the churches of Judea that are in Christ.
23 HMB רק זאת בלבד שמעו כי האיש ההוא אשר היה רדף אתנו מאז עתה הוא מבשר את האמונה אשר האבידה מלפנים׃ BSB BSB: They only heard the account: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”
24 HMB ויהללו בי את האלהים׃ BSB BSB: And they glorified God because of me.
