1. 1HMBויאמר אל תלמידיו אי אפשר שלא יבאו המכשלים אבל אוי לאיש אשר על ידו יבאו׃BSBBSB: Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come!
2. 2HMBנוח לו שיתלה פלח רכב על צוארו וישלך אל הים מאשר יכשיל את אחד מהקטנים wאלה׃BSBBSB: It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3. 3HMBהשמרו לנפשותיכם אם יחטא לך אחיך הוכח לו ואם ינחם סלח לו׃BSBBSB: Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4. 4HMBואם יחטא לך שבע פעמים ביום ושב אליך שבע פעמים ביום ואמר נחמתי וסלחת לו׃BSBBSB: Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to say, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
5. 5HMBויאמרו השליחים אל האדון הוסף לנו אמונה׃BSBBSB: The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
6. 6HMBויאמר האדון לו היתה לכם אמונה כגרגר החרדל אז תאמרו אל התות הזה העקר והנטע בתוך הים וישמע לכם׃BSBBSB: And the Lord answered, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.
7. 7HMBמי הוא זה מכם ולו עבד חרש או רעה אשר בבאו מן השדה יאמר אליו מהר גשה הנה והסב׃BSBBSB: Which of you whose servant comes in from plowing or shepherding in the field will say to him, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
8. 8HMBהלא יאמר אליו הכן לי ארוחת הערב וחגר מתניך ושרתני עד אם כליתי לאכל ולשתות ואחר תאכל ותשתה גם אתה׃BSBBSB: Instead, won’t he tell him, ‘Prepare my meal and dress yourself to serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you may eat and drink’?
9. 9HMBהגם יתן תודה לעבד על עשתו את אשר צוהו אמרתי לא יתן׃BSBBSB: Does he thank the servant because he did what he was told?
10. 10HMBככה גם אתם אחרי עשותכם את כל אשר צויתם אמרו עבדים אין מועיל בם אנחנו כי רק את המטל עלינו לעשות עשינו׃BSBBSB: So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”
11. 11HMBויהי בנסעו ירושלים והוא עבר בתוך שמרון והגליל׃BSBBSB: While Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem, He was passing between Samaria and Galilee.
12. 12HMBויבא אל כפר אחד ויפגעהו עשרה אנשים מצרעים והם עמדים מרחוק׃BSBBSB: As He entered one of the villages, He was met by ten lepers. They stood at a distance
13. 13HMBוישאו את קולם לאמר ישוע מורה חננו׃BSBBSB: and raised their voices, shouting, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14. 14HMBוירא אותם ויאמר אליהם לכו והראו אל הכהנים ויהי בלכתם ויטהרו׃BSBBSB: When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were on their way, they were cleansed.
15. 15HMBואחד מהם בראתו כי נרפא וישב וישבח את האלהים בקול גדול׃BSBBSB: When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back, praising God in a loud voice.
16. 16HMBויפל על פניו לרגליו ויודה לו והוא היה שמרוני׃BSBBSB: He fell facedown at Jesus’ feet in thanksgiving to Him—and he was a Samaritan.
17. 17HMBויען ישוע ויאמר הלא העשרה טהרו והתשעה איה הם׃BSBBSB: “Were not all ten cleansed?” Jesus asked. “Where then are the other nine?
18. 18HMBהאם לא נמצא אשר שב לתת כבוד לאלהים זולתי הנכרי הזה׃BSBBSB: Was no one found except this foreigner to return and give glory to God?”
19. 19HMBויאמר אליו קום ולך אמונתך הושיעה לך׃BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well!”
20. 20HMBוישאלהו הפרושים מתי תבוא מלכות האלהים ויען אתם לאמר מלכות האלהים לא תבוא במראה עינים׃BSBBSB: When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs.
21. 21HMBולא יאמרו הנה פה או הנה שם כי מלכות האלהים הנה בקרבכם היא׃BSBBSB: Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22. 22HMBויאמר אל התלמידים ימים באים והתאויתם לראות יום אחד מימי בן האדם ולא תראו׃BSBBSB: Then He said to the disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.
23. 23HMBואם יאמרו אליכם הנה שם הנה פה אל תלכו ואל תרוצו אחריהם׃BSBBSB: People will tell you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them.
24. 24HMBכי כברק אשר יברק מקצה השמים ויאיר עד קצה השמים כן יהיה בן האדם ביומו׃BSBBSB: For just as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will be the Son of Man in His day.
25. 25HMBאך בראשונה צריך הוא לסבל הרבה ולהמאס מן הדור הזה׃BSBBSB: But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26. 26HMBוכאשר היה נח כן יהיה בימי בן האדם׃BSBBSB: Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man:
27. 27HMBאכלו ושתו נשאו נשים והשיאו נשים לאנשים עד היום אשר בא נח אל התבה ויבא המבול וישחת את כלם׃BSBBSB: People were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
28. 28HMBוכאשר היה בימי לוט אכל ושתה קנה ומכר נטע ובנה׃BSBBSB: It was the same in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
29. 29HMBויהי ביום אשר יצא לוט מסדום וימטר אש וגפרית מן השמים וישחת את כלם׃BSBBSB: But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
30. 30HMBככה יהיה ביום אשר יגלה בן האדם׃BSBBSB: It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31. 31HMBביום ההוא איש אשר יהיה על הגג וכליו בבית אל ירד לשאת אתם ואיש אשר בשדה אל ישב הביתה׃BSBBSB: On that day, let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve his possessions. Likewise, let no one in the field return for anything he has left behind.
32. 32HMBזכרו את אשת לוט׃BSBBSB: Remember Lot’s wife!
33. 33HMBהמבקש למלט את נפשו יאבדנה ואשר יאבד אתה יהיה׃BSBBSB: Whoever tries to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34. 34HMBאני אמר לכם בלילה ההוא שנים יהיו במטה אחת האחד יאסף והאחר יעזב׃BSBBSB: I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed: one will be taken and the other left.
35. 35HMBשתים תהיינה טחנות יחד האחת תאסף והאחרת תעזב׃BSBBSB: Two women will be grinding grain together: one will be taken and the other left.”
36. 36HMBשנים יהיו בשדה ונאסף האחד והאחר יעזב׃BSBBSB: Not in the BSB

37. 37HMBויענו ויאמרו אליו איה זאת אדנינו ויאמר אליהם באשר הפגר שם יקבצו הנשרים׃BSBBSB: “Where, Lord?” they asked. Jesus answered, “Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.”
