1. 1HMBוישב ויבאו אל בית הכנסת ושם איש אשר ידו יבשה׃BSBBSB: Once again Jesus entered the synagogue, and a man with a withered hand was there.
2. 2HMBויתבוננו בו אם ירפאהו בשבת למען ימצאו עליו שטנה׃BSBBSB: In order to accuse Jesus, they were watching to see if He would heal on the Sabbath.
3. 3HMBויאמר אל האיש אשר יבשה ידו קום עמד בתוך׃BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to the man with the withered hand, “Stand up among us.”
4. 4HMBויאמר אליהם הנכון בשבת להיטיב או להרע להציל נפש או לאבדה ויחרישו׃BSBBSB: And He asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?” But they were silent.
5. 5HMBויבט אליהם סביב בחמה ויתעצב על טמטום לבבם ויאמר אל האיש פשט את ידך ויפשט ידו ותרפא ותשב כאחרת׃BSBBSB: Jesus looked around at them with anger and sorrow at their hardness of heart. Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and it was restored.
6. 6HMBוהפרושים יצאו מהרה ויתיעצו עליו עם ההורדוסיים לאבדו׃BSBBSB: At this, the Pharisees went out and began plotting with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.
7. 7HMBוישוע סר משם עם תלמידיו אל יד הים וילכו אחריו המון עם רב מן הגליל ומיהודה׃BSBBSB: So Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea, accompanied by a large crowd from Galilee, Judea,
8. 8HMBומירושלים ומאדום ומעבר הירדן ומסביבות צור וצידון המון רב אשר שמעו את כל אשר עשה ויבאו אליו׃BSBBSB: Jerusalem, Idumea, the region beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and Sidon. The large crowd came to Him when they heard what great things He was doing.
9. 9HMBויאמר אל תלמידיו כי יכינו לו אניה קטנה מפני העם למען לא ילחצוהו׃BSBBSB: Jesus asked His disciples to have a boat ready for Him so that the crowd would not crush Him.
10. 10HMBכי רפא לרבים עד כי התנפלו עליו כל המנגעים לנגע בו׃BSBBSB: For He had healed so many that all who had diseases were pressing forward to touch Him.
11. 11HMBוהרוחות הטמאות כראותן אתו נפלו לפניו ותצעקנה לאמר אתה הוא בן אלהים׃BSBBSB: And when the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him and cried out, “You are the Son of God!”
12. 12HMBויגער בהן מאד אשר לא תגלינה אותו׃BSBBSB: But He warned them sternly not to make Him known.
13. 13HMBויעל אל ההר ויקרא אל אשר הוא חפץ בם ויבאו אליו׃BSBBSB: Then Jesus went up on the mountain and called for those He wanted, and they came to Him.
14. 14HMBוישם שנים עשר איש למען יהיו אתו ולמען ישלחם לקרא׃BSBBSB: He appointed twelve of them, whom He designated as apostles, to accompany Him, to be sent out to preach,
15. 15HMBוהיה להם השלטן לרפא את התחלאים ולגרש את השדים׃BSBBSB: and to have authority to drive out demons.
16. 16HMBויכנה את שמעון בשם פטרוס׃BSBBSB: These are the twelve He appointed: Simon (whom He named Peter),
17. 17HMBואת יעקב בן זבדי ואת יוחנן אחי יעקב ויכנה אתם בשם בני רגוש הוא בני רעם׃BSBBSB: James son of Zebedee and his brother John (whom He named Boanerges, meaning “Sons of Thunder”),
18. 18HMBואת אנדרי ואת פילפוס ואת בר תלמי ואת מתי ואת תומא ואת יעקב בן חלפי ואת תדי ואת שמעון הקני׃BSBBSB: Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot,
19. 19HMBואת יהודה איש קריות אשר גם מסרו׃BSBBSB: and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
20. 20HMBויבאו הביתה וישב המון העם להתאסף עד כי לא יכלו אף לאכל לחם׃BSBBSB: Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered, so that He and His disciples could not even eat.
21. 21HMBוישמעו קרוביו ויצאו להחזיק בו כי אמרו יצא מדעתו׃BSBBSB: When His family heard about this, they went out to take custody of Him, saying, “He is out of His mind.”
22. 22HMBוהסופרים אשר ירדו מירושלים אמרו כי בעל זבוב נכנס בו ועל ידי שר השדים הוא מגרש את השדים׃BSBBSB: And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons He drives out demons.”
23. 23HMBויקרא אותם אליו וידבר להם במשלים לאמר איך יוכל השטן לגרש השטן׃BSBBSB: So Jesus called them together and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?
24. 24HMBואם נחלקה ממלכה על עצמה לא תוכל לעמד הממלכה ההיא׃BSBBSB: If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand.
25. 25HMBובית אם נחלק על עצמו לא יוכל לעמד הבית ההוא׃BSBBSB: If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.
26. 26HMBואם השטן יתקומם אל עצמו ונחלק לא יוכל לעמד כי בא קצו׃BSBBSB: And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come.
27. 27HMBאין איש אשר יכל לבוא לבית הגבור ולגזל את כליו אם לא יאסר בראשונה את הגבור ואחר ישסה את ביתו׃BSBBSB: Indeed, no one can enter a strong man’s house to steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can plunder his house.
28. 28HMBאמן אמר אני לכם כי כל החטאים יסלחו לבני אדם וכל הגדופים אשר יגדפו׃BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, the sons of men will be forgiven all sins and blasphemies, as many as they utter.
29. 29HMBאך המגדף את רוח הקדש אין לו סליחה לעולם כי יאשם בעונו לנצח׃BSBBSB: But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of eternal sin.”
30. 30HMBכי המה אמרו רוח טמאה בו׃BSBBSB: Jesus made this statement because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
31. 31HMBויבאו אמו ואחיו ויעמדו מחוץ לבית וישלחו אליו לקרא לו׃BSBBSB: Then Jesus’ mother and brothers came and stood outside. They sent someone in to summon Him,
32. 32HMBוהמון העם ישבו סביביו ויאמרו אליו הנה אמך ואחיך בחוץ מבקשים אותך׃BSBBSB: and a crowd was sitting around Him. “Look,” He was told, “Your mother and brothers are outside, asking for You.”
33. 33HMBויען ויאמר אליהם מי הם אמי ואחי׃BSBBSB: But Jesus replied, “Who are My mother and My brothers?”
34. 34HMBויבט סביב אל הישבים סביביו ויאמר הנה אמי ואחי׃BSBBSB: Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!
35. 35HMBכי כל אשר יעשה רצון האלהים הוא אחי ואחותי ואמי׃BSBBSB: For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”
