1 HGLT इसलिए अन्ततः हे भाइयों, हम प्रभु यीशु में तुम से विनती करते और समझाते हैं, कि जैसा तुम ने हम से इस विषय में ग्रहण किया, कि तुम्हारे लिए योग्य चाल चलना और परमेश्वर को प्रसन्न करना कितना आवश्यक है(जैसा कि तुम चलते भी हो), ताकि तुम और भी बढ़ते जाओ। BSB BSB: Finally, brothers, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus to live in a way that is pleasing to God, just as you have received from us. This is how you already live, so you should do so all the more.
2 HGLT क्योंकि तुम जानते हो कि हम ने प्रभु यीशु के द्वारा तुम्हें कौन- सी आज्ञाएँ दी हैं। BSB BSB: For you know the instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
3 HGLT क्योंकि तुम्हारा पवित्रीकरण, यह परमेश्वर की इच्छा है: तुम्हें यौन अनैतिकता से दूर रखना; BSB BSB: For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality;
4 HGLT कि तुम में से हर एक जन यह जान ले कि पवित्रता और आदर के साथ वह अपने पात्र का अधिकारी है, BSB BSB: each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor,
5 HGLT वासना की लालसा में नहीं(ठीक वैसे ही जैसे अन्यजाति भी करते हैं जो परमेश्वर को नहीं जानते हैं); BSB BSB: not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God;
6 HGLT कि कोई जन इस मामले में अपने भाई का उल्लंघन और शोषण न करे, क्योंकि प्रभु इन सब बातों का पलटा लेने वाला है, जैसा कि हम ने भी तुम को पहले से चिताया और गवाही दी थी। BSB BSB: and no one should ever violate or exploit his brother in this regard, because the Lord will avenge all such acts, as we have already told you and solemnly warned you.
7 HGLT क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने हमें अशुद्धता के लिए नहीं, परन्तु पवित्रता में बुलाया है। BSB BSB: For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness.
8 HGLT इसलिए जो व्यक्ति इसे अस्वीकार करता है, वह मनुष्य को नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर को अस्वीकार करता है जो अपनी पवित्र आत्मा तुम्हें प्रदान करता है। BSB BSB: Anyone, then, who rejects this command does not reject man but God, the very One who gives you His Holy Spirit.
9 HGLT परन्तु भाईचारे के प्रेम के विषय में{ हमें} तुम्हें लिखने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं, क्योंकि तुम को एक दूसरे से प्रेम करना परमेश्वर के द्वारा सिखाया गया है। BSB BSB: Now about brotherly love, you do not need anyone to write to you, because you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another.
10 HGLT क्योंकि वास्तव में तुम सम्पूर्ण मकिदुनिया में रहने वाले सब भाइयों से ऐसा ही करते हो। परन्तु हे भाइयों, हम तुम्हें समझाते हैं कि ऐसा और भी अधिक करो BSB BSB: And you are indeed showing this love to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to excel more and more
11 HGLT और शान्ति से जीवन व्यतीत करने, और अपने स्वयं के कार्यों को करने, और अपने हाथों से काम करने का प्रयास करो, जैसी हम ने तुम्हें आज्ञा दी थी, BSB BSB: and to aspire to live quietly, to attend to your own matters, and to work with your own hands, as we instructed you.
12 HGLT ताकि तुम उन बाहर वालों के सामने सही रीति से चल सको और किसी चीज की आवश्यकता में न पड़ो। BSB BSB: Then you will behave properly toward outsiders, without being dependent on anyone.
14 HGLT क्योंकि यदि हम मानते हैं, कि यीशु मरा और फिर जी उठा, तो परमेश्वर उनको भी उसके साथ ले आएगा जो यीशु के द्वारा सो गए हैं। BSB BSB: For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.
15 HGLT क्योंकि हम तुम से प्रभु के वचन के द्वारा यह कहते हैं, कि हम जो जीवित हैं, जो प्रभु के आगमन तक पीछे रह गए हैं, निश्चित रूप से उनसे पहले नहीं जाएँगे जो सो गए हैं। BSB BSB: By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep.
17 HGLT तब हम जो जीवित हैं, जो पीछे रह गए हैं, उनके साथ बादलों पर उठा लिए जाएँगे, कि हवा में प्रभु से मिलें, और इस रीति से हम सर्वदा प्रभु के संग रहेंगे। BSB BSB: After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
18 HGLT इसलिए, इन वचनों से एक दूसरे को सांत्वना दो। BSB BSB: Therefore encourage one another with these words.
