1. 1HGLTजैसे तुम्हारे लिए, तुम अपने अपराधों और पापों में मरे हुए थे,BSBBSB: And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2. 2HGLTजिनमें तुम पहले इस संसार के युग के अनुसार चलते थे, हवा के अधिकारियों के अधिपति के अनुसार, आत्मा जो अब अवज्ञा के पुत्रों में कार्य करता है।BSBBSB: in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.
3. 3HGLTइनमें हम सब भी पहले हमारे शरीर की बुरी इच्छाओं में रहते थे, और शरीर और मन की इच्छाओं को पूरी करते थे। और हम स्वभाव ही से क्रोध की सन्तान थे, जैसे शेष के साथ।BSBBSB: All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.

5. 5HGLTऔर जब हम अपराधों में मरे हुए थे, उसने हमें एक साथ मसीह में जीवित किया; अनुग्रह से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है,BSBBSB: made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!
6. 6HGLTऔर उसके साथ उठाया और मसीह यीशु में स्वर्गीय स्थानों में उसके साथ बैठाया है।BSBBSB: And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7. 7HGLTताकि आने वाले युगों में वह मसीह यीशु में उसकी दयालुता में अपने अनुग्रह के असीम महान धन को दिखाए।BSBBSB: in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8. 8HGLTक्योंकि विश्वास के द्वारा अनुग्रह ही से तुम्हारा उद्धार हुआ है, और यह तुम्हारी अपनी ओर से नहीं, यह परमेश्वर का उपहार है;BSBBSB: For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9. 9HGLTकामों से नहीं, ताकि कोई घमण्ड न करे।BSBBSB: not by works, so that no one can boast.
10. 10HGLTक्योंकि हम उसकी रचना हैं; मसीह यीशु में भले कामों के लिये सृजे गए हैं जिन्हें परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही तैयार किया था, ताकि हम उनमें चल सकें।BSBBSB: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
11. 11HGLTइसलिए स्मरण करो कि एक बार तुम शरीर में अन्यजाति थे, जिन्हें“खतना रहित” बुलाया जाता है, उनके द्वारा जो शरीर में हाथ के किए हुए खतने से,“खतना वाले” कहलाते हैं,BSBBSB: Therefore remember that formerly you who are Gentiles in the flesh and called uncircumcised by the so-called circumcision (that done in the body by human hands)—

13. 13HGLTपरन्तु अब मसीह यीशु में तुम जो पहले दूर थे मसीह के लहू के द्वारा निकट लाए गए हो।BSBBSB: But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14. 14HGLTक्योंकि वही हमारी शान्ति है, जिसने दोनों को एक कर दिया और अपने शरीर में अलग करने वाली बीच की दीवार, शत्रुता, को ढा दिया है।BSBBSB: For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility
15. 15HGLTउसने संचालित व्यवस्था की आज्ञाओं को मिटा दिया ताकि अपने आप में दोनों को एक नए व्यक्ति में बना दे, शान्ति बनाते हुए,BSBBSB: by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace
16. 16HGLTऔर ताकि वह दोनों को उस में शत्रुता को मार कर, क्रूस के द्वारा एक देह बनाकर परमेश्वर से मिलाए।BSBBSB: and reconciling both of them to God in one body through the cross, by which He put to death their hostility.
17. 17HGLTऔर वह आया और तुम्हें शान्ति का प्रचार किया जो बहुत दूर थे और उन्हें शान्ति जो निकट थे।BSBBSB: He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18. 18HGLTक्योंकि उसके द्वारा हम दोनों की पहुँच एक आत्मा में पिता के पास होती है।BSBBSB: For through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19. 19HGLTइसलिए तुम अब अजनबी और परदेशी नहीं रहे। वरन्, तुम पवित्रों के साथ संगी नागरिक और परमेश्वर के घराने के सदस्य हो।BSBBSB: Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,
20. 20HGLTतुम प्रेरितों और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की नींव पर निर्मित किए गए हो, मसीह यीशु आप ही कोने का पत्थर है।BSBBSB: built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.
21. 21HGLTजिसमें सारा भवन, एक साथ मिलकर, प्रभु में एक पवित्र मन्दिर बनता जाता है,BSBBSB: In Him the whole building is fitted together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22. 22HGLTजिसमें तुम भी एक साथ आत्मा में परमेश्वर के लिए वास स्थान होने के लिये निर्मित किए जाते हो।BSBBSB: And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.
