1 HGLT “मैं तुम से सच- सच कहता हूँ, कि जो द्वार से होकर भेड़शाला में प्रवेश नहीं करता, परन्तु किसी अन्य रीति से चढ़ आता है, वह चोर और डाकू है। BSB BSB: “Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.
2 HGLT परन्तु जो द्वार से होकर प्रवेश करता है वह भेड़ों का चरवाहा है। BSB BSB: But the one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 HGLT द्वारपाल उसके लिए द्वार खोल देता है, और भेड़ें उसकी वाणी सुनती हैं, और वह{ अपनी} भेड़ों को नाम से पुकारता है और उनको बाहर ले जाता है। BSB BSB: The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

7 HGLT इसलिए, फिर से यीशु ने उनसे कहा,“मैं तुम से सच- सच कहता हूँ, कि मैं भेड़ों का द्वार हूँ। BSB BSB: So He said to them again, “Truly, truly, I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
8 HGLT हर एक जन जो मुझ से पहले आया वह चोर और डाकू है, परन्तु भेड़ों ने उनकी नहीं सुनीं। BSB BSB: All who came before Me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
9 HGLT मैं द्वार हूँ। यदि कोई भी मुझ से होकर प्रवेश करता है, तो वह बचाया जाएगा, तथा वह भीतर आएगा और बाहर जाएगा तथा चारा पाएगा। BSB BSB: I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.
10 HGLT चोर इसके अलावा नहीं आता है कि वह चोरी करे और हत्या करे और नाश करे। मैं इसलिए आया कि वे जीवन प्राप्त करें और उसे बहुतायत से प्राप्त करें। BSB BSB: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness.
12 HGLT और भाड़े पर रखा हुआ व्यक्ति, जो चरवाहा नहीं है, और भेड़ें उसकी अपनी नहीं हैं, वह भेड़िए को आते हुए देखकर भेड़ों को छोड़कर भाग जाता है, और भेड़िया उनको पकड़ लेता है और उनको तितर- बितर कर देता है, BSB BSB: The hired hand is not the shepherd, and the sheep are not his own. When he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf pounces on them and scatters the flock.
13 HGLT क्योंकि वह तो भाड़े पर रखा हुआ व्यक्ति है और उसे भेड़ों की चिन्ता नहीं है। BSB BSB: The man runs away because he is a hired servant and is unconcerned for the sheep.
14 HGLT मैं अच्छा चरवाहा हूँ, और जो मेरी हैं मैं उनको जानता हूँ, और जो मेरी हैं वे भी मुझे जानती हैं, BSB BSB: I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me,
15 HGLT जैसे पिता मुझे जानता है, और मैं पिता को जानता हूँ; और मैं भेड़ों के लिए अपना जीवन देता हूँ। BSB BSB: just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.
19 HGLT इन बातों के कारण फिर से यहूदियों के बीच में विभाजन हो गया। BSB BSB: Again there was division among the Jews because of Jesus’ message.
20 HGLT अब उनमें से बहुत से कह रहे थे,“उसमें दुष्टात्मा है और वह पागल है। तुम उसकी सुनते ही क्यों हो?” BSB BSB: Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and insane. Why would you listen to Him?”
21 HGLT अन्य कह रहे थे,“यह दुष्टात्मा से ग्रस्त मनुष्य की बातें नहीं हैं। कोई दुष्टात्मा किसी अंधे की आँखें नहीं खोल सकता, क्या वह कर सकता है?” BSB BSB: But others replied, “These are not the words of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”
23 HGLT और यीशु मंदिर में सुलैमान के ओसारे में टहल रहा था। BSB BSB: and Jesus was walking in the temple courts in Solomon’s Colonnade.
24 HGLT तब यहूदियों ने उसे घेर लिया और उससे कहने लगे,“तू कब तक हमारे प्राण लेता रहेगा? यदि तू ही मसीह है, तो हम को खुले रूप से बता दे।” BSB BSB: So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
25 HGLT यीशु ने उनको प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“मैंने तुम को बता दिया, परन्तु तुम विश्वास ही नहीं करते। जो काम मैं अपने पिता के नाम से करता हूँ, वे ही मेरे विषय में गवाही देते हैं। BSB BSB: “I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf.
26 HGLT परन्तु तुम मुझ पर विश्वास इसलिए नहीं करते, क्योंकि तुम मेरी भेड़ें नहीं हो। BSB BSB: But because you are not My sheep, you refuse to believe.
28 HGLT और मैं उनको अनन्त जीवन प्रदान करता हूँ, और वे निश्चय ही अनन्तकाल तक नाश नहीं होंगी, और कोई भी उनमें से किसी को भी मेरे हाथ से छीन नहीं लेगा। BSB BSB: I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand.
29 HGLT मेरा पिता, जिसने मुझे उनको दिया है, बाकी सबसे बढ़कर है, और कोई भी उनको पिता के हाथ से छीन नहीं सकता। BSB BSB: My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
31 HGLT यहूदियों ने फिर से पत्थर उठा लिए कि उसे पत्थरवाह करें। BSB BSB: At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him.
32 HGLT यीशु ने उनको उत्तर दिया,“मैंने तुम को पिता की ओर से बहुत से भले काम दिखाए। उन कामों में से किसके लिए तुम मुझे पत्थरवाह कर रहे हो?” BSB BSB: But Jesus responded, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?”
33 HGLT उन यहूदियों ने उसे उत्तर दिया,“हम किसी भले काम के लिए नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर की निन्दा करने के कारण तुझे पत्थरवाह कर रहे हैं, और क्योंकि तू, एक मनुष्य, अपने आप को परमेश्वर बना रहा है।” BSB BSB: “We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, make Yourself out to be God.”
34 HGLT यीशु ने उनको उत्तर दिया,“क्या यह तुम्हारी व्यवस्था में नहीं लिखा है कि‘मैंने कहा,“तुम ईश्वर हो”’? BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’?
35 HGLT यदि उसने उनको ईश्वर कहा, जिनके पास परमेश्वर का वचन पहुँचा(और पवित्रशास्त्र को खंडित नहीं किया जा सकता), BSB BSB: If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
36 HGLT तो क्या तुम उससे जिसे पिता ने अलग किया और इस संसार में भेजा इसलिए ऐसा कहते हो कि‘तू परमेश्वर की निन्दा कर रहा है,’ क्योंकि मैंने कहा कि‘मैं परमेश्वर का पुत्र हूँ’? BSB BSB: then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy for stating that I am the Son of God?
37 HGLT यदि मैं अपने पिता के कामों को नहीं कर रहा हूँ, तो मेरा विश्वास मत करो। BSB BSB: If I am not doing the works of My Father, then do not believe Me.
38 HGLT परन्तु यदि मैं उनको कर रहा हूँ, तो यहाँ तक कि यदि तुम मेरा विश्वास न भी करो, तो उन कामों पर ही विश्वास करो जिससे कि तुम जान लो और समझ लो कि पिता मुझ में है और यह कि मैं पिता में हूँ।” BSB BSB: But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works themselves, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father.”
39 HGLT इसलिए, वे उसे फिर से पकड़ने की खोज कर रहे थे, परन्तु वह उनके हाथ से निकलकर चला गया। BSB BSB: At this, they tried again to seize Him, but He escaped their grasp.
40 HGLT और वह फिर से यरदन पार उस स्थान पर चला गया जहाँ यूहन्ना पहले बपतिस्मा दे रहा था, और वह वहाँ रुक गया। BSB BSB: Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had first been baptizing, and He stayed there.
41 HGLT और बहुत से लोग उसके पास आए और वे कह रहे थे,“यूहन्ना ने तो वास्तव में कोई चिन्ह प्रकट नहीं किया, परन्तु जो सब बातें यूहन्ना ने इस मनुष्य के बारे में कही थीं वे सत्य हैं।” BSB BSB: Many came to Him and said, “Although John never performed a sign, everything he said about this man was true.”
42 HGLT और वहाँ बहुत से लोगों ने उस पर विश्वास किया। BSB BSB: And many in that place believed in Jesus.
