2. 2HGLTऔर प्रधान याजक और शास्त्री इस बात की खोज में थे कि वे उसको कैसे मार डालें, क्योंकि वे लोगों से डरते थे।BSBBSB: and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus to death, for they feared the people.

12. 12HGLTऔर वह तुम को एक सजा- सजाया ऊपरी कक्ष दिखा देगा। वहीं इसकी तैयारी करना।”BSBBSB: And he will show you a large upper room, already furnished. Make preparations there.”

22. 22HGLTक्योंकि मनुष्य का पुत्र तो निश्चय ही उसके अनुसार चलता है जैसा निर्धारित किया गया है। परन्तु उस मनुष्य पर हाय, जिसके द्वारा उसके साथ विश्वासघात किया जाता है!”BSBBSB: Indeed, the Son of Man will go as it has been determined, but woe to that man who betrays Him.”
23. 23HGLTऔर वे आपस में इस विषय पर चर्चा करने लगे कि उनमें से ऐसा कौन हो सकता है जो ऐसा करने वाला था।BSBBSB: Then they began to question among themselves which of them was going to do this.
24. 24HGLTफिर उनके मध्य में इस बात को लेकर भी झगड़ा हो गया कि उनमें से कौन बड़ा समझा जाता है।BSBBSB: A dispute also arose among the disciples as to which of them should be considered the greatest.
25. 25HGLTपरन्तु उसने उनसे कहा,“जातियों के राजा उन पर प्रभुता करते हैं, और जो उन पर अधिकार रखते हैं वे संरक्षक कहलाते हैं।BSBBSB: So Jesus declared, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them call themselves benefactors.
26. 26HGLTपरन्तु तुम ऐसे न होना। बजाए इसके, जो तुम में बड़ा है वह छोटे के समान हो जाए। और जो अगुवाई करता है वह उसके समान जो सेवा करता है।BSBBSB: But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.
27. 27HGLTक्योंकि बड़ा कौन है, वह जो भोजन करने बैठा है या वह जो सेवा करता है? क्या यह वह नहीं जो भोजन करने बैठा है? परन्तु मैं तुम्हारे मध्य में उसके समान हूँ जो सेवा करता है।BSBBSB: For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.

29. 29HGLTऔर जिस प्रकार से मेरे पिता ने मेरे लिये एक राज्य ठहराया है, वैसे ही मैं भी तुम्हारे लिये ठहराता हूँ।BSBBSB: And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has bestowed one on Me,
30. 30HGLTताकि तुम मेरे राज्य में मेरी मेज पर खाओ और पीओ और सिंहासनों पर बैठकर इस्राएल के 12 गोत्रों का न्याय करो।BSBBSB: so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31. 31HGLTशमौन, हे शमौन, देखो, शैतान ने तुम लोगों को गेहूँ के समान फटकने के लिए माँग लिया है।BSBBSB: Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you like wheat.

38. 38HGLTतब उन्होंने कहा,“हे प्रभु, देख! यहाँ दो तलवारें हैं।” और उसने उनसे कहा,“यह पर्याप्त हैं।”BSBBSB: So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” He answered.
39. 39HGLTऔर बाहर निकलकर, वह अपनी रीति के अनुसार जैतून के पहाड़ पर गया, और चेले भी उसके पीछे- पीछे गए।BSBBSB: Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him.
40. 40HGLTऔर उस जगह पहुँचकर, उसने उनसे कहा,“प्रार्थना करो कि परीक्षा में न पड़ो।”BSBBSB: When He came to the place, He told them, “Pray that you will not enter into temptation.”

43. The angel and the sweat like drops of blood
    43HGLT[और स्वर्ग से एक स्वर्गदूत उस पर प्रकट हुआ, जो उसे सामर्थ्य देता था।BSBBSB: Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him.
44. 44HGLTऔर व्याकुल होकर, वह हार्दिक वेदना से प्रार्थना कर रहा था, और उसका पसीना लहू की बूँदों के समान भूमि पर गिर रहा था।]BSBBSB: And in His anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
45. 45HGLTऔर प्रार्थना से उठकर, वह चेलों के पास आया और संताप के मारे उन्हें सोता पाया।BSBBSB: When Jesus rose from prayer and returned to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.

50. 50HGLTऔर उनमें से एक ने महायाजक के दास पर तलवार से प्रहार किया और उसका दाहिना कान काट दिया।BSBBSB: And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.
51. 51HGLTपरन्तु उत्तर देते हुए, यीशु ने कहा,“यहीं तक रहने दो!” और उसके कान को छूकर, उसने उसे चंगा कर दिया।BSBBSB: But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him.

53. 53HGLTजब मैं मन्दिर में हर दिन तुम्हारे साथ था, तब तुम ने मुझ पर अपने हाथ नहीं डाले। परन्तु यह तुम्हारा समय है, और अंधकार का अधिकार है।”BSBBSB: Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”
54. 54HGLTफिर उसे पकड़कर, वे उसे ले चले और महायाजक के घर में उसे लाए। और पतरस दूर ही दूर से पीछे- पीछे चल रहा था।BSBBSB: Then they seized Jesus, led Him away, and took Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.
55. 55HGLTऔर उन्होंने आँगन के मध्य में आग जलाई और इकट्ठे बैठ गए, तो पतरस भी उनके बीच में बैठ गया था।BSBBSB: When those present had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
56. 56HGLTतब एक दासी, उसे आग के उजियाले में बैठे देखकर और उसकी ओर ताक कर कहने लगी,“यह भी तो उसके साथ था।”BSBBSB: A servant girl saw him seated in the firelight and looked intently at him. “This man also was with Him,” she said.
57. 57HGLTपरन्तु उसने यह कहकर, इन्कार कर दिया,“हे स्त्री, मैं उसे नहीं जानता।”BSBBSB: But Peter denied it. “Woman, I do not know Him,” he said.
58. 58HGLTऔर थोड़ी ही देर के बाद किसी अन्य ने उसे देखकर कहा,“तू भी तो उन्हीं में से है।” परन्तु पतरस ने कहा,“हे मनुष्य, मैं नहीं हूँ।”BSBBSB: A short time later, someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
59. 59HGLTऔर लगभग एक घंटा बीतने पर, किसी एक और मनुष्य ने दृढ़ता से कहा,“निश्चय ही, यह भी उसके साथ था, क्योंकि यह भी तो गलीलवासी है।”BSBBSB: About an hour later, another man insisted, “Certainly this man was with Him, for he too is a Galilean.”

64. 64HGLTऔर उसकी आँखों को ढाँपकर, वे उससे प्रश्न कर रहे थे,“भविष्यद्वाणी कर! वह कौन है जिसने तुझे मारा?”BSBBSB: They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”

68. 68HGLTऔर यदि मैं तुम से प्रश्न करूँ, तो निश्चय ही तुम उत्तर न दोगे।BSBBSB: And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.
69. 69HGLTपरन्तु अब से, मनुष्य का पुत्र परमेश्वर की सामर्थ्य के दाहिने हाथ पर विराजमान होगा।”BSBBSB: But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
70. 70HGLTतब उन सब ने कहा,“तो क्या तू परमेश्वर का पुत्र है?” और उसने उनसे कहा,“तुम स्वयं ही कह रहे हो कि मैं हूँ।”BSBBSB: So they all asked, “Are You then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”
71. 71HGLTऔर उन्होंने कहा,“अब हमें गवाही की क्या आवश्यकता है? क्योंकि हम ने आप ही उसके मुँह से सुन लिया है।”BSBBSB: “Why do we need any more testimony?” they declared. “We have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
