1. 1HGLTफिर सप्ताह के पहले दिन, बड़ी भोर में, वे उन मसालों को लेकर जो उन्होंने तैयार किए थे, कब्र पर आईं।BSBBSB: On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women came to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared.

17. 17HGLTतब उसने उनसे पूछा,“जब तुम चल रहे हो तो ये क्या बातें हैं जिनका तुम एक दूसरे से आदान- प्रदान कर रहे हो?” वे उदासी के साथ, शान्त खड़े हो गए।BSBBSB: He asked them, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stood still, with sadness on their faces.

And besides all this, it is the third day since these things took place.

25. 25HGLTतब उसने उनसे कहा,“हे निर्बुद्धियों और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं द्वारा बोली गई सब बातों पर विश्वास करने में मन्दमतियों!BSBBSB: Then Jesus said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
26. 26HGLTक्या मसीह के लिए इन बातों में दुःख उठाना और अपनी महिमा में प्रवेश करना आवश्यक न था?”BSBBSB: Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?”
27. 27HGLTऔर मूसा से और सब भविष्यद्वक्ताओं से आरम्भ करके, उसने सारे पवित्रशास्त्रों में से, अपने विषय की बातों का अर्थ उन्हें समझा दिया।BSBBSB: And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was written in all the Scriptures about Himself.

30. 30HGLTऔर ऐसा हुआ कि, जब वह उनके साथ मेज़ पर बैठा, तो रोटी लेकर, उसने उसे आशीषित किया, और उसे तोड़कर, वह उसे उनको देने लगा।BSBBSB: While He was reclining at the table with them, He took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to them.
31. 31HGLTतब उनकी आँखें खुल गईं, और उन्होंने उसे पहचान लिया, और वह उनके पास से अदृश्य हो गया।BSBBSB: Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus—and He disappeared from their sight.

33. 33HGLTऔर उसी घड़ी उठकर, वे यरूशलेम को लौट गए। और उन्होंने उन ग्यारहों को, और जो उनके साथ थे, इकट्ठे पाया,BSBBSB: And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, gathered together

35. 35HGLTऔर उन्होंने मार्ग की बातें बता दीं और कैसे रोटी तोड़ने के द्वारा उन्होंने उसे पहचाना।BSBBSB: Then the two told what had happened on the road, and how they had recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread.
36. 36HGLTऔर जब वे ये बातें कह ही रहे थे, वह आप ही उनके बीच में आ खड़ा हुआ और उनसे कहा,“तुम्हें शान्ति मिले।”BSBBSB: While they were describing these events, Jesus Himself stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
37. 37HGLTपरन्तु घबराकर और भयभीत होकर, उन्होंने सोचा कि वे किसी आत्मा को देख रहे हैं।BSBBSB: But they were startled and frightened, thinking they had seen a spirit.
38. 38HGLTतब उसने उनसे कहा,“तुम क्यों घबरा गए, और तुम्हारे हृदय में सन्देह क्यों उठते हैं?BSBBSB: “Why are you troubled,” Jesus asked, “and why do doubts arise in your hearts?
39. 39HGLTमेरे हाथों को और मेरे पाँवों को देखो, कि मैं ही हूँ। मुझे छू लो और देखो, क्योंकि आत्मा के माँस और हड्डियाँ नहीं होतीं जैसा तुम मेरे पास देखते हो।”BSBBSB: Look at My hands and My feet. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40. 40HGLTऔर यह कहकर, उसने उन्हें अपने हाथ और पाँव दिखाए।BSBBSB: And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.

43. 43HGLTऔर उसे लेकर, उसने उनके सामने ही उसे खाया।BSBBSB: and He took it and ate it in front of them.
44. 44HGLTफिर उसने उनसे कहा,“ये मेरी वे बातें हैं, जो मैंने तुम्हारे साथ रहते हुए तुम से बोली थीं, कि मूसा की व्यवस्था में, और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं, और भजन संहिता की पुस्तकों में, मेरे विषय में जितनी बातें लिखी हुई हैं, अवश्य है कि सब पूरी हों।”BSBBSB: Jesus said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.”
45. 45HGLTतब उसने पवित्रशास्त्र को समझने के लिये उनके मन खोल दिए, और उसने उनसे कहा,BSBBSB: Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
46. 46HGLT“यह इस प्रकार से लिखा गया है: मसीह दुःख उठाएगा, और तीसरे दिन मरे हुओं में से जी उठेगा,BSBBSB: And He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
47. 47HGLTऔर यरूशलेम से आरम्भ करके, सब जातियों में पापों की क्षमा के पश्चाताप की घोषणा उसी के नाम से की जाएगी।BSBBSB: and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
48. 48HGLTतुम इन सब बातों के गवाह हो।BSBBSB: You are witnesses of these things.
49. 49HGLTऔर मेरे पिता की प्रतिज्ञा को मैं तुम पर भेज रहा हूँ। परन्तु जब तक तुम स्वर्ग से सामर्थ्य न पाओ उस समय तक तुम इसी नगर में ठहरे रहो।”BSBBSB: And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But remain in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
50. 50HGLTतब वह उन्हें बैतनिय्याह तक बाहर ले गया, और अपने हाथों को उठाकर, उसने उन्हें आशीष दी।BSBBSB: When Jesus had led them out as far as Bethany, He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51. 51HGLTऔर ऐसा हुआ कि, जब वह उन्हें आशीष दे रहा था, तो वह उनसे अलग हो गया और स्वर्ग में उठा लिया गया।BSBBSB: While He was blessing them, He left them and was carried up into heaven.
52. 52HGLTऔर वे, उसको दण्डवत् करके, बड़े आनन्द से यरूशलेम को लौट गए,BSBBSB: And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
53. 53HGLTऔर वे सारे समय मन्दिर में, परमेश्वर को धन्य कहा करते थे।BSBBSB: praising God continually in the temple.
