27 IEV परन्तु अबशालोम ने जोर दिया, इस प्रकार राजा ने अम्नोन और दाऊद के अन्य पुत्रों को अबशालोम के साथ जाने की अनुमति दी। BSB BSB: But Absalom urged him, so the king sent Amnon and the rest of his sons.

Then all the other sons of the king got up, and each one fled on his mule.

When the young man standing watch looked up, he saw many people coming down the road west of him, along the side of the hill. And the watchman went and reported to the king, “I see men coming from the direction of Horonaim, along the side of the hill.”

37 IEV परन्तु अबशालोम भाग चुका था। वह गशूर के राजा के पास रहने के लिए चला गया। उसका नाम तल्मै था जो अम्मीहूद का पुत्र था। अबशालोम तीन वर्ष तक वहाँ रहा। परन्तु राजा दाऊद ने अपने पुत्र अम्नोन के लिए लम्बे समय तक शोक किया, BSB BSB: Now Absalom fled and went to Talmai son of Ammihud, the king of Geshur. But David mourned for his son every day.
