On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.

He followed Philip closely and was astounded by the great signs and miracles he observed.

21. 22IEVइसलिए इस प्रकार दुष्टता से सोचना बन्द कर, और परमेश्वर से याचना कर कि यदि वे इच्छा रखते हैं, तो तूने जो बुराई करने के लिए अपने मन में विचार किया है उसके लिए तुझे क्षमा कर दें!BSBBSB: Repent, therefore, of your wickedness, and pray to the Lord. Perhaps He will forgive you for the intent of your heart.
22. 23IEVअपने बुरे कार्यों से दूर हो जा, क्योंकि मुझे लगता है कि तू हमसे बहुत जलता है, और तू निरन्तर बुराई करने की इच्छा का दास है।BSBBSB: For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and captive to iniquity.”

24. 25IEVपतरस और यूहन्ना ने वहाँ लोगों को गवाही दे कर और प्रभु के सन्देश की घोषणा की, उसके बाद वे दोनों यरूशलेम लौट आए। मार्ग में उन्होंने सामरिया जिले के लोगों में यीशु के विषय में सुसमाचार का प्रचार किया।BSBBSB: And after Peter and John had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many of the Samaritan villages.
25. 26IEVएक दिन, फिलिप्पुस को प्रभु के एक स्वर्गदूत ने कहा,“तैयार हो और दक्षिण दिशा में उस मार्ग पर जा जो यरूशलेम से गाजा शहर तक जाता है।” यह मार्ग रेगिस्तानी क्षेत्र में है।BSBBSB: Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Get up and go south to the desert road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

He had gone to Jerusalem to worship,
27. 28IEVऔर वह घर लौट रहा था और अपने रथ पर सवार होकर बैठा था। जब वह सवारी कर रहा था, तो वह यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता की पुस्तक ऊँची आवाज में पढ़ रहा था।BSBBSB: and on his return was sitting in his chariot reading Isaiah the prophet.
28. 29IEVपवित्र- आत्मा ने फिलिप्पुस को बताया,“उस रथ के पास जा और उसके साथ हो ले!”BSBBSB: The Spirit said to Philip, “Go over to that chariot and stay by it.”
29. 30IEVफिलिप्पुस रथ के पास दौड़ा और अधिकारी को यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता द्वारा लिखी बातों को पढ़ते सुना। उसने उस व्यक्ति से पूछा,“तू जो पढ़ रहा है, क्या उसे समझता भी है?”BSBBSB: So Philip ran up and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.
30. 31IEVउसने फिलिप्पुस को उत्तर दिया,“नहीं! सच तो यह है कि यदि कोई मुझे नहीं समझाए तो, मैं यह समझ नहीं सकता! यदि मुझे यह समझाने के लिए कोई नहीं हो!” तब उस पुरुष ने फिलिप्पुस से कहा,“कृपया ऊपर आकर मेरे पास बैठ।”BSBBSB: “How can I,” he said, “unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

32. 33IEVउसे अपमानित किया जाएगा। उसे न्याय नहीं मिलेगा। कोई भी उसके वंशजों के विषय में नहीं बता पाएगा— क्योंकि इस पृथ्‍वी पर से उसका जीवन ले लिया जाएगा।”BSBBSB: In His humiliation He was deprived of justice. Who can recount His descendants? For His life was removed from the earth.”
33. 34IEVअधिकारी ने फिलिप्पुस से उन वचनों के विषय में पूछा, जो वह पढ़ रहा था,“मुझे बता, भविष्यद्वक्ता किसके विषय में लिख रहा है? क्या वह अपने विषय में लिख रहा है या किसी और के विषय में लिख रहा है?”BSBBSB: “Tell me,” said the eunuch, “who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”
34. 35IEVतब फिलिप्पुस ने उसे उत्तर दिया; उसने वचन के उस भाग से आरम्भ किया, और उसने उसे यीशु के विषय में सुसमाचार बताया।BSBBSB: Then Philip began with this very Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
35. 36IEVमार्ग पर यात्रा करते हुए, वे एक स्थान पर पहुँचे जहाँ थोड़ा पानी था। तब अधिकारी ने फिलिप्पुस से कहा,“देख, यहाँ थोड़ा पानी है! मैं चाहता हूँ कि तू मुझे बपतिस्मा दे, क्योंकि मैं ऐसी किसी बात को नहीं जानता जो मुझे बपतिस्मा लेने से रोके।”BSBBSB: As they traveled along the road and came to some water, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water! What is there to prevent me from being baptized?”
36. 37Verse 37 isn’t in the earliest manuscripts. Why?
37. 38IEVइसलिए अधिकारी ने सारथी से रथ रोकने के लिए कहा। फिर फिलिप्पुस और अधिकारी दोनों पानी में उतर गए, और फिलिप्पुस ने उसे बपतिस्मा दिया।BSBBSB: And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
38. 39IEVजब वे पानी से बाहर निकल आए, तो अचानक पवित्र- आत्मा फिलिप्पुस को उठा ले गया। अधिकारी ने फिलिप्पुस को फिर कभी नहीं देखा। परन्तु उसने फिलिप्पुस को फिर कभी नहीं देखा, अधिकारी अत्यन्त प्रसन्नता के साथ मार्ग में आगे बढ़ गया।BSBBSB: When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, but went on his way rejoicing.
39. 40IEVतब फिलिप्पुस को समझ में आया कि पवित्र आत्मा उसे अश्दोद के शहर में ले आए हैं। जब वह उस क्षेत्र में चारों ओर यात्रा कर रहा था, तब उसने अश्दोद और कैसरिया शहरों के बीच के सभी नगरों में यीशु के सन्देश का प्रचार किया।BSBBSB: But Philip appeared at Azotus and traveled through that region, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
