Anyone who profanes it must surely be put to death. Whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from among his people.
15 IEV तुम सप्ताह में छः दिन कार्य करना परन्तु सप्ताह का सातवाँ दिन पवित्र विश्राम का दिन हो जो मुझ यहोवा को समर्पित हो। जो मनुष्य सब्त के दिन में कार्य करे वह मार डाला जाए। BSB BSB: For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.
16 IEV तुम सब इस्राएलियों को सब्त के दिन का मान अवश्य रखना है और तुम्हारी आने वाली पीढ़ियों को भी। मैं तुम्हारे लिए इसे अनिवार्य बनाता हूँ। BSB BSB: The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come.
17 IEV सब्त का दिन तुम इस्राएलियों को और मुझे अपनी वाचा का स्मरण करा पाएगा क्योंकि मुझ यहोवा ने छः दिनों में आकाश और पृथ्वी को रचा और सातवें दिन रचने का कार्य समाप्त करके विश्राम किया था। BSB BSB: It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
18 IEV जब यहोवा ने मूसा से सीनै पर्वत पर बात करना समाप्त किया। तब परमेश्वर ने उसे आदेश लिखे हुए दो पत्थर की पट्टियाँ दी जिस पर परमेश्वर ने अपनी उँगलियों से अपने नियमों को लिखा था। BSB BSB: When the LORD had finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
