1 IEV यदि न्यायी किसी से पूछे कि उसने क्या देखा या क्या सुना और वह सच का वर्णन न करे तो उसे सच का इन्कार करने के लिए दण्ड भोगना होगा। BSB BSB: “If someone sins by failing to testify when he hears a public charge about something he has witnessed, whether he has seen it or learned of it, he shall bear the iniquity.
2 IEV यदि कोई अनजाने में यहोवा द्वारा अशुद्ध ठहराई हुई वस्तु का स्पर्श करे जैसे मरा हुआ वन पशु या अपने ही पालतू पशु की मृतक देह या रेंगने वाले जन्तु की मृतक देह, तो उसे उसका दण्ड भोगना होगा। BSB BSB: Or if a person touches anything unclean—whether the carcass of any unclean wild animal or livestock or crawling creature—even if he is unaware of it, he is unclean and guilty.
3 IEV यदि कोई मनुष्य को अशुद्ध करने वाली किसी भी वस्तु को अनजाने में स्पर्श कर ले और उसे उसका बोध हो जाए तो वह उसका दण्ड भोगे। BSB BSB: Or if he touches human uncleanness—anything by which one becomes unclean—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty.
4 IEV यदि कोई भली या बुरी बात की शपथ खाए और उसे पूरा न कर पाए तो उसे उसका दण्ड भोगना होगा। BSB BSB: Or if someone swears thoughtlessly with his lips to do anything good or evil—in whatever matter a man may rashly pronounce an oath—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty in the matter.
5 IEV यदि तुम में से कोई ऐसे किसी भी पाप का दोषी हो तो वह अपने पाप को स्वीकार करे। BSB BSB: If someone incurs guilt in one of these ways, he must confess the sin he has committed,
6 IEV और उसका दण्ड होगा कि वह अपने पाप के लिए यहोवा के सामने एक भेड़ या बकरी लाए। याजक उसे बलि चढ़ाएगा तब वह दोषमुक्त हो जाएगा। BSB BSB: and he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin he has committed: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make atonement for him concerning his sin.
7 IEV यदि कोई गरीब हो कि भेड़ न ला पाए तो वह यहोवा के सामने दो पिण्डुक या कबूतर लाए। उनमें से एक पाप- बलि और एक होम- बलि हो कि वेदी पर पूर्ण रूप से जलाई जाए। BSB BSB: If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may bring to the LORD as restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
8 IEV वह उनको याजक के पास ले आए। याजक पहले एक पाप- बलि करे। वह उसका गला दबा कर उसे मारे परन्तु उसका सिर धड़ से अलग न करे। BSB BSB: He is to bring them to the priest, who shall first present the one for the sin offering. He is to twist its head at the front of its neck without severing it;
9 IEV उसका कुछ लहू याजक वेदी पर चारों ओर छिड़के और शेष लहू याजक वेदी के आधार पर डाल दे। यह उसकी पाप- बलि होगी। BSB BSB: then he is to sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, while the rest of the blood is drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
10 IEV तब याजक मेरी आज्ञा के अनुसार करे और दूसरे पक्षी को पूर्ण रूप से वेदी पर जलाए। तब वह अपने पाप का दोषी नहीं होगा। यहोवा उसे क्षमा कर देगा। BSB BSB: And the priest must prepare the second bird as a burnt offering according to the ordinance. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.
11 IEV तथापि, यदि कोई इतना गरीब हो कि पिण्डुक और कबूतर भी न ला पाए तो वह दो किलोग्राम मैदा ले आए परन्तु उस पर न तो जैतून का तेल डाले, न ही धूप रखे क्योंकि वह पाप- बलि है। BSB BSB: But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he may bring a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He must not put olive oil or frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
12 IEV उसे वह याजक को दे। याजक उसमें से मुट्ठी भर ले कर जो सम्पूर्ण का प्रतीक है, अन्य सब भेंटों के साथ वेदी पर जलाए। BSB BSB: He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar atop the food offerings to the LORD; it is a sin offering.
13 IEV ऐसा करके याजक उसे अपने पापों के दोष से मुक्ति दिलाएगा और परमेश्वर उसे क्षमा करेगा। उस भेंट का शेष भाग जो जलाया नहीं गया, वह याजक का होगा जैसे अन्न- बलि का शेष भाग उसका हुआ था। BSB BSB: In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The remainder will belong to the priest, like the grain offering.”
14 IEV यहोवा ने मूसा से यह भी कहा कि इस्राएलियों से कह, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
15 IEV “यदि कोई अनजाने में ऐसा पाप करे कि यहोवा की ओर से अनिवार्य वस्तु चढ़ाने में चूक जाए तो एक निर्दोष मेढ़ा ला कर पवित्र- तम्बू के स्वीकृत नाप के अनुसार उसका मूल्य चाँदी में ज्ञात करे। यह उसे दोषमुक्त करने की भेंट होगी। BSB BSB: “If someone acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against any of the LORD’s holy things, he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD: an unblemished ram from the flock, of proper value in silver shekels according to the sanctuary shekel; it is a guilt offering.
16 IEV इसके साथ यहोवा के लिए अलग की गई वस्तु की क्षतिपूर्ति का भुगतान किया जाए और उसके अतिरिक्त उसके मूल्य का पाँचवाँ भाग भी दिया जाए। यह याजक को दिया जाए। वह मेढ़े को पाप- बलि करेगा और उसे दोषमुक्त करेगा और मैं उसे क्षमा करूँगा। BSB BSB: Regarding any holy thing he has harmed, he must make restitution by adding a fifth of its value to it and giving it to the priest, who will make atonement on his behalf with the ram as a guilt offering, and he will be forgiven.
17 IEV यदि कोई आज्ञाओं में वर्जित कार्य करके पाप करे चाहे वह अनजाने में हुआ हो फिर भी वह दोषी है। इसका दण्ड उसे भरना होगा। BSB BSB: If someone sins and violates any of the LORD’s commandments even though he was unaware, he is guilty and shall bear his punishment.
18 IEV जब उसे अपने अनाचार का बोध हो तब वह निर्दोष होने के लिए याजक के पास एक मेढ़ा लाए। वह मेढ़ा निर्दोष हो। याजक मुझे वह मेढ़ा बलि चढ़ाएगा। इस प्रकार वह दोषमुक्त होगा और मैं उसे क्षमा करूँगा। BSB BSB: He is to bring to the priest an unblemished ram of proper value from the flock as a guilt offering. Then the priest will make atonement on his behalf for the wrong he has committed in ignorance, and he will be forgiven.
19 IEV यह मेरे विरुद्ध पाप के दोष से मुक्त होने की बलि है। BSB BSB: It is a guilt offering; he was certainly guilty before the LORD.”
