1 IEV जब यीशु पहाड़ी से नीचे उतरे तब बड़ी भीड़ उनके पीछे आई। BSB BSB: When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
2 IEV तब, एक व्यक्ति जिसे कोढ़ की बीमारी हुई थी, उनके पास आया और उनके सामने घुटने टेक दिए। उसने यीशु से विनती की और कहा,“हे प्रभु, यदि आप चाहें तो मुझे स्वस्थ कर सकते हैं।” BSB BSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 IEV तब यीशु ने अपना हाथ बढ़ाकर व्यक्ति को छुआ। उन्होंने उससे कहा,“मैं तुझे स्वस्थ करना चाहता हूँ, और अब मैं तुझे स्वस्थ करूँगा।” तुरन्त ही वह मनुष्य अपनी बीमारी से स्वस्थ हो गया। BSB BSB: Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 IEV “फिर यीशु ने उससे कहा,” यह सुनिश्चित करना कि मैंने जो तुझे स्वस्थ किया है, तू उसके विषय में याजक के अतिरिक्त किसी और को नहीं बताएगा। फिर यरूशलेम के आराधनालय में जा कर मूसा की आज्ञा के अनुसार भेंट चढ़ा, जिससे कि लोगों को तेरी स्वस्थ होने के विषय में पता चले।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
5 IEV जब यीशु कफरनहूम शहर में गए, तो एक रोमी अधिकारी जो सौ सैनिकों का सेनापति था उनके पास आया। उसने यीशु से उसकी सहायता करने के लिए विनती की। BSB BSB: When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
6 IEV उसने यीशु से कहा, हे प्रभु, मेरा दास घर में बिस्तर पर पड़ा है, और वह लकवा ग्रस्त है, और वह बहुत पीड़ा में है। BSB BSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7 IEV यीशु ने उससे कहा,“मैं तेरे घर चल कर उसे स्वस्थ करूँगा।” BSB BSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8 IEV परन्तु अधिकारी ने उनसे कहा,“आप मेरे घर आएँ, मैं इस योग्य नहीं हूँ, केवल एक शब्द कह दें और वह ठीक हो जाएगा। BSB BSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 IEV मेरे साथ भी ऐसा ही होता है। मैं भी एक सैनिक हूँ; मुझे मेरे सरदारों के आदेशों का पालन करना है, और मेरे पास भी सैनिक हैं जिन्हें मैं आज्ञा देता हूँ। जब मैं उनमें से एक को कहता हूँ‘जा!’ तो वह जाता है। जब मैं किसी दूसरे को कहता हूँ‘आ!’ तो वह आता है। जब मैं अपने दास को कहता हूँ,‘यह कर!’ तो वह करता है।” BSB BSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
10 IEV जब यीशु ने यह सुना, तो वह आश्चर्यचकित हुए। उन्होंने उनके साथ भीड़ से कहा,“सुनो: मैंने पहले कभी भी ऐसा कोई जन नहीं पाया जो मुझ पर इस गैर- यहूदी व्यक्ति के जैसा विश्वास करता है। इस्राएल में भी, मुझे कोई भी नहीं मिला, जो मुझ पर इतना भरोसा करता है! BSB BSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11 IEV मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ कि जब परमेश्वर स्वर्ग से सब पर पूरी तरह शासन करेंगे, तब बहुत से गैर- यहूदी लोग भी मुझ पर विश्वास करेंगे, और वे दूर देशों से आएँगे, जिनमें दूर पूर्व और दूर पश्चिम के लोग होंगे, और वे अब्राहम, इसहाक और याकूब के साथ भोज के लिए बैठेंगे। BSB BSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12 IEV परन्तु जिन यहूदियों पर शासन करने का परमेश्वर का विचार है उन्हें वह घोर अँधेरे में डाल देंगे। वे पीड़ा के कारण रोएँगे, और अपने दाँतों को पीसेंगे।” BSB BSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 IEV तब यीशु ने अधिकारी से कहा,“घर जा, तूने जैसा विश्वास किया है वैसा ही होगा।” तब अधिकारी घर गया और पता चला कि उसका दास ठीक उसी समय पर स्वस्थ हो गया था जब यीशु ने उसे कहा था कि वह उसे ठीक कर देंगे। BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
15 IEV उन्होंने उसका हाथ छुआ, और तुरन्त उसका ज्वर चला गया। फिर वह उठी और उन्हें कुछ भोजन परोसा। BSB BSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.
16 IEV उस शाम जब भीड़ कई लोगों को यीशु के पास ले कर आई, जो दुष्ट- आत्माओं के वश में थे, और अन्य लोग जो बीमार थे। यीशु ने दुष्ट- आत्माओं को केवल अपने वचन से निकाल दिया और सभी बीमार लोगों को स्वस्थ किया। BSB BSB: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17 IEV जब उन्होंने ऐसा किया, तो यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता ने जो लिखा था, वह सच हो गया,“उन्होंने लोगों को बीमारियों से मुक्त किया और उन्होंने उन्हें स्वस्थ किया।” BSB BSB: This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
18 IEV “यीशु ने अपने चारों ओर भीड़ को देखा तो उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों को आदेश दिया कि वे उन्हें नाव से झील के दूसरी ओर ले चलें। BSB BSB: When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
19 IEV जब वे नाव की ओर जा रहे थे, तो एक व्यक्ति जिसने यहूदी व्यवस्था की शिक्षा पाई थी, आया और कहा,“गुरु, जहाँ भी आप जाएँगे, मैं आपके पीछे आऊँगा।” BSB BSB: And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20 IEV यीशु ने उसे उत्तर दिया,“लोमड़ियों की भूमि में गुफाएँ होती हैं, जहाँ वे रहतीं हैं, और पक्षियों के घोंसले होते हैं, परन्तु मैं मनुष्य का पुत्र हूँ, परन्तु मेरे पास घर नहीं है जहाँ मैं सो सकूँ।” BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21 IEV यीशु के शिष्यों में से एक व्यक्ति ने उनसे कहा,“हे प्रभु, पहले मुझे घर जाने की अनुमति दें। मेरे पिता के मरने के बाद मैं उसे दफन कर दूँगा और फिर आपके पीछे चलूँगा।” BSB BSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 IEV परन्तु यीशु ने उससे कहा,“मेरे पीछे हो ले। जो लोग मरे हुओं के समान हैं, उन्हें ही अपने लोगों के मरने की प्रतीक्षा करने दे।” BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 IEV फिर यीशु नाव पर चढ़ गए और उनके शिष्य उनके पीछे हो लिए। BSB BSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 IEV अचानक तेज हवाएँ पानी पर चलीं, और बहुत अधिक ऊँची लहरें नाव से टकरा रही थीं और नाव में पानी भर रहा था। परन्तु यीशु सो रहे थे। BSB BSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.
25 IEV शिष्यों ने उन्हें जगाया, और कहा,“प्रभु, हमें बचाओ! हम डूब रहे हैं।” BSB BSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 IEV यीशु ने उनसे कहा,“मत डरो! क्या तुम्हें विश्वास नहीं कि मैं तुमको बचा सकता हूँ।” तब वह उठे और हवा को डाँटा और लहरों को शान्त रहने के लिए कहा। तुरन्त हवा का चलना बन्द हो गया और पानी शान्त हो गया। BSB BSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27 IEV वे लोग चकित हो गए, और उन्होंने एक- दूसरे से कहा,“यह पुरुष एक असाधारण व्यक्ति है! सब कुछ इनके वश में है, यहाँ तक कि हवाएँ और लहरें भी उनकी बात मानती हैं!” BSB BSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28 IEV जब वे झील के पूर्वी भाग में आए, तो वे उस क्षेत्र में पहुँचे जहाँ गदरेनी लोग रहते थे। फिर दो पुरुष जिनको दुष्ट- आत्माओं ने अपने वश में किया हुआ था, उस कब्रिस्तान से बाहर निकल गए जहाँ वे रहते थे। क्योंकि वे बहुत हिंसक थे और लोगों पर आक्रमण कर देते थे इसलिए, कोई भी वहाँ उस सड़क पर यात्रा करने का साहस नहीं करता था। BSB BSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29 IEV वे अकस्मात ही चिल्ला कर यीशु से कहने लगे,“आप परमेश्वर के पुत्र हैं! क्योंकि आप में और हम में कुछ भी समान नहीं है, हमें अकेला छोड़ दें! क्या आप उस समय से पहले जो परमेश्वर ने हमें दण्ड देने के लिए नियुक्त किया है, हमें यहाँ पर दुख देने के लिए आए हैं?” BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 IEV वहाँ सूअरों का एक बड़ा झुण्ड चर रहा था वह अधिक दूर नहीं था। BSB BSB: In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31 IEV “अत: दुष्ट- आत्माओं ने यीशु से विनती की और कहा,” आप इन लोगों में से हमें बाहर निकालने जा रहे हैं, तो हमें उन सूअरों में भेज दें!” BSB BSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 IEV यीशु ने उनसे कहा,“जाओ!” इसलिए दुष्ट- आत्माओं ने व्यक्ति को छोड़ दिया और सूअरों में प्रवेश किया। अचानक, सूअरों का पूरा झुण्ड टीले पर से पानी में कूदकर डूब गया। BSB BSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33 IEV “जो लोग सूअरों की देख- रेख कर रहे थे, वे डर गए और शहर में भाग गए और जो कुछ हुआ था, उन दो पुरुषों, के विषय में जो दुष्ट- आत्माओं के वश में थे और सूअरों के साथ क्या हुआ था उसके विषय में सबको बताया। BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34 IEV और ऐसा प्रतीत होता था कि उस शहर में रहने वाले सब लोग यीशु से मिलने को निकल आए हैं। जब उन्होंने यीशु को देखा, तो उन्होंने यीशु से अनुरोध किया कि वह उनके क्षेत्र से चले जाएँ। BSB BSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
