1. 1HILGinsugiran pa gid ni Jesus ang iya mga sumulunod sang isa ka paanggid para tudluan sila sa pagpangamuyo permi kag indi madulaan sing paglaom.BSBBSB: Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray at all times and not lose heart:
2. 2HILNagsiling siya, “May isa ka huwis sa isa ka siyudad nga wala nagakahadlok sa Dios kag baliwala lang sa iya ang iya isigkatawo.BSBBSB: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected men.
3. 3HILKag didto man sa sina nga siyudad may isa ka balo nga babayi nga permi nagabalik-balik sa huwis kag nagasiling, ‘Hatagi ako sang hustisya kontra sa akon kaaway.’BSBBSB: And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’
4. 4HILSang premiro indi magbulig ang huwis. Pero sang ulihi, tungod nga sige ang pagbalik-balik sang balo kag ginadisturbo siya permi, naghunahuna siya nga bisan wala siya nagakahadlok sa Dios kag baliwala lang sa iya ang iya isigkatawo, magabulig na lang siya para makuha sang balo ang hustisya agod indi na siya matak-an sa iya nga pagbalik-balik.”BSBBSB: For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect men,
5. 6HILDayon nagsiling si Ginoo ng Jesus sa ila, “Ti nakita ninyo ang ginhimo sang huwis nga indi gani matarong?BSBBSB: And the Lord said, “Listen to the words of the unjust judge.
6. 7HILAng Dios pa ayhan! Indi gid mahimo nga indi niya paghatagan hustisya ang iya katawhan nga nagapanawag sa iya adlaw-gab-i. Sigurado gid nga indi niya sila pagpabay-an.BSBBSB: Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay in helping them?
7. 8HILAng matuod, buligan niya sila gilayon. Pero kon magbalik na ako nga Anak sang Tawo diri sa kalibutan, may makita ayhan ako nga mga tawo nga nagatuo?”BSBBSB: I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”
8. 9HILMay mga tawo didto nga nagasalig nga sila gid lang ang matarong kag nagainsulto sila sa iban. Gani ginsugiran sila ni Jesus sining paanggid:BSBBSB: To some who trusted in their own righteousness and viewed others with contempt, He also told this parable:
9. 10HIL“May duha ka tawo nga nagkadto sa templo sa pagpangamuyo. Ang isa Pariseo kag ang isa manugsukot sang buhis.BSBBSB: “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
10. 11HILNagtindog ang Pariseo kag nagpangamuyo parte sa iya kaugalingon sing subong sini, ‘Dios ko, nagapasalamat ako sa imo nga indi ako pareho sang iban nga mga tawo, nga mga kawatan, dayaon, kag babahedor. Kag salamat nga indi man ako pareho sa sini nga manugsukot sang buhis.BSBBSB: The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.
11. 12HILKaduha ako magpuasa kada semana, kag ginahatag ko ang ikanapulo sang tanan ko nga kinitaan.’BSBBSB: I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’
12. 13HILAng manugsukot sang buhis nagtindog sa malayo kag indi gani siya magtangla sa langit, kundi ginapukpok niya ang iya dughan sa paghinulsol nga nagasiling, ‘Dios ko, kaluoyi ako nga makasasala!’BSBBSB: But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’
13. 14HILSa pagkamatuod, ining tawo nagpuli sa iya balay nga ginpakamatarong sang Dios sang sa isa. Indi ninyo sila pagpunggi, kay ang mga pareho sa ila nasakop sa paghari sang Dios.BSBBSB: But Jesus called the children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
16. 17HILSa pagkamatuod, ang bisan sin-o nga indi magpasakop sa paghari sang Dios pareho sang pagpasakop sang mga bata nga ini indi gid malakip sa paghari sang Dios.”BSBBSB: Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
17. 18HILMay isa ka manugdumala sang mga Judio nga nagpamangkot kay Jesus, “Maayo nga Manunudlo, ano bala ang akon himuon para maangkon ko ang kabuhi nga wala sing katapusan?”BSBBSB: Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

19. 20HILKon parte sa imo pamangkot, nahibaluan mo naman ang ginasiling sang Kasuguan: ‘Indi ka magpanginbabayi ukon magpanginlalaki, indi ka magpatay, indi ka magpangawat, indi ka magsaksi sing butig, tahuron mo ang imo amay kag iloy.’ ”BSBBSB: You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.’”
20. 21HILNagsabat ang tawo, “Ina tanan ginatuman ko halin sang bata pa ako.”BSBBSB: “All these I have kept from my youth,” he said.
21. 22HILSang pagkabati ni Jesus sang iya sabat, nagsiling siya, “Isa pa ka butang ang kulang sa imo. Ibaligya ang imo mga pagkabutang, kag ang kuwarta ipanagtag sa mga imol. Kag makaangkon ka sang manggad sa langit. Dayon magbalik ka kag magsunod sa akon.”BSBBSB: On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22. 23HILPero sang pagkabati niya sadto, nagkasubo siya tungod kay manggaranon gid siya.BSBBSB: But when the ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was extremely wealthy.
23. 24HILSang makita ni Jesus nga nagkasubo siya, nagsiling siya, “Mabudlay gid para sa mga manggaranon nga magpasakop sa paghari sang Dios.BSBBSB: Seeing the man’s sadness, Jesus said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!
24. 25HILMas mahapos pa nga mag-agi ang camel sa buho sang dagom sang sa magpasakop ang manggaranon sa paghari sang Dios.”BSBBSB: Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
25. 26HILDayon nagpamangkot ang mga nakabati sang ginhambal ni Jesus, “Ti kon amo sina, sin-o na lang ang maluwas?”BSBBSB: Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26. 27HILGinsabat sila ni Jesus, “Ang indi mahimo sang tawo mahimo sang Dios.”BSBBSB: But Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
27. 28HILDayon nagsiling si Pedro, “Ti kami, ginbayaan namon ang amon mga pagkabutang kag nagsunod sa imo.”BSBBSB: “Look,” said Peter, “we have left all we had to follow You.”
28. 29HILNagsiling si Jesus sa ila, “Sa pagkamatuod, wala gid sing tawo nga nagbiya sang iya balay, asawa, mga utod, ginikanan, ukon mga bata tungod sang iya pagpasakop sa paghari sang Dios,BSBBSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God
29. 30HILnga indi makabaton sa sini nga panahon sang madamo pa gid sang sa iya ginbayaan, kag sa palaabuton makabaton man sang kabuhi nga wala sing katapusan.”BSBBSB: will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
30. 31HILGinpain ni Jesus ang iya dose ka apostoles kag ginsilingan, “Pamati kamo! Nagapataklad kita sa Jerusalem, kag didto matuman ang mga ginsulat sang mga propeta parte sa akon nga Anak sang Tawo.BSBBSB: Then Jesus took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the prophets have written about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
31. 32HILKay itugyan ako sa mga tawo nga indi Judio. Yagutaon nila ako, pakahuy-an kag duplaan.BSBBSB: He will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.
32. 33HILHanuton man nila ako kag patyon, pero sa ikatlo nga adlaw mabanhaw ako.”BSBBSB: They will flog Him and kill Him, and on the third day He will rise again.”
33. 34HILPero wala gid makaintiendi ang mga apostoles kon ano ang buot silingon ni Jesus, kay ginlipod sa ila ang kahulugan sang iya ginhambal.BSBBSB: But the disciples did not understand any of these things. The meaning was hidden from them, and they did not comprehend what He was saying.
34. 35HILSang malapit na sila ni Jesus sa Jerico, may isa ka bulag nga nagapungko sa higad sang dalan nga nagapakilimos.BSBBSB: As Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting beside the road, begging.
35. 36HILPagkabati niya nga nagaalagi ang madamo nga tawo, nagpamangkot siya kon ano ato.BSBBSB: When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.
36. 37HILGinsugiran nila siya nga nagaagi si Jesus nga taga-Nazaret.BSBBSB: “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by,” they told him.
37. 38HILPagkahibalo niya sadto nagsinggit siya, “Jesus, kaliwat ni David, kaluoyi ako!”BSBBSB: So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
38. 39HILGinsaway siya sang mga tawo nga maghipos. Pero gintuduhan pa gid gani niya singgit, “Kaliwat ni David, kaluoyi ako!”BSBBSB: Those who led the way admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39. 40HILDayon nagpundo si Jesus kag nagsugo nga dal-on ang bulag sa iya. Pag-abot sang bulag ginpamangkot siya ni Jesus,BSBBSB: Jesus stopped and directed that the man be brought to Him. When he had come near, Jesus asked him,
40. 41HIL“Ano bala ang imo gusto nga himuon ko sa imo?” Nagsabat ang bulag, “Ginoo, gusto ko nga makakita.”BSBBSB: “What do you want Me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “let me see again.”
41. 42HILNagsiling si Jesus sa iya, “Makakita ka na. Ang imo pagtuo nag-ayo sa imo.”BSBBSB: “Receive your sight!” Jesus replied. “Your faith has healed you.”
42. 43HILKag sa gilayon nakakita siya. Dayon nagsunod siya kay Jesus nga nagadayaw sa Dios. Pagkakita sang mga tawo sini, nagdayaw sila sa Dios.BSBBSB: Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
