Zephaniah 3 (HIL)

1Nagsiling si Zefanias, “Kaluluoy ang Jerusalem! Ang iya mga pumuluyo nagarebelde sa Dios kag nagahimo sang mahigko nga mga butang, kag ang iya mga pangulo nagapamigos.Woe to the city of oppressors, rebellious and defiled!

2Wala sila nagatuman bisan kay sin-o, kag indi sila gusto nga tudluan. Wala sila nagasalig ukon nagapalapit sa Ginoo nga ila Dios.She heeded no voice; she accepted no correction. She does not trust in the LORD; she has not drawn near to her God.

3Ang ila mga opisyal daw pareho sa nagangurob nga leon. Ang ila mga pangulo daw pareho sa mabangis nga ido nga nagapangita sang iya tulukbon kon gab-i, kag ang iya biktima ginaubos niya kag wala na sing bilin pagkaaga.Her princes are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves, leaving nothing for the morning.

4Ang ila mga propeta mga dasodaso kag indi masaligan. Ginahigkuan sang ila mga pari ang templo kag ginalapas nila ang Kasuguan sang Dios.Her prophets are reckless, faithless men. Her priests profane the sanctuary; they do violence to the law.

5Pero ara gihapon ang presensya sang Ginoo sa ila nga siyudad. Ginahimo sang Ginoo ang husto kag wala siya nagahimo sang indi husto. Adlaw-adlaw ginapakita niya kon ano ang husto, kag wala niya ini ginauntatan. Pero ang malain nga mga tawo nagapadayon gihapon sa paghimo sang malain kag wala sila nahuya.The LORD within her is righteous; He does no wrong. He applies His justice morning by morning; He does not fail at dawn, yet the unjust know no shame.

6“Karon, nagasiling ang Ginoo, ‘Ginlaglag ko ang mga nasyon; gin-guba ko ang ila mga siyudad pati ang mga pader kag mga tore sini. Wala sing may nabilin sa ila mga pumuluyo, gani wala na sang tawo nga makita nga nagalakat sa ila mga karsada.“I have cut off the nations; their corner towers are destroyed. I have made their streets deserted with no one to pass through. Their cities are laid waste, with no man, no inhabitant.

7Tungod sa sining akon ginhimo naghunahuna ako nga tahuron na ako sang akon katawhan kag batunon na nila ang akon pagsaway sa ila, para indi malaglag ang ila siyudad suno sa gintalana ko sa ila. Pero nagpakasala pa gid gani sila tapat.I said, ‘Surely you will fear Me and accept correction.’ Then her dwelling place would not be cut off despite all for which I punished her. But they rose early to corrupt all their deeds.

8“ ‘Gani kamo nga matutom nga mga taga-Jerusalem, hulata lang ninyo ang adlaw nga iakusar ko ang mga nasyon. Tungod kay nagdesisyon na ako nga tipunon ko ang mga nasyon kag mga ginharian para ipakita ko sa ila ang akon puwerte nga kaakig nga pareho sang kalayo nga magalamon sang bilog nga kalibutan.Therefore wait for Me,” declares the LORD, “until the day I rise to testify. For My decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out upon them My indignation—all My burning anger. For all the earth will be consumed by the fire of My jealousy.

9Kag dayon bag-uhon ko ang mga tawo para tanan sila magadangop sa akon kag magaisa sa pag-alagad sa akon.For then I will restore pure lips to the peoples, that all may call upon the name of the LORD and serve Him shoulder to shoulder.

10Ang akon katawhan nga naglalapta sa unhan sang mga suba sang Ethiopia magadala sa akon sang mga halad.From beyond the rivers of Cush My worshipers, My scattered people, will bring Me an offering.

11“ ‘Sa sina nga adlaw nga magasilot ako, kamo nga mga taga-Jerusalem indi mahuy-an sa tanan nga sala nga ginhimo ninyo sa akon. Kay kuhaon ko sa inyo ang mga tawo nga bugalon kag matinaas-taason. Kag indi na kamo magpabugal liwat didto sa akon balaan nga bukid.On that day you will not be put to shame for any of the deeds by which you have transgressed against Me. For then I will remove from among you those who rejoice in their pride, and you will never again be haughty on My holy mountain.

12Pero bilinan ko ang Jerusalem sang mga tawo nga pigado kag kubos, nga magapangayo sang bulig sa akon.But I will leave within you a meek and humble people, and they will trust in the name of the LORD.

13Ini sila nga nagkalabilin nga mga Israelinhon indi maghimo sang malain; indi sila magbutig ukon magpangdaya. Magakaon sila kag magatulog nga wala sing may ginakahadlukan.’ ”The remnant of Israel will no longer do wrong or speak lies, nor will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouths. But they will feed and lie down, with no one to make them tremble.”

14Nagsiling si Zefanias, “Kamo nga mga pumuluyo sang Israel, maghinugyaw kamo! Kamo nga mga pumuluyo sang Zion, ang siyudad sang Jerusalem, magkanta kamo kag magkalipay sa bug-os ninyo nga tagipusuon!Sing for joy, O Daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O Daughter of Jerusalem!

15Kay indi na kamo pagsilutan sang Ginoo. Tabugon niya ang inyo mga kaaway. Kaupod ninyo ang Ginoo, ang Hari sang Israel, gani wala na kamo sing kahadlukan nga katalagman.The LORD has taken away your punishment; He has turned back your enemy. Israel’s King, the LORD, is among you; no longer will you fear any harm.

16“Sa sina nga adlaw magasiling ang mga tawo sa inyo nga mga taga-Jerusalem, ‘Mga pumuluyo sang Zion, indi kamo magkahadlok; indi kamo magkaluya.On that day they will say to Jerusalem: “Do not fear, O Zion; do not let your hands fall limp.

17Kay kaupod ninyo ang Ginoo nga inyo Dios. Pareho siya sa isa ka gamhanan nga soldado nga magaluwas sa inyo. Malipay gid siya sa inyo, kag paagi sa iya gugma bag-uhon niya ang inyo kabuhi. Magakanta siya kag magahugyaw sa kalipay tungod sa inyo,The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”

18pareho sang tawo nga nagakalipay sa adlaw sang piesta.’ “Nagasiling ang Ginoo, ‘Kuhaon ko ang inyo pag-antos para indi na kamo mahuy-an.“I will gather those among you who grieve over the appointed feasts, so that you will no longer suffer reproach.

19Sa sina nga tion, silutan ko ang tanan nga nagadaogdaog sa inyo. Luwason kag tipunon ko kamo nga pareho sa mga karnero nga nagkalapiang kag naglalapta. Ginpakahuy-an kamo sadto, pero padunggan ko kamo kag himuon nga bantog sa bilog nga kalibutan.Behold, at that time, I will deal with all who afflict you. I will save the lame and gather the scattered; and I will appoint praise and fame for the disgraced throughout the earth.

20Huo, tipunon ko kamo sa sina nga tion, kag papulion ko kamo sa inyo duta. Padunggan ko kamo kag himuon nga bantog sa bilog nga kalibutan. Matabo ini sa tion nga ibalik ko ang inyo maayo nga kahimtangan, nga makita ninyo mismo. Ako, ang Ginoo, ang nagasiling sini.’ ”At that time I will bring you in; yes, at that time I will gather you. For I will give you fame and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your captives before your very eyes,” says the LORD.
