1इस्राएल के सभी लोगों के नाम “इस्राएल के राजाओं के इतिहास” नामक पुस्तक में लिखे हैं। यहूदा के बहुत से लोगों को बन्दी बनाकर बाबेल ले जाया गया था यह उनके पापों का परिणाम था।So all Israel was recorded in the genealogies written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. But Judah was exiled to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.

2बहुत से लोग कई साल बाद पहली बार यहूदा लौट कर आए और अपनी-अपनी भूमि में रहने लगे उनमें से कुछ इस्राएली याजक थे और लेवी के अन्य वंशज भी थे, कुछ मन्दिर में सेवा करनेवाले भी थे।Now the first to resettle their own property in their cities were Israelites, priests, Levites, and temple servants.

3यहूदा, बिन्यामीन, एप्रैम और मनश्शे के गोत्रों के अन्य लोग यहूदा लौटकर आए और यरूशलेम में रह रहे थे। यहूदा के गोत्र के उन लोगों की एक सूची निम्नलिखित है।Some of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem:

4यहूदा का गोत्र: अम्मीहुद का पुत्र ऊतै; अम्मीहूद; ओम्री का पुत्र था और ओम्री, इम्री का बेटा था और; बनी पेरेस का वंशज था; तथा पेरेस यहूदा का बेटा था।Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.

5असायाह और उसके पुत्र शीलाई के वंशज थे। असायाह अपने परिवार में सबसे बड़ा बेटा था।From the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.

9बिन्यामीन के वंशजों के अभिलेख में, यरूशलेम में रहने वाले 956 लोगों के नाम हैं। ये सब अपने-अपने कुलों प्रधान थे।and 956 of their relatives according to their genealogy. All these men were heads of their families.

10यहूदा में लौटे कुछ याजक थे: यदायाह, यहोयारीब, और याकीन,From the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, and Jachin;

13याजक कुल मिलाकर 1760 थे जो यहूदा लौट आए। वे अपने-अपने कुलों के प्रधान थे, और वे सभी परमेश्वर के मंदिर में काम करने के लिए उत्तरदायी थे।and 1,760 of their relatives, the heads of their families, able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

16शमायाह का पुत्र ओबद्याह भी था; गालात का बेटा शमायाह; यदूतून का बेटा गालात; आसा का बेटा बेरेक्याह भी थे; एल्काना का पुत्र आसा, जो नतोपाइयों के एक गांवों में रहता था।Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

19कोरे का पुत्र शल्लूम: एब्यासाप का पुत्र; कोरे कोरे का बेटा एब्यासाप था। शल्लूम और उसके भाई बन्धु द्वारपाल थे, और वे यहोवा के मन्दिर के द्वारों की रक्षा करने के उत्तरदायी थे, जैसा कि उनके पूर्वजों ने किया था।Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives from the Korahites were assigned to guard the thresholds of the Tent, just as their fathers had been assigned to guard the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.

21मेशेलेम्याह का पुत्र जकर्याह मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर द्वारपाल था।Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

They were registered by genealogy in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their positions of trust.

24मंदिर के चारों ओर पूर्व, पश्चिम, उत्तर और दक्षिण में द्वारपाल थे।The gatekeepers were stationed on the four sides: east, west, north, and south.

25कभी-कभी उन गांवों में रहने वाले द्वारपालों के संबन्धियों के लिए भी आवश्यक था कि उनकी सहायता करने के लिए आएँ वे जब भी आते थे तो उन्हें सात दिन तक द्वारपालों की सहायता करनी होती थी।Their relatives came from their villages at fixed times to serve with them for seven-day periods.

27वे रात में मंदिर की रक्षा करने के लिए जागते थे, और सुबह द्वार खोलते थे।They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they were responsible for guarding it and opening it every morning.

29मंदिर में अन्य सामान की देखभाल करने के लिए अन्य द्वारपाल नियुक्त किए गए थे।Others were put in charge of the furnishings and other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, frankincense, and spices.

35बिन्यामीन के वंशजों में से एक, यीएल, गिबोन शहर में रहता था। वह शहर का प्रधान था। उनकी पत्नी का नाम माका था।Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah.

36उसका सबसे बड़ा बेटा अब्दोन था। उनके अन्य पुत्र खूर, कीश, बाल, नेर, नादाब,Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

37गदोर, अहयो, जकर्याह, और मिल्कोत थे।Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38मिल्कोत शिमाम का पिता था। यीएल का परिवार यरूशलेम में अपने संबन्धियों के साथ रहता था।Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.

39नेर कीश का पिता था। कीश राजा शाऊल का पिता था। शाऊल योनातान, मल्कीश, अबीनादाब और एशबाल का पिता था।Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

40योनातान का पुत्र मरीब्बाल था। मरीब्बाल मीका का पिता था।The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, who was the father of Micah.

41मीका के पुत्र पितन, मेलेक, तहय और आहाज थे।The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.

42आहाज यारा का पिता था। यारा अालेमेत, अजमावेत और जिम्री का पिता था। जिम्री, मोसा का पिता था।Ahaz was the father of Jarah; Jarah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri was the father of Moza.

43मोसा, बिना का पिता था। बिना का पुत्र रपायाह था। रपायाह का पुत्र एलासा था। एलासा का पुत्र आसेल था।Moza was the father of Binea. Rephaiah was his son, Elasah his son, and Azel his son.

44आसेल के छ: पुत्र थे: अज़्रीकाम, बोकरू, यिश्माएल, शार्याह, ओबद्याह और हनान।And Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
