11 UDB उनमें से एक ने कहा, "हे गलील के पुरूषों, तुम्हें आकाश की ओर देखते हुए यहाँ पर और अधिक खड़े रहने की आवयश्कता नहीं है! एक दिन यही यीशु, जिन्हें परमेश्वर ने स्वर्ग में उठा लिया है, वे पृथ्वी पर वापस आएँगे। वे वैसे ही लौटकर आएँगे जैसे तुमने अभी उन्हें स्वर्ग में जाते देखा है।" BSB BSB: “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”

15 UDB उन्हीं दिनों में पतरस अपने साथी विश्वासियों के बीच खड़ा हुआ। उस स्थान पर यीशु के लगभग 120 अनुयायियों का समूह था। उसने कहा, BSB BSB: In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (a gathering of about a hundred and twenty) and said,
17 UDB यहूदा हमारे जैसा ही एक प्रेरित था, परन्तु उसने उन लोगों का मार्गदर्शन किया जिन्होंने यीशु को पकड़ लिया और उन्हें मार डाला।" BSB BSB: He was one of our number and shared in this ministry.”
19 UDB यरूशलेम में रहने वाले सब लोगों ने इस बारे में सुना था, इसलिए उन्होंने उस खेत को अपनी अरामी भाषा के अनुसार हकलदमा नाम दिया, जिसका अर्थ है "लहू का खेत", क्योंकि वहां पर किसी की मृत्यु हो गई थी। BSB BSB: This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so they called that field in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

22 UDB अर्थात यूहन्ना का बपतिस्मा पाने के बाद से लेकर यीशु का हमें छोड़कर स्वर्ग में उठा लिए जाने तक। यहूदा के स्थान पर आनेवाले व्यक्ति के लिये आवश्यक है कि वह हमारे साथ मिलकर लोगों को यीशु के बारे में सुनाए और यह भी कि वे मरने के बाद फिर से जीवित हो गये हैं।" BSB BSB: beginning from John’s baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us. Show us which of these two You have chosen
26 UDB तब उन्होंने उन दोनों के बीच में चयन करने के लिए चिट्ठियाँ डालीं, और मत्तियाह के नाम पर चिट्टी निकली, और वह अन्य ग्यारह प्रेरितों के साथ एक प्रेरित हो गया। BSB BSB: Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias. So he was added to the eleven apostles.
